HANNOVER MESSE für Technologietransfer zwischen Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft auf internationalem Niveau. Unter
dem Motto „Bessere Prozesse – mehr Informationen“ zeigen
in diesem Jahr sieben Start-up-Netzwerke, wie Technologietransfer für Jungunternehmer aussehen kann. Indem sie
jeweils mit acht jungen Unternehmen auf die Messe kommen,
untermauern sie, dass Technologietransfer vor Ort einen
erheblichen Mehrwert schafft. Denn innerhalb der
Research & Technology geht es um wichtige Forschungsergebnisse und zukunftsweisende industrielle Entwicklungen,
die unsere Welt einen wichtigen Schritt nach vorn bringen.

“tech transfer – Gateway2Innovation” at HANNOVER MESSE
stands for the transfer of technology from the realm of science
to international business. This year the event will take place
under the motto “Improved Processes – More Information”
and will feature seven start-up networks which provide best
practice examples of how young entrepreneurs employ
and benefit from technology transfer. Each of the networks
taking part will be coming to the show with eight young
entrepreneurs. This underlines the added value provided at
Research & Technology, which facilitates technology transfer
at the event and highlights the important research findings
and future-oriented industrial developments that will secure
us all a better future. On the basis of this broad range of
technological know-how it is possible to bring key players
from different countries together and identify shared goals
and applications, thus addressing the needs of a society
increasingly challenged by globalization and sustainability.

We are today on the cusp of the fourth industrial revolution –
a process that the HANNOVER MESSE trade fair is driving
forward with its lead theme of “Integrated Industry – NEXT
STEPS”. Interaction between science and industry plays a crucial
role here in turning ideas into genuine changes. This is precisely
where tech transfer - Gateway2innovation comes into play:
innovations are presented clearly and in a way that can be
experienced as partners from science and industry meet in
Hall 2 to enter into discussion. The cornerstone of invaluable

Auf der HANNOVER MESSE 2014 veranstaltet die NBank
zusammen mit Partnern aus dem Enterprise Europe Network
die internationale Kooperationsbörse „TECHNOLOGY
COOPERATION DAYS – Industrial Measurement &
Manufacturing Technologies“.
The NBank organizes in cooperation with partners from
the Enterprise Europe Network the international brokerage
event “TECHNOLOGY COOPERATION DAYS – Industrial
Measurement & Manufacturing Technologies” at the
HANNOVER MESSE 2014.
Die Veranstaltung auf dem Stand tech transfer in Halle 2

International Technology Prize of HANNOVER MESSE
This year the competition for the HERMES AWARD will be
held for the eleventh year. For the winners in past years, the
prize has always yielded massive public exposure and a
steady stream of new business contacts for the long term.
The HERMES AWARD exists to promote the speedy translation
of new ideas into marketable products and processes. With
the presentation of the 11 th international HERMES AWARD,
the organizers of the show in 2014 are once again enabling
outstanding innovations to share the stage with the world’s
industry. The coveted award, which comes with a lucrative
PR package worth around 100,000 euros, is given for an
outstanding innovation that is unveiled for the first time at
HANNOVER MESSE 2014.

Managers’ Day
Auf der HANNOVER MESSE 2014 wird es wieder einen Tag der
Ideen- und Innovationsmanager geben. Diese Informationsund Kontaktveranstaltung am 11. April von 9.00 bis 16.00 Uhr
regt branchenübergreifend die Diskussion über Strategien,
Prozesse und Methoden im Ideen- und Innovationsmanagement an. Praxisvorträge von Unternehmen zeigen den Teilnehmern zudem Potenziale für Verbesserungen in Innovationsprozessen auf und ein Workshop im Stile der WorldCafe-Methode fördert den Informations- und Erfahrungsaustausch mit anderen betrieblichen Fach- und Führungskräften über Problemstellungen, Best Practices und neue
Ansätze. Die IHK Hannover führt diese Veranstaltung in
Kooperation mit der Deutschen Messe AG, der NBank, dem
Zentrum für Ideenmanagement und dem Ideennetz durch.
A day for idea and innovation managers will be offered for the
second time at the HANNOVER MESSE 2013. This information
and contact event will be held on April 11th from 9.00 a. m.
until 16.00 p. m. and is meant to encourage trade-spanning

