Benvenuti al Ciampedie, il “Campo di Dio”, un altopiano panoramico sulla Val di Fassa e sulle
Dolomiti raggiungibile da Vigo di Fassa con le scale mobili e la funivia o da Pera di Fassa con
le seggiovie. Dai 2.000 metri di quota, al centro della conca del Catinaccio, si vedono i gruppi
del Sassolungo, del Sella, la Marmolada, il Sasso Vernale, la cresta del Costabella, il Buffaure, i
Monzoni e la Valaccia. In lontananza il gruppo del Latemar, le Pale di San Martino ed il Lagorai.
Ciampedie è l’ingresso principale al Gruppo del Catinaccio, uno dei gruppi dolomitici più spettacolari, riconosciuto patrimonio naturale dell’umanità dall’UNESCO. È l’ingresso a un ricco Centro Escursioni, con sentieri e percorsi ben segnalati, di tutti i tipi, dalla passeggiata percorribile
spingendo il passeggino, fino alle vie in parete, passando per vie attrezzate, trekking ed escursioni di più giorni.
Ma il Ciampedie è anche il posto ideale dove trascorrere qualche ora di relax a pochi minuti dal
fondovalle... Salite!
Willkommen in Ciampedie, im „Reich der Götter”, einem über dem Fassatal und inmitten der Dolomiten gelegenen Hochplateau, das von Vigo di Fassa aus mit den Rolltreppen und der Seilbahn oder von
Pera di Fassa aus mit den Sesselbahnen erreichbar ist. Aus 2000 Metern Seehöhe, mitten im Becken
der Rosengartengruppe gelegen, ist ein herrlicher Blick auf die Langkofelgruppe, die Sellagruppe, die
Marmolada, den Sas Vernel, den Costabella-Kamm, den Buffaure, die Monzoni-Gruppe und den Gipfel
des Valaccia gesichert. In der Ferne sieht man außerdem die Latemargruppe, die Pale di San Martino
und die Lagoraigruppe. Ciampedie ist der Haupteingang zum Rosengarten, eine der spektakulärsten
Dolomitengruppen, die von der UNESCO als Weltnaturerbe anerkannt wurde. Es ist der Zugangsort
zu einem vielseitigen Wanderparadies mit gut markierten Wanderwegen und Alpintouren jeglicher
Art, die von Spaziergängen mit dem Kinderwagen bis hin zu einer Kletterpartie auf gesicherten Steigen, Trekkingtouren und mehrtägigen Wanderungen reichen.
Der Ciampedie ist aber auch der ideale Ort, um einige entspannende Stunden in unmittelbarer Nähe

Welcome to Ciampedie, the “Field of
God”, a panoramic upland above Val di
Fassa, in the Dolomites, reachable from
Vigo di Fassa by the escalator and by
the cableway or from Pera di Fassa by
the chairlifts. At 2000 mt., in the middle
of the hollow of Catinaccio, you see the
mountain groups Sassolungo, Sella, Marmolada, Sasso Vernale, the ridge of Costabella, Buffaure, Monzoni and Valaccia.
Ciampedie is the main entrance to the
mountain group Catinaccio, one of the
most spectacular dolomitic mountain
group recognized as World Heritage
by UNESCO. It is the door to the wideranged hiking centre, with well-marked
paths and courses of any kind; from the
comfortable course where you can easily
drive the pushchair, to the via on the rocky walls, to the equipped via and many
long-duration trekkings and hikings. But
Ciampedie is also the best place where to

