•Suspende a exigibilidade das obrigações
•Duração de 6 meses a 1 ano
•Intervention
•It suspends the enforceability of obligations

•Liquidação extrajudicial
•Paralisa a instituição e interrompe os
pagamentos
•Não tem prazo, se encerra:
- com a retomada das atividades
- por transformação em liquidação ordinária
- com a baixa no registro público; ou
- se decretada a falência
•Compulsory liquidation
•It paralyzes the institution and stops the

•There's no time limit, it ends:
- with the resumption of the activities
- by transformation into private liquidation
