SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Für beste Leistung des Geräts lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung bitte aufmerksam durch, machen Sie
sich mit den Funktionen für viele Jahre störungsfreien Betrieb vertraut.
Wichtige Hinweise
Bewahren Sie diese Sicherheits- und Bedienungshinweise für späteres Nachschlagen auf.
Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht Tropfwasser oder Spritzwasser aus und stellen Sie keine mit Wasser
gefüllten Gegenstände (wie Vasen) auf dem Gerät ab. Installieren Sie das Gerät nicht an folgenden
Orten:
* - In direkter Sonneneinstrahlung oder in unmittelbarer Nähe von Heizgeräten, auf anderen
Stereoanlagen, die Wärme abgeben.

Blockieren Sie die Ventilationsöffnungen nicht mit Zeitungen, Tischtüchern, Gardinen usw. Benutzen
Sie das Gerät nur in moderaten Klimazonen.
Bedienen Sie Schalter und Knöpfe nur, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben.
Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem Einschalten des Geräts, dass das Netzkabel korrekt angeschlossen ist.
Der Netzstecker dient dem Abtrennen des Geräts vom Stromnetz und muss jederzeit frei zugänglich
sein. Zum vollständigen Abtrennen des Geräts vom Stromnetz müssen Sie den Netzstecker ziehen.
Starke elektromagnetische Störungen können zu Fehlfunktionen führen. Stellen Sie das Gerät in
diesem Fall entsprechend den Anleitungen zurück. Führt dies nicht zum Erfolg, so benutzen Sie das
Gerät bitte an einem andern Standort.
Öffnen Sie das Gerätegehäuse nicht; es befinden sich keine von Ihnen wartbaren Teile im Gerät.

Hinweis: Bei längerer Benutzung kann sich das Gerät erwärmen. Das ist völlig normal und stellt kein
Problem dar. Das Gerät enthält einen Mikroprozessor, der bei externen elektrischen Störungen oder
elektrostatischen Entladungen Fehlfunktionen verursachen kann. Bei Fehlfunktionen ziehen Sie
vorübergehend den Netzstecker und schließen Sie das Gerät dann wieder an. Übermäßiger

BATTERIEN IN FERNBEDIENUNG EINSETZEN
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach. Setzen Sie eine CR2032 Knopfzelle in die
Fernbedienung ein, achten Sie auf die korrekte Polarität (+ und -) im
Batteriefach.
Setzen Sie das Batteriefach wieder ein und lassen Sie es einrasten.
Hinweis: Bei längerer Nichtbenutzung der Fernbedienung wird die
Batterie schwach und die Fernbedienung funktioniert nicht mehr;
tauschen Sie in diesem Fall die Batterie aus.

Disc aus dem Cover nehmen und laden.
* Berühren Sie nicht die Abspieloberfläche.
* Bringen Sie keine Aufkleber an.
* Biegen Sie Discs nicht.
3. Aufbewahrung
* Bewahren Sie Discs in ihrem Cover auf.
* Setzen Sie Discs nicht direkter Sonneneinstrahlung oder
hohen Temperaturen, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit oder Staub
aus.
4. Disc reinigen
* Wischen Sie Staub und Fingerabdrücke mit einem weichen Tuch ab.
* Wischen Sie von der Mitte nach außen.