Nur wenige Meter von den Aufstiegsanlagen entfernt gibt es 6 Schutzhütten, und noch viele weitere entlang der Wege und Routen des Wanderparadieses Rosengarten. Viele davon bieten Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten und alle verwöhnen die hungrigen Wanderer mit den besten Gerichten der
einheimischen Küche.
An der Bergstation der Seilbahn ist ein großer Kinderspielplatz eingerichtet, wo sich Ihre Kinder
unter der Aufsicht von erfahrenen Betreuern bei Spiel und Spaß vergnügen, während Sie vielleicht
ein paar erholsame Stunden vor dem herrlichen Panorama der Dolomitengipfel oder auf der Terrasse
einer einladenden Schutzhütte genießen.
Es erwarten Sie hier aber auch interessante Themenwege: der Waldweg und der Weg der Sagen und
Legenden, die Sie später noch entdecken werden...
A pochi metri dall’arrivo degli impianti si trovano 6 rifugi, e molti altri lungo i sentieri del Centro
Escursioni Catinaccio. Molti offrono la possibilità di pernottamento e tutti si presentano con i migliori
piatti della cucina tradizionale.
All’arrivo della funivia si trova un grande parco giochi per il divertimento dei bambini, con possibilità
di affidarli a personale esperto per concedersi qualche ora di relax davanti alle cime dolomitiche più
affascinanti o sulla terrazza di un accogliente rifugio.

our typical gastronomy.
At the arrival of the cableway, you find a wide playground for the fun of your children, who are cared
by an expert staff, so you can enjoy some relax admiring the most fascinating dolomitic peaks or have
a rest on the terrace of a welcoming refuge.

storica! Le Dolomiti sono state riconosciute patrimonio naturale dell’umanità dall’UNESCO. Un riconoscimento assegnato a 9 sistemi montuosi dolomitici dei quali il Catinaccio Rosengarten è uno dei
più rappresentativi. L’UNESCO riconosce alle Dolomiti la bellezza e l’unicità paesaggistica assieme
all’importanza scientifica per le scienze della terra.

26. Juni 2009, ein unvergessliches Datum! An diesem Tag wurden die Dolomiten von der UNESCO
als Weltnaturerbe anerkannt. Die Anerkennung wurde 9 Teilgebieten der Dolomiten zuteil, unter
denen der Catinaccio (Rosengarten) eines der eindruckvollsten ist. Die UNESCO würdigt die Dolomiten für ihre außerordentliche Schönheit und landschaftliche Einzigartigkeit sowie die erdkundlich
wissenschaftliche Bedeutung.

uniqueness of the landscape and the scientific importance for the studies about the ground.

straordinarie foreste: sono i sentieri che ci avvicinano alle grandi montagne. Il
paesaggio è tanto affascinante da impedirci di cogliere i dettagli e di scoprire i
segreti solo apparentemente nascosti. Abbiamo usato il Sentiero della Foresta per

Wir befinden uns hier in Ciampedìe, im „Reich der Götter“.
An diesen magischen Ort kam der Mensch herauf, um zu arbeiten. Jetzt wandern
wir hier unbeschwert umher und von den alten Zeiten sind nur Sagen geblieben
und die Zeichen, die wir Menschen in diesen außergewöhnlichen Wäldern hinterlassen haben: Wanderwege, auf denen wir uns den großen Bergen nähern. Diese Landschaft ist so bezaubernd, dass sie oft unseren Blick von den Einzelheiten ablenkt
und verhindert, dass wir ihre nur scheinbar verborgenen Geheimnisse entdecken.
Auf einem dieser Wege - dem Waldweg (Sentiero della Foresta) - möchten wir Ihnen

