Last Spring we announced that
after careful consideration by the diocese and the individual
parishes, St. Augustine would not be merging with St. Francis
Xavier. The Bishop did ask that we form an evangelization
committee, though, made up of members from both parishes to
collaborate on adult formation programs, community building,
and outreach to young Catholics. We would like to thank Evelyne Longchamp, Marie Corkhill and Sr. Ellen for being part
of this Evangelization Committee. We met this fall on September 26, October 23 and will meet again on Monday, November
26. If you have any ideas you would like to share with the
committee, please let one of us know.