* Benutzen Sie keine Lösungsmittel, Reinigungsmittel für Schallplatten oder Anti-Statikspray.
* Schließen Sie stets das CD-Laufwerk, damit die Tonabnehmerlinse nicht verstaubt.
* Berühren Sie die Tonabnehmerlinse nicht.
BEDIENUNGSHINWEISE
Beim ersten Anschluss des Geräts drücken Sie Ein/Aus vorn auf dem Gerät, es begibt sich in den
Stand-by-Modus und das Display leuchtet rot. Drücken Sie nun STANDBY/ON auf dem Gerät oder auf
der Fernbedienung, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Das Display leuchtet blau.
Zum vollständigen Trennen des Geräts vom Stromnetz müssen Sie den Netzstecker ziehen.
EIN- UND AUSSCHALTEN (STAND-BY-MODUS)
1. Drücken Sie STANDBY/ON auf dem Gerät oder auf der Fernbedienung, um das Gerät
einzuschalten.
2. Wählen Sie die Eingangsquelle (CD, USB, CARD, iPod, AUX oder TUNER), drücken Sie hierzu
FUNCTION. Die entsprechende Anzeige leuchtet auf.
3. Stellen Sie die Lautstärke mit VOLUME (+ oder -) auf dem Gerät oder VOLUME (+ oder -) auf der
Fernbedienung ein.
4. Drücken Sie erneut STANDBY/ON, um das Gerät auszuschalten.
Hinweis:
1. Liegt im CD/USB / SD/MMC / iPod Modus kein Signal an, so schaltet sich das Gerät nach 15
Minuten automatisch aus.
2. Im Stand-by-Modus drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste, um die Hintergrundbeleuchtung des Displays
für 10 Sekunden einzuschalten.
3. Schalten Sie das Gerät zum Energiesparen aus, wenn Sie es nicht benutzen.
UHR EINSTELLEN
Im Stand-by-Modus:
1. Halten Sie ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. gedrückt, um zwischen dem 12- und 24-Stundenformat umzuschalten.
2. Drücken Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts), um die Einstellung des 12- oder
24-Stundenmodus vorzunehmen.
3. Drücken Sie erneut ID3/MEM/C-ADJ., die STUNDEN blinken; drücken Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH
(aufwärts oder abwärts) zum Einstellen der STUNDEN.
4. Drücken Sie ID3/MEM/C-ADJ., die MINUTEN blinken; drücken Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts
oder abwärts) zum Einstellen der MINUTEN.
5. Drücken Sie ID3/MEM/C-ADJ., um die Einstellung zu bestätigen.
6. Die Einstellungen werden gelöscht, wenn Sie für 10 Sekunden keine Taste drücken.
TIMER EINSTELLEN (auf der Fernbedienung)
Im Stand-by-Modus oder bei eingeschaltetem Gerät:
1. Nach dem Einstellen der Uhrzeit halten Sie TIMER für einige Sekunden gedrückt, „
ON“ und
„00:00“ wird angezeigt und die STUNDEN blinken. (F1)
2. Drücken Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts) zum Einstellen der STUNDEN.
3. Drücken Sie erneut TIMER, die MINUTEN blinken; drücken Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder
abwärts) zum Einstellen der MINUTEN.
4. Drücken Sie TIMER zur Bestätigung des Einschalt-Timers.
5. „TIMER ON“, „"