An illustrated course with info points about the high mountain nature, along
the Path n. 540 Ciampedie/Gardeccia, easy, for everyone.
You are at Ciampedie, in the “Field of God”.
Men used to climb up here, in this magical place where we are walking and relaxing,
to work hard. We can learn about the ancient times by reading the legends and the
signs left in these extraordinary forests: they are the paths that lead us closer to
the great mountains. The landscape is so wonderful that we aren’t able to catch all
the details and to discover the secrets that are only apparently hidden. We chose
the Path of the Forest to discover and appreciate these secrets. Follows us...
Il sentiero delle leggende
Leggere o ascoltare una storia seduti all’aria aperta... Si può, grazie
al Sentiero delle leggende, un percorso nel cuore del Catinaccio. Lungo il sentiero si trovano 6 leggende che ci portano nel regno incantato di Re Laurino con un tuffo nelle fiabe e nelle tradizioni del popolo
ladino. Sei leggende che parlano dei luoghi dove camminiamo: Ciampedie, Mugoni, Catinaccio, Laghetto d’Antermoia e Dirupi di Larséc.
È una passeggiata adatta alle famiglie, ai bambini e agli anziani a cui
vogliamo dedicare qualcosa di specifico e diverso, perché la montagna non “appartiene” solo ad alpinisti e scalatori…
Percorso
Da Vigo, salire al Ciampedie in funivia, scendere a piedi fino a Pian Pecèi, poi seguire le
indicazioni. Da Pera, salire con le seggiovie Vajolet 1 e 2 fino a Pian Pecèi. Poi seguire
le indicazioni.

Der Weg der Sagen und Legenden
Was gibt es Schöneres, als das Lesen oder Hören einer Geschichte und dabei an der frischen Luft
auf einer Bank zu sitzen... All das ist dank dem Weg der Sagen und Legenden, eine Wanderroute
im Herzen des Rosengartens, möglich. Entlang des Wanderwegs trifft man auf 6 Legenden, die in
die verzauberte Welt des Reichs von König Laurin und zu den Märchen und Traditionen des ladinischen Volks führen. Sechs Legenden, die von den Orten, die man durchquert, erzählen: Ciampedie,
Mugoni, Catinaccio (Rosengarten), Antermoiasee und der Dirupi di Larséc.
Eine für Familien, Kinder und ältere Personen geeignete Wanderung, denen wir etwas ganz Spezielles
und Ungewöhnliches bieten möchten, da das Gebirge schließlich nicht nur den Alpinisten und Bergsteigern “gehört”.
Die Strecke
Von Vigo aus fahren Sie mit der Seilbahn auf das Hochplateau Ciampedie, steigen zu Fuß bis zum
Pian Pecèi hinab und folgen dann den Wegweisern. Von Pera aus bringen Sie hingegen die Sesselbahnen Vajolet 1 und 2 bis zum Pian Pecèi. Von hier aus folgen Sie den Wegweisern.

The Path of Legends
What’s more beautiful than reading or listening to a story, sitting on a bench in the open air... Here
it is possible, in the Path of the Legends, in the middle of Mount Catinaccio. Along the path, there
are 6 legends that will lead you to the enchanted world of the kingdom of King Laurino, made by
fairy tales and traditions of the Ladins. Six legends that tells about the places you are crossing:
Ciampedie, Mugoni, Catinaccio, Antermoia Lake and the precipice of Larséc.
This hiking is for families, children and old people, to who we want to dedicate something different
and specific, because the mountain doesn’t “belong” only to trekkers and to climbers.
Course
From Vigo, take the cableway to Ciampedie. Walk down to Pian Pecèi, then follow the signals. From
Pera, take the Cableway Vajolet 1 and 2 until Pian Pecèi, then follow the signals.

Der Kinderpark
Ciampedie
Der Park liegt in einer Höhe von 2000 Metern auf
dem Hochplateau Ciampedie. In Begleitung von
Erwachsenen können Kinder jeden Alters den Park
besuchen. Ab 3 Jahren können Kinder auch alleine
im Park bleiben und werden von gut ausgebildeten
Animateuren für eine Stunde, einen halben Tag oder
einen ganzen Tag betreut. Jeden Morgen werden
kreative Spiele organisiert (Zeichnen, Malen, Schminken, Bastelarbeiten) und am Nachmittag wird in der
Gesellschaft des Maskottchens Lauri getanzt oder
den Märchen unserer Berge gelauscht... Ebenfalls am
Nachmittag finden Wanderungen auf dem „Weg der
Tiere“ und auf dem „Weg des Königs Laurin“ statt.

