Die spannende Frage, was uns morgen antreibt, ist nach wie vor offen. Der universell einsetzbare Automobilantrieb ist nicht zu erwarten. In den nächsten Jahrzehnten wird eine Vielfalt verschiedener Antriebskonfigurationen für die Erfüllung
der unterschiedlichen spezifischen Mobilitätsanforderungen auf den Markt kommen. Die Bandbreite reicht von der Optimierung der Verbrennungsmotoren mit
Nutzung alternativer Kraftstoffe über verschiedene Hybrid-Systeme bis hin zum
reinen Elektroantrieb und der Brennstoffzelle. Die Elektromobilität wird öffentlich
intensiv diskutiert. Bleibt abzuwarten, ob und wann im Wettbewerb mit anderen
alternativen Antrieben der Durchbruch gelingen kann.
Der VDIK-Kongress „Alternative Antriebe“ wird sich mit folgenden Themenbereichen beschäftigen:
• Elektromobilität, auch unter Berücksichtigung des Themas Leichtbau
• Brennstoffzellen und Hybride mit Darstellung der verschiedenen HybridKonzepte
• Alternative Kraftstoffe mit der Bewertung des Potenzials von Erdgas
(CNG, LNG) und Flüssiggas (LPG) in Personenkraftwagen und schweren
Nutzfahrzeugen
Renommierte Experten aus Politik und Industrie werden zukunftsträchtige Antriebskonfigurationen vorstellen und zum Abschluss des Kongresses im Rahmen
eines Runden Tisches mit den Kongressteilnehmern diskutieren.
TARGET GROUP
The congress contributes to an informed discussion both in politics and among
the public. It addresses automobile manufacturers and importers, workshops,
people responsible for vehicle drive technologies at different ministries and
institutions and interested trade fair visitors, students studying the subject, and
members of the press.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The intriguing question of what will drive us tomorrow still remains unanswered.
We cannot expect to see the development of a universal automotive drive.
A number of different drive configurations will hit the market over the next
decade to meet a variety of specific mobility requirements. These new products
will range from optimized internal combustion engines that use alternative fuels
and different hybrid systems to purely electric engines and the fuel cell. Electric
mobility is being heavily discussed by the public. It remains to be seen whether
and when electric mobility will be able to hold its own against other alternative
drive systems.
The VDIK congress „Alternative Propulsion“ will focus on the following topics:
• Electric mobility,also in consideration of light-weight design
• Fuel cells and hybrids with presentation of the different hybrid concepts
• Alternativefuels with an assessment of the potential of using natural gas (CNG,
LNG) and liquid gas (LPG) in passenger cars and heavy-duty commercial
vehicles
Renowned experts from the worlds of politics and industry will present the drive
configurations of the future. The guest speakers will also attend a round table
to conclude the congress, where they will discuss various topics with congress
participants.