OFF“ wird angezeigt und die STUNDEN blinken. (F2)
6. Wiederholen Sie die vorstehenden Schritte 2 und 3, dann drücken Sie TIMER zur Bestätigung des
Ausschalt-Timers.
7. Nun blinkt „TUNER“ im Display; mit SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts) stellen Sie
„TUNER, CD, USB, CARD oder iPod“ ein.
8. Drücken Sie erneut TIMER, „VOL-13“ blinkt im Display; stellen Sie die Lautstärke mit SKIP/TUNE
SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts) ein.
9. Die Einstellungen werden gelöscht, wenn Sie für 10 Sekunden keine Taste drücken.
10. Nach dem Einstellen des Einschalt- und Ausschalt-Timers drücken Sie TIMER, „ “ wird angezeigt.
11. Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch zur Einschaltzeit ein und zur Ausschaltzeit wieder aus.

Hinweis: Wird im Display „ERROR“ während der Einstellung des Einschalt-Timers angezeigt, so betrifft
dies sowohl den Einschalt- wie auch den Ausschalt-Timer. Stellen Sie in diesem Fall den
Ausschalt-Timer zuerst ein.
EQ-STEUERUNG (auf der Fernbedienung)
Hier wird die EQ-Voreinstellung angezeigt. Drücken Sie EQ zum Durchlaufen der Einstellungen wie
folgt:
SLEEPTIMER EINSTELLEN (auf der Fernbedienung)
1. Zum Einschlafen mit Musik drücken Sie SLEEP.
2. Wählen Sie TUNER, CD/MP3, USB, SD/MMC, iPod oder AUX zur automatischen Abschaltung nach
90, 80, 70 … 10 Minuten.
FUNKTIONSUMSCHALTUNG
Drücken Sie die Taste zum Durchlaufen der Eingangsquellen. Das Display ändert sich wie folgt:
RADIO
1. Drücken Sie FUNCTION auf dem Gerät (oder auf der Fernbedienung) zur Auswahl des UKW-Radios
als TUNER.
2. Mit SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts) stellen Sie die Frequenz auf dem Gerät (oder auf
der Fernbedienung) ein.
Mono/Stereo
Das Gerät ist nur für UKW-Empfang ausgelegt.
1. Zur Auswahl eines UKW-Senders drücken Sie einmal SELECT/MONO/ST. „
“ wird bei
klarem Empfang angezeigt.
2. Drücken Sie erneut SELECT/MONO/ST., damit erlischt die UKW-Stereoanzeige und der
UKW-Sender wird in MONO wiedergegeben.
Automatische Sendersuche
1. Halten Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts) für einige Sekunden gedrückt. Der Tuner
sucht automatisch nach einem Sender mit ausreichender Signalstärke.
2. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang zum Einstellen eines anderen Senders.
Senderspeicher belegen
Sie können bis zu 30 UKW-Sender speichern.
1. Stellen Sie den gewünschten Sender ein.
2. Drücken Sie ID3/MEM/C-ADJ.
3. Drücken Sie PRESET/FOLDER/ARROW (aufwärts oder abwärts) zur Auswahl des gewünschten
Senderspeichers.
4. Drücken Sie erneut ID3/MEM/C-ADJ., um Ihre Auswahl zu bestätigen.
5. Zur Belegung weiterer Senderspeicher wiederholen Sie die Schritte 2 bis 4.
6. Zur Änderung der Senderspeicher wiederholen Sie die Schritte 2 bis 4.

