Today wireless standards cover a wide range of data rate related to distance, continuously trending toward offering the best wireless connectivity anywhere. It would not be surprising that in the 4th generation (4G) the portable devices will become a universal terminal. From the realization viewpoint, nevertheless, stepping toward a “one-fits-all” radio is undoubtedly thorny. One implication of 4G wireless communication to the development of wireless systems is that the terminal must be compatible with most existing standards. GSM, GPS, WCDMA, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, WiMax, Bluetooth, ZeeBee and Ultra Wideband, just to name a few, are certain prospective standards that will contribute to the final wireless domain. Distributed over a wide range of spectrum, and utilized different modulations, complicate the reuse of analog blocks and tradeoffs in 項目摘要 frequency plan, especially for handheld devices. Sumário de Projeto Another bottleneck in realization is that the advance in lithography to nanoscale nodes requires the systems to operate underneath a low-voltage supply for the reliability issue, but with a slightly scaled threshold voltage for reducing the leakage power. This research addresses those concerns investigating advanced transceiver analog-baseband solutions.