Auf der HANNOVER MESSE 2014 wird es wieder einen Tag der
Ideen- und Innovationsmanager geben. Diese Informationsund Kontaktveranstaltung am 11. April von 9.00 bis 14.00 Uhr
regt branchenübergreifend die Diskussion über Strategien,
Prozesse und Methoden im Ideen- und Innovationsmanagement an. Praxisvorträge von Unternehmen zeigen den
Teilnehmern zudem Potenziale für Verbesserungen in Innovationsprozessen auf, und ein Workshop im Stile der World
Café-Methode fördert den Informations- und Erfahrungsaustausch mit anderen betrieblichen Fach- und Führungskräften
über Problemstellungen, Best Practices und neue Ansätze.
Die IHK Hannover führt diese Veranstaltung in Kooperation
mit der Deutschen Messe AG, der NBank, dem Zentrum für

tech transfer 2014 im Rahmen eines neuen Gemeinschaftsstands. Sieben Netzwerke zeigen vor Ort, welche Unterstützung sie für Unternehmensgründer leisten. Einen besonderen
Stellenwert nehmen dabei rund 40 Start-ups aus den Reihen
der Netzwerke ein, die sich an den fünf Tagen nacheinander
vorstellen. Sie zeigen nicht nur wegweisende Transfers
aus der Wissenschaft und Forschung, sondern geben auch
praktische Tipps aus eigener Erfahrung für die ersten Schritte
hin zum eigenen Unternehmen. Die Themengebiete der
Start-ups reichen dabei von Energie, Umwelt, Zulieferung
und Automation bis hin zu Mobilität und urbanen Lösungen.

direct form at a new joint display stand, where seven networks
show what support they can offer to new businesses. Special
focus: on approx. 40 start-ups from the networks successively
introducing themselves over the five days. As well as demonstrating pioneering transfers from science and research, they
will also draw on their own experience to give practical
advice on taking the first steps to starting a business. The fields
covered by the start-ups range from energy, environment,

Die im Jahr 1999 gegründete Abteilung Fraunhofer Venture
sieht sich sowohl als Partner von Gründern, Start-ups und
Fraunhofer-Instituten als auch von Industrie und Kapitalgebern. Sie bietet jungen Unternehmen durch den Zugang zu
Fraunhofer-Technologien, Infrastruktur und Know-how mit
über 5.200 Patentfamilien die Möglichkeit, sich mit ihren
Produkten auf dem Markt schneller und besser zu etablieren.
Zum Leistungsspektrum zählen die Gründung, der Technologietransfer, die Finanzierung und das Beteiligungsmanagement.

Die Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft leistet Beiträge zur Lösung
großer und drängender Fragen von Gesellschaft, Wissenschaft
und Wirtschaft durch wissenschaftliche Spitzenleistungen in
sechs Forschungsbereichen: Energie, Erde und Umwelt, Gesundheit, Schlüsseltechnologien, Struktur der Materie sowie
Luftfahrt, Raumfahrt und Verkehr. Die Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft ist mit fast 36.000 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern
in 18 Forschungszentren und einem Jahresbudget von rund
3,8 Milliarden Euro die größte Wissenschaftsorganisation
Deutschlands. Zu den Helmholtz-Zentren gehören z. B. das

Die Leibniz-Gemeinschaft verbindet 89 selbstständige
Institute, die erkenntnis- und anwendungsorientierte Grundlagenforschung zu gesellschaftlich, ökonomisch und ökologisch relevanten Fragestellungen bearbeiten. Der Bereich
Leibniz-Transfer koordiniert, berät und unterstützt die eigenständigen Forschungseinrichtungen u. a. bei deren Wissenstransfer in die Wirtschaft sowie bei der Realisierung von
Ausgründungen.
The Leibniz Association connects for 89 independent research
institutions, which are conducting knowledge-driven and
applied basic research addressing issues of social, economic
and ecological relevance. The Leibniz Transfer Department
coordinates, advises and supports the Leibniz institutions’
activities amongst others with regards to knowledge transfer
and company start-ups.

ist eine Forschungsuniversität mit intensiver Grundlagenforschung, hoher Ingenieurskompetenz und enger Kooperation
zwischen den verschiedenen Disziplinen. Das mit externen
Firmenpartnern und Fördereinrichtungen abgewickelte
Projektvolumen erreicht über 1/3 der staatlichen Basisfinanzierung (2012: 72 bzw. 196 Mio. €). Die TU Wien ist bestrebt,
ihr Know-how und ihre Erfindungen gemeinsam mit
etablierten Unternehmen oder in Start-ups in Produkte und
Dienstleistungen umzusetzen.
