PRIMERGY RX300 S2 is a dual-processor rack server,
making it a universal and powerful platform for a wide
range of application areas for data centers and server farm
concepts. It is particularly outstanding for user applications that demand maximum scalability, performance and
availability in a space-saving rack cabinet.
Superb power reserves are available through the latest 2way 64-bit Intel® Xeon® processors with up to 3.80GHz,
2 MB SLC and 800 MHz FSB and Intel® E7520 chipset
supporting EM64Technology.
Other advanced functions include a high degree of avail-
ability concerning memory protection mechanisms at up
to 16GB, 2-way interleaved DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-3200)
memory with Memory Scrubbing, SDDC (Single Device
Data Correction), Hot-spare Memory option and Memory Mirroring option. For extended bandwith, PRIMERGY RX300 S2 applies an onboard 2-channel Ultra320 SCSI controller and onboard dual Gbit Ethernet
LAN controller.