The playground lays at 2000 mt., on the upland
Ciampedie. Children of any age can enter it only with
the presence of an adult. Who is more than 3 can
stay there without parents nor relatives, as is cared
by skilled animators, for an hour, half a day or a whole day. In the mornings, they organize creative games
(drawings, mask-making, small works) and in the afternoons they dance together with the mascot Lauri,
or listen to the “contie” fairy tales of our mountains...
In the afternoons they also walk along the Path of
the Animals and the Path of King Laurino.

Il Kinder Park Ciampedie
Il parco si trova a 2000 metri, sull’altopiano del Ciampedie. I bambini possono accedere al parco a qualsiasi età se accompagnati. Dai 3 anni possono rimanere
da soli, assistiti da preparate animatrici, per un’ora,
mezza giornata o una giornata intera. Al mattino si
organizzano giochi creativi (disegni, trucchi, lavoretti) e nel pomeriggio si balla in compagnia della mascotte Lauri oppure si ascoltano le fiabe delle nostre
montagne... Sempre nel pomeriggio si percorrono il
“sentiero degli animali” ed il “sentiero di re Laurino”.

Proposte escursionistiche
Vorschläge für Touren und Wanderungen
Dall’arrivo della funivia o delle seggiovie, si entra nel Centro escursioni Catinaccio. Le direttrici escursionistiche
principali sono:
• verso Gardeccia con il sentiero nr. 540 (45 min), facile, per tutti.
• verso la zona di Vael (1,5 h), sent. nr. 545 con transito alla Malga Vael oppure il più panoramico Troi de le feide, da
imboccare nei pressi del Rifugio Baita Pra Martin (facili).
Da Gardeccia (Rifugio Gardeccia, Rifugio Stella Alpina) ci si può inoltrare verso i rifugi Vajolet e Preuss (546 – 1h). Da
qui, verso nord si raggiungono il Passo Principe (Rifugio Passo Principe, 584, 1h), proseguendo il Passo Antermoia,
il Lago di Antermoia, il Rifugio Antermoia (584 – 1,5 h); dal Passo Principe è anche possibile salire sulla vetta del
Catinaccio d’Antermoia a 3.004 metri, con percorso attrezzato (585). Innalzandosi invece verso ovest si raggiunge il
Rifugio Re Alberto (542 – 1h), ai piedi delle maestose Torri del Vajolet, il Rifugio Santner al Passo Santner (542 – 30min).
Da qui, su via ferrata (542), si può scendere verso il Rifugio Fronza. Dalla zona di Vael (Rifugio Roda de Vael e Baita
Marino Pederiva), si può proseguire agevolmente in quota verso il rifugio Paolina (20 min) passando per il monumento a Theodor Christomannos (grande aquila in bronzo) e di qui raggiungere il rifugio Fronza (1,5h). Per gli esperti (ed
adeguatamente attrezzati), vi sono le ferrate della Roda de Vael e del Majarè. Interessanti anche gli itinerari con le
traversate attraverso il Passo delle Coronelle dal Rifugio Fronza verso Gardeccia e Vajolet, attraverso il Passo delle
Cigolade fra Vael e Gardeccia e il Passo del Vajolon. Queste sono alcuni degli itinerari possibili. Consultare una cartina o una guida dettagliata prima di affrontare le escursioni, o chiedere consiglio alle guide alpine.
Mit der Ankunft der Seilbahn oder der Sesselbahnen betritt man das Wanderparadies Rosengarten. Die wichtigsten
Wanderrouten sind:
• in Richtung Gardeccia auf dem Weg Nr. 540 (45 min), leichte Wanderung für alle.
• auf dem Weg Nr. 545 in Richtung des Rotwandgebiets (1,5 h) mit Überquerung des Almbodens der Rotwandhütte/
Malga Vael, oder auf dem Aussichtsweg Troi de le feide, (Weg der Schafe), der in der Nähe der Schutzhütte Pra Martin/Baita Pra Martin beginnt (leicht). Von Gardeccia aus (Gardeccia-Hütte, Stella Alpina Hütte) kann man in Richtung
der Vajolet- und der Preuss-Hütte wandern (Weg Nr. 546 – 1h). Geht man von hier aus in Richtung Norden erreicht
man zuerst den Grassleitenpass (Grassleitenpasshütte/Rifugio Passo Principe, Weg Nr. 584 - 1h) und dann den Antermoia-Pass, den Antermoiasee und die Antermoia-Hütte (Weg Nr. 584 - 1,5 h). Vom Grassleitenpass kann man
auch den 3004 Meter hohen Gipfel des Kesselkogels besteigen, und zwar über den gesicherten Klettersteig Nr. 585.
Wenn man hingegen nach Osten aufsteigt, erreicht man am Fuße der majestätischen Vajolet-Türme die Gartlhütte/
Rifugio Re Alberto - (Weg Nr. 542 - 1h) oder die Santner-Hütte am Santnerpass (Weg Nr. 542 - 30 min). Von hier
aus kann man über den Klettersteig (Nr. 542) zur Kölner Hütte/Rifugio Fronza absteigen. Vom Rotwandgebiet aus
(Rotwandhütte/Rifugio Roda de Vael und Pederiva-Hütte/Baita Marino Pederiva) kann man ohne große Anstrengungen zur Paolina-Hütte aufsteigen (20 min), wobei man am für Theodor Christomannos errichteten Denkmal (ein
großer Bronzeadler) vorbeikommt und dann zur Kölner Hütte/Rifugio Fronza gelangt (1,5h). Für erfahrene (und gut
ausgerüstete) Bergsteiger stehen die Klettersteige Rotwand und Masarè zur Verfügung. Sehr interessant sind auch