Hinweis:
1. Die Speicherung eines neuen Senders überschreibt den zuvor hier gespeicherten Sender.
2. Der Senderspeicher wird beim Ausschalten des Geräts nicht gelöscht. Speichern Sie alle Ihre
gewünschten Sender.
3. Im Stand-by-Modus halten Sie PLAY/PAUSE/ENTER zum Löschen aller Senderspeicher gedrückt.
Senderspeicher aufrufen
1. Drücken Sie PRESET/FOLDER/ARROW (aufwärts oder abwärts) zur Auswahl des gewünschten
Senderspeichers.
2. Die Nummer des Senderspeichers mit der dazugehörigen Frequenz wird angezeigt.
UKW-Antenne
Wickeln Sie die UKW-Antenne für besten UKW-Empfang vollständig ab.
CD/MP3/WMA
CDs hören (CD/MP3/WMA)
1. Drücken Sie FUNCTION auf dem Gerät und wählen Sie CD.
2. Drücken Sie CD OPEN/CLOSE auf dem Gerät (oder auf der Fernbedienung), um das CD-Laufwerk
zu öffnen. (F3)
3. Legen Sie eine CD/MP3 Disc ein und drücken Sie OPEN/CLOSE zum Schließen des CD-Laufwerks.
Das Gerät liest die CD/MP3 Disc.
HINWEIS:
(1) Das Gerät kann CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 und WMA Discs abspielen.
(2) 8 cm und Multi-Session MP3 Discs können gelesen werden.
(3) Abtastrate für MP3 und WMA. (a). MP3 Bitrate: 8 - 256 kbit/s. (b). WMA Bitrate: 8 - 192 kbit/s.
(4) Bis zu 99 Ordner mit 999 Tracks können gelesen werden.
(5) Kann eine Disc nicht gelesen werden, so wird „NO DISC“ angezeigt. (F4)
Gesamte CD/MP3/WMA abspielen
- CD
1. Legen Sie die CD in das CD-Laufwerk ein, die Anzahl der Ordner und Tracks wird gelesen. Der erste
Track der CD wird automatisch wiedergegeben. (F5)
2. Drücken Sie PLAY/PAUSE, die vergangene Spielzeit blinkt. (F6)
3. Drücken Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts) zur Auswahl eines anderen Tracks,
halten Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts) zum schnellen Vorlauf oder Rücklauf
durch einen Track gedrückt.
4. Zum Fortsetzen der Wiedergabe drücken Sie PLAY/PAUSE.
5. Zum Beenden der Wiedergabe drücken Sie STOP/MENU auf dem Gerät (oder auf der
Fernbedienung).
- MP3/WMA
1. Legen Sie die MP3/WMA Disc in das CD-Laufwerk ein, die Anzahl der Ordner und Tracks wird
gelesen. Der erste Track der MP3/WMA Disc wird automatisch wiedergegeben. (F7)
2. Drücken Sie PLAY/PAUSE, die vergangene Spielzeit blinkt. (F8)
3. Drücken Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts) zur Auswahl eines anderen Tracks.
Halten Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts) zum schnellen Vorlauf oder Rücklauf durch
einen Track gedrückt.
4. Zum Fortsetzen der Wiedergabe drücken Sie PLAY/PAUSE.
DE-7
5. Zur Auswahl eines anderen Albums drücken Sie PRESET/FOLDER/ARROW (aufwärts oder
abwärts).
6. Zum Beenden der Wiedergabe drücken Sie STOP/MENU auf dem Gerät (oder auf der
Fernbedienung).
Hinweis: Bei Fehlfunktionen ziehen Sie vorübergehend den Netzstecker.
ID3-TAGS
Im MP3/WMA Wiedergabemodus:
1. Drücken Sie ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. zum Aufrufen der ID3-Funktion.
2. Liegen für die MP3/WMA Datei ID3-Informationen vor, so werden automatisch TITEL, INTERPRET
und ALBUM angezeigt.
3. Drücken Sie erneut ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. Das Gerät setzt die Normalwiedergabe fort.
USB-/SD-SPEICHERMEDIUM
Im Stand-by-Modus:
1. Schließen Sie das USB-Speichermedium oder die SD/MMC-Karte an und drücken Sie STANDBY auf
dem Gerät (oder auf der Fernbedienung), um das Gerät einzuschalten.
2. Drücken Sie FUNCTION auf dem Gerät (oder auf der Fernbedienung) zur Auswahl von USB oder
SD/MMC. Das Gerät liest die Anzahl der Ordner und Dateien. Die Wiedergabe des ersten Titels wird
gestartet. Im Display werden die aktuelle Tracknummer und die vergangene Spielzeit angezeigt. (F9)
3. Enthält Ihr USB-Speichermedium mehr als einen Ordner, so gehen Sie wie folgt vor.
a. Drücken Sie PRESET/FOLDER/ARROW (aufwärts oder abwärts) zur Auswahl des Ordners.
b. Drücken Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts) zur Auswahl des Musiktitels im
Ordner.
4. Liegen für die MP3/WMA Datei ID3-Informationen vor, so gehen Sie wie folgt vor.
a. Im MP3 oder WMA Wiedergabemodus drücken Sie ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. Im Display wird „ID3
ON“ angezeigt, dann werden mit 64 Schriftzeichen in Laufschrift für TITEL, INTERPRET oder
ALBUM angezeigt.
b. Drücken Sie erneut ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. Im Display wird „ID3 OFF“ angezeigt und das Gerät kehrt
zur Normalwiedergabe zurück.
Hinweis:
1. Das Gerät unterstützt in diesem Modus nur MP3 und WMA.
2. Das Gerät unterstützt die meisten USB-Speichermedien und SD/MMC/SDHC-Karten (bis zu 32 GB
für SDHC). Speichergeräte mit größerer Kapazität können nicht abgespielt werden (oder benötigen
eine sehr lange Ladezeit).
3. USB Version 1.1 und 2.0 werden unterstützt.
4. „Dual voltage-MMC“ und „MMC-Plus“ Karten werden nicht unterstützt.
5. DRM-geschützte WMA-Dateien werden nicht unterstützt.
Gesamtes Speichermedium wiedergeben
1. Zur Unterbrechung der Wiedergabe drücken Sie PLAY/PAUSE. Die vergangene Spielzeit blinkt.

