LED Beleuchtungsplatine für GroßspurPersonenwagen. Die Elektronik passt
dank der Mehrfach-Befestigungslöcher
direkt in sehr viele LGB®-Wagen, kann
aber auch in Fahrzeuge anderer Hersteller montiert werden. 8 warmweiße
LED‘s sorgen für eine gleichmäßige
angenehme und wartungsfreie Ausleuchtung und einen sehr geringen
Stromverbrauch von nur 0,03A. Durch
doppelt vorhandene Gleichrichter kann
die Platine auch an vorgegebenen
Punkten geteilt werden. Ab ca. 14V wird
eine gleichmäßige Helligkeit erreicht.
Der Anschluß erfolgt über verschiedene
Lötpunkte.

Bauen Sie die Elektronik sorgfältig nach
den Anschlußplänen ein. Werden beim
Einbau Kabel vertauscht oder Kabel
kurzgeschlossen, kann dies zur Zerstörung der Elektronik führen.
Direkte Gleisspannung (=/~) darf nur
am jeweiligen Platinenende vor dem
Gleichrichter angeschlossen werden.
Alle anderen Anschlüsse dürfen nur mit

LED Lighting Board for G-scale coaches.
This lighting board fits into most of
the coaches of LGB® and other G-scale
manufacturers. The board may be
mounted using the mounting holes or
by double sided tape. The 8 warm white
LEDs deliver an even and pleasant light
distribution combined with a very low
current: 0.03Amps. The design of the
boards allows the board to be divided
at marked locations. Starting at 14V
the lighting board delivers a constant
brightness. Various soldering pads are
provided for power input.

Install the Lighting Board according to
the wiring diagrams. A connection error
or short circuit may lead to serious
damage to the board.
Track power (DC or AC) may only be
connected to the ends of the Lighting
Board where the rectifiers are located.
All other inputs to be used with DC with
the correct polarization only!

2.1 Anschluss
2.1 Hook-Up
Löten sie das Anschlusskabel an die
beiden Lötpads (=/~) auf der linken
Seite mit den 6 Dioden an.
Schließen sie dann das Kabel direkt
an das Gleis oder an einen Funktionsausgang eines Digitaldekoders an.
Erweiterte Anschlussmöglichkeiten
finden sie in Kapitel 3.
Solder the connection cable to the
soldering pads marked “=/~“ on the
left hand side where the 6 diodes are
located.
This cable must be connected to either
track power or a function output of a
digital decoder. Please find further
connecting options in chapter 3.

2.2 Einbau
Die Lichtplatine sollte mit mindestens
2 Schrauben (oder mit doppelseitigem
Klebeband) im Dach befestigt werden.
Eine Übersicht zum Einbau in diverse
Fahrzeuge finden sie im Anhang A.

The Lighting Board should be mounted
with at least 2 screws or double sided
tape in the roof of the coach. A summary of the various types of installations
can be found in appendix A.

3.1 Anschluss von Pufferelkos
3.1 Installation of a Power Buffer
Die Lichtleiste enthält bereits 2 kleine
Kondensatoren als Puffer, um
Flackern zu verhindern. Zusätzliche Kondensatoren können an die Lötpads mit
der Beschriftung „+“ und „-“ (Abb. 2)
polungsrichtig angeschlossen werden.
Bei Puffern mit Werten größer 100µF
sollten ein Ladewiderstand (150 Ohm)
zwischen Lötpad+ und Elko+ zusätzlich
eingebaut werden. (Tipps zum Selbstbau von kleinen Puffern finden sie im
Massoth Forum (forum.massoth.de)).
Wir weisen hier ausdrücklich darauf
hin, das die Elkos (Elektrolytkondensatoren) polungsrichtig angeschlossen
werden müssen und mindestens eine
Spannungsfestigkeit von 35 V haben
sollten. Bei Nichtbeachtung kann die
Elektronik dadurch zerstört werden.
Werden Elkos falsch angeschlossen,
so zerstören diese sich explosionsartig!
Für Schäden die dadurch entstehen
übernehmen wir keine Haftung.
The Lighting Board is already equipped
with 2 capacitors to prevent flickering
of the LEDs. Additional electrolytic
capacitors (ECAPs) may be connected
to the soldering pads marked „+“ and
„-“ (Illustration 2). Please observe the
correct polarization. ECAPs larger than
100µF require a charge limiting resistor
(150 Ohms) between ECAP+ and the +
soldering pad. (Further tips for building
power buffers may be found on the
Massoth forum (forum.massoth.com))
We must point out that ECAPs must
have an electrical strength of at least
35Volts and they must be installed
in the correct polarization. Incorrect
installation may lead to severe damage to the Lighting Board. ECAPs may
explode if installed incorrectly!
Massoth Electronics cannot be responsible for damages resulting from
incorrect handling.

3.2 Trennung für kürzere Wagen
Die Platine darf nur an den 4 markierten
Punkten „A“ , „B“ , „C“ oder „D“ aufgetrennt werden ! (siehe Abbildung 3+4)
Bei falscher oder unsachgemäßer
Trennung erlischt jeglicher Garantieanspruch.
3.2 Dividing the Lighting Board for
smaller cars
The Lighting Board may be divided at
the a marked locations „A“ , „B“ , „C“ or
„D“ ! (see Illustrations 3+4) We recommend to use a jig saw, a cutting wheel
(Dremel Tool) or a large wire cutter.
Warranty is void if divided incorrectly.

An den Enden kann die Platine mit
beliebiger Spannung (DC, AC, DCC max.
24V) versorgt werden. Wenn sie auf
beiden Seiten gleichzeitig einspeisen
möchten, müssen sie an der in Abbildung 2 gezeigten Stelle eine Lötbrücke
machen (Beide Lichtgruppen intern
verbinden). Wenn sie nur einseitig
anschließen, dann immer links (die Seite
mit 6 Dioden).
Auf der Lichtleiste sind zusätzliche
Anschlusspunkte mit „+“ und „-“ gekennzeichnet. Hier kann die Platine auch
direkt mit Gleichspannung versorgt
werden.
Die 8 LED‘s sind in 2 Gruppen mit je
4 LED‘s aufgeteilt. Der linke Gleichrichtereingang (6 Dioden) versorgt

(This connects the left hand and right
hand LED groups). The power should
not exceed 24Volts DC, AC or DCC.
The Lighting Board features additional
soldering pads marked „+“ and „-“.
Use these terminals in case you want
to power the Lighting Board directly
with DC.
The 8 LEDs are divided into 2 groups
with 4 LEDs each. The left hand power

diese an „+“ und jeweils „-“ links und

both sections separately by function
outputs of a decoder, these decoders
should be connected to the “+“ and “-“
soldering pads of the left hand side and
