:: With the interior project at the new Penhaligon’s store, Christopher Jenner inaugurates a new chapter in the story of his studio, where he gives life to the ‘design sensation’, a style which synthesises the relationship between emotion, luxury and decorative arts. Established in 1870 by William Penhaligon, the British perfume brand is now an empire, an authentic institution in Her Majesty’s kingdom, producing unique perfumes with rare ingredients. Just like in the two other stores that he has already developed for Penhaligon’s, Jenner seeks inspiration in the location of the premises as a starting point, in this case the Tudor, Gothic and Regency style of the renowned Regency Street which, together with the eccentricity of the Edwardian age and the revolutionary style of Japanese manga, provide the inspiration for a magnificent fusion of the classic and contemporary. Refined materials and solutions with inlaid marquetry panelling, bronze fretwork carved by laser, Chesterfield-style padded walls with light boxes to display the bottles of perfumes and the ‘Brighton Pavilion Onion Dome’ lamps hanging from the ceiling, express the patterns, shapes and textures of a unique language which embodies the essence of traditional British arts associated with high-tech production. :: Imagens Ω Images : Cedidas por Ω Courtesy of: Christopher Jenner — Texto Ω Text : Alexandra Novo 76 79 Boa Compra π Good Buy π 07 forma decisiva todo o percurso da Arquitectura de Interiores dos anos 50 aos anos 70.
