Palm Sunday
Next Sunday (Palm or Passion Sunday), Christians celebrate the triumphal enter of Jesus into Jerusalem. For many Christian churches, Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, which concludes on Easter Sunday. The Bible reveals that when Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds greeted him by wav-
ing palm branches and covering his path with palm branches. Immediately following this great time of celebration in the ministry of Jesus, he begins his journey to the cross. As we receive palm branches and listen to the reading of the Passion next Sunday, let us enter into Holy Week with Jesus. His passion is our passion;; his death is our death. Most im-
portantly, his Resurrection is our resurrection to new life!