2. Zum Fortsetzen der Wiedergabe drücken Sie erneut PLAY/PAUSE.
3. Zum Beenden der Wiedergabe drücken Sie STOP/MENU.

Hinweis: Achten Sie darauf, dass das USB-Speichermedium oder die SD-Karte korrekt im
Stand-by-Modus angeschlossen wird, damit weder Gerät noch Speichermedium beschädigt werden.

- CD
1. Drücken Sie einmal REPEAT, REPEAT wird angezeigt. Das Gerät wiederholt den aktuellen Track.

2. Drücken Sie zweimal REPEAT, REPEAT ALL wird angezeigt. Das Gerät wiederholt alle Tracks. (F12)
3. Drücken Sie ein drittes Mal REPEAT, um die Wiederholungsfunktion zu verlassen.
- MP3/WMA
1. Drücken Sie einmal REPEAT, REPEAT wird angezeigt. Das Gerät wiederholt den aktuellen Track.

2. Drücken Sie zweimal REPEAT, REPEAT ALL wird angezeigt. Das Gerät wiederholt alle Tracks. (F14)
3. Drücken Sie dreimal REPEAT, REPEAT ALBUM wird angezeigt. Das Gerät wiederholt das aktuelle

4. Drücken Sie ein viertes Mal REPEAT, um die Wiederholungsfunktion zu verlassen.

PROGRAMMMODUS
Sie können ein eigenes Programm mit bis zu 32 Tracks im CD-Modus oder 64 Tracks im
MP3/WMA/USB/SD Modus in beliebiger Reihenfolge zusammenstellen. Der Programmmodus wird im
Stoppmodus aktiviert.
1. Zur Programmierung gehen Sie wie folgt vor

1) Drücken Sie ID3/MEM/C-ADJ., um in den Programmmodus umzuschalten. (F18)
2) Drücken Sie SKIP/TUNER SEARCH (aufwärts oder abwärts), um die Tracknummer einzustellen.
3) Drücken Sie ID3/MEM/C-ADJ., um die Tracknummer zu bestätigen.
- MP3/WMA/USB/SD
1) Drücken Sie ID3/MEM/C-ADJ., um in den Programmmodus umzuschalten. Die Albumnummer blinkt.

2. PROGRAMMWIEDERGABE

Programms wiederzugeben. Nach der Wiedergabe aller Tracks werden die Gesamtzahl der Tracks und
die Spielzeit der CD/MP3/WMA Tracks angezeigt.
3. PROGRAMM ABBRECHEN
1. Drücken Sie einmal STOP/MENU oder öffnen Sie das CD-Laufwerk, um den Programmspeicher zu
löschen.
2. Mit einem neuen Programm wird das alte Programm überschrieben.
Hinweis: Im Programmmodus:
1. Drücken Sie einmal REPEAT, REPEAT wird im Display angezeigt. Das Gerät wiederholt den
aktuellen Track.
2. Drücken Sie zweimal REPEAT, REPEAT ALL wird im Display angezeigt. Das Gerät wiederholt das
Programm.
3. Drücken Sie ein drittes Mal REPEAT, um zur normalen Programmwiedergabe zurückzukehren.
iPhone/iPod
Im Stand-by-Modus:
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, dann drücken Sie FUNCTION zum Aufrufen des iPod-Modus.
2. Drücken Sie einmal iPod OPEN/CLOSE auf dem Gerät, um das iPod-Fach zu öffnen.
3. Setzen Sie iPhone/iPod in das iPod Dock auf der linken Seite des Geräts ein. Die iPod-Anzeige
leuchtet auf. (F21)
Im iPhone/iPod-Modus:
1. Drücken Sie einmal PLAY/PAUSE, um die iPhone/iPod Wiedergabe zu starten. Stellen Sie die
Lautstärke mit VOLUME (+ oder -) ein. Zum Beenden der Wiedergabe drücken Sie STOP/MENU
(nur iPod).
2. Drücken Sie PLAY/PAUSE, um die Wiedergabe zu unterbrechen. Zum Fortsetzen der Wiedergabe
drücken Sie erneut PLAY/PAUSE.
3. Um zum nächsten oder vorherigen Titel zu springen, drücken Sie SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (aufwärts
oder abwärts).
4. Drücken Sie REPEAT oder RANDOM auf der Fernbedienung, um den Titel auf dem iPhone/iPod zu
wiederholen bzw. um die Titel in zufälliger Reihenfolge wiederzugeben.
Hinweis:
1. iPod touch Version 1.1.4 oder höher unterstützt die Wiederholungs- und Zufallsfunktion.
2. Bei gesperrtem Bildschirm von iPod touch und iPhone stehen obige Funktionen weiterhin zur
Verfügung.
Im iPhone/iPod Menümodus:
Hinweis: Rufen Sie das Musikmenü von iPod touch und iPhone zunächst manuell auf.
1. Im iPod-Modus drücken Sie STOP/MENU auf dem Gerät (oder auf der Fernbedienung), um den
iPhone/iPod Menümodus aufzurufen. Zur Auswahl des Menüs gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Musik > Extras > Foto Import (nicht auf iPod Mini) > Einstellungen > Titel mischen >
Hintergrundbeleuchtung > Wiedergabe wird auf dem iPod angezeigt.
2. Drücken Sie PRESET/FOLDER/ARROW (aufwärts oder abwärts) auf der Fernbedienung, um das
Menü zu wählen.

Menü aufzurufen.