aber nur einige der möglichen Routen. Konsultieren Sie vor dem Antritt einer Wanderung eine Bergkarte oder einen
detaillierten Reiseführer oder fragen Sie einen der Bergführer um Rat.
Proposals for trips in the mountains
From the arrival of the cableway or of the chair lifts, you get directly at the Centro escursioni Catinaccio (a center
for trips). The main interesting directions are to:
• GARDECCIA, on the path n. 540 (45 min.). Easy, for everyone.
• VAEL area, (1,5 hr.) path n. 545 with passage at Malga Vael; or the most panoramic Troi de le feide, to be entered
near Refuge Baita Pra Martin (easy).
From Gardeccia (Refuge Gardeccia, Refuge Stella Alpina) you can walk to Refuge Vajolet or Refuge Preuss (546 – 1
hr.). From here, northward, you get at Passo Principe (Refuge Passo Principe, 584, 1 hr.), then to Passo Antermoia,
Antermoia Lakes, Refuge Antermoia (584 – 1,5 hr.); from Passo Principe you can get at the peak of Catinaccio d’Antermoia at 3004 mt., on an equipped via (585). Rising westward you get at Refuge Re Alberto (542 – 1 hr.), at the
base of the majestic Torri del Vajoet, Refuge Santner at Passo Santner (542 – 30 min.). From here, on the via ferrata,
you can walk down to Refuge Fronza. From Vael area (Refuge Roda de Vael and Baita Marino Pederiva), you can
easily get high at Refuge Paolina (20 min.), passing near the monument to Theodor Christomannos (a big bronze
eagle), then get to Refuge Fronza (1,5 hr.). For the well-equipped experts, there are the ferrata of Roda de Vael and
of Majarè. Interesting are the courses with the crossings at Passo delle Coronelle from Refuge Fronza towards Gardeccia and Vajolet, trhough Passo delle Cigolade between Vael and Gardeccia and Passo del Vajolon.
