THANK YOU
Sandi Davidson of the Pregnancy Help Center would like to thank
us for the wonderful response to the Baby Bottle Drive. A little
over $1,500 was donated! In her letter dated June 5, Sandi wrote,
“Your continued prayers and support over the years have meant
so much to us and those we serve. Please know that you are
making a tremendous difference. May the Lord bless you for
serving Him so faithfully.”
ST. VINCENT de PAUL
Your St. Vincent de Paul conference has donated $500 from the
proceeds of the SJN parish Resource Guide to assist victims of the
Oklahoma tornadoes. Anyone wishing to directly assist these victims can place checks or money in the poor box, with a note indicating your intention. This money will go directly to SVdP conferences in the affected communities to assist people with food, water,
clothing and shelter .
SVdP is providing confidential assistance to an SJN parish family
who is in need of a used car. This family is active in our parish and
diocese and is financially stressed by the demands of raising a family and living on a single income. If you have a car you would be
willing to donate or sell for a reasonable amount, please contact
David Campbell at [email protected] or (865) 755-3575. Thank
you for your consideration.