5. Zur Rückkehr in das iPod-Menü drücken Sie STOP/MENU auf dem Gerät (oder auf der

iPhone/iPod laden:
1. iPhone/iPod haben integrierte Akkus, die geladen werden müssen.
2. Laden Sie iPhone/iPod automatisch im Stand-by- oder eingeschalteten Modus.
Hinweis:
1. Der iPhone/iPod Akku ist nach einer Stunde zu 80 % und nach einigen Stunden voll geladen.
Während der Musikwiedergabe dauert der Ladezyklus länger.
2. Laden Sie möglichst nicht im TUNER-Modus. Das kann zu Empfangsstörungen führen.
3. Sie können iPhone/iPod über das Gerät, die Fernbedienung oder iPhone/iPod selbst steuern,
wenn er sich im „iPod“ oder „iPod MENÜ“ Modus befindet.
4. Schließen Sie iPhone/iPod stets im Stand-by-Modus an, anderenfalls kann es zu Beschädigungen
des Geräts oder iPhone/iPod kommen.
AUX IN
Der AUX-Eingang befindet sich auf der linken Seite des Geräts. Mit einem 3,5 mm Stereokabel
schließen Sie ein externes Gerät an.
1. Drücken Sie FUNCTION auf dem Gerät (oder auf der Fernbedienung) zur Auswahl von AUX.
2. Drücken Sie VOLUME (+ oder -), um die Lautstärke einzustellen.
Hinweis: Das Stereokabel gehört nicht zum Lieferumfang.

OPERATING THE UNIT
When you first plug the unit into the AC outlet, then press the power switch on the bottom of the unit, the unit will be in
standby mode, the black light of standby is red. You can now press the STANDBY/ON button on the unit or on the
remote control to switch the unit ON. The black light of the multi function display will light on blue.
Pull the AC plug out of the wall socket if you want to switch off completely.
POWER/STANDBY
1. Press the STANDBY/ON button on the unit or on the remote control to switch the unit on.
2. Select the sound source (CD, USB, CARD, iPod, AUX or TUNER) by pressing the FUNCTION button. The
corresponding display will light up.
3. Adjust the volume with the VOLUME (+ or -) button on the unit or VOLUME (+ or -) button on the remote
control.
4. Press the STANDBY/ON button again to turn off the unit.
Note:
1. If there is no signal under the CD/USB DEVICES/ SD & MMC CARD/ iPod mode, the main unit will be switched off
within 15 minutes automatically.
2. During in standby mode, press any button/key can make the display light for 10 seconds.
3. Please turn the main switch off to save energy, when you do not use the unit.
CLOCK SETTING
During in the STANDBY mode.
1. Press and hold the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button until the time displays will change to 12-hour(or 24-hour) digit and
flash.
2. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button to adjust 12-hour or 24-hour digit.
3. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button again, the HOUR digit will flash on the display, press the SKIP/TUNE
SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button to adjust HOUR digit.
4. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button once more, the MINUTE digit will flash on the display, press the SKIP/TUNE
SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button to adjust MINUTE digit.
5. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button again to confirm the time.
6. Each enable state as shown above will be cleared if the key is not pushed in10 seconds.
TIMER SETTING(on the remote control)
During in the STANDBY OFF/ON mode.
1. After adjusting clock, press the TIMER button for a few seconds, " ON" and "00:00" appears on the display
and the HOUR digit flashes.(F1)
2. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button to adjust it.
3. Press the TIMER button again, the MINUTE digit will start flashing, adjust it by pressing the SKIP/TUNE
SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button.
4. Press the TIMER button once more to confirm and order TIMER ON time.
5. After adjusting "TIMER ON", "
OFF" appears on the display and the HOUR digit flashes.(F2)
6. Repeat the above steps 2 to 3, and then press the TIMER button once more to confirm and order TIMER OFF time.
7. Now the "TUNER" appears on the display with flashing, adjust “TUNER, CD, USB, CARD or iPod" by pressing
the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button.
8. Press the TIMER button again, the timer "VOL-13” indicator appears on the display and flashes, adjust the timer
volume high or low by pressing the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button.
9. Each enable state as shown above will be cleared if the button is not pushed in 10 seconds.
10. After adjusting "TIMER ON" and "TIMER OFF", press the TIMER button, "
" appears on the display.
11. The unit will be switched on automatically at "TIMER ON" order and start playing, the unit will be switched off
automatically at "TIMER OFF" order.
Note: If the display shows "ERROR" while you set the “TIMER ON”, it means both “TIMER ON” and “TIMER OFF” is
the same. In this case, please go to “TIMER OFF” to set the off time first.

Mono/Stereo Select
This unit can receive the FM mode only.
1. When you want to select FM stereo station, press the SELECT/MONO/ST. button once only.

" indicator will appear on the display that the reception is at its best.
2. When you press the SELECT/MONO/ST. button once again, the FM STEREO indicator will turn off & switch to MONO FM
status.
Automatic Tuning
1. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button for a few seconds, then release the button. The tuner will
automatically search the first station of sufficient signal strength.
2. Repeat above procedure if you wish to select another station.
Programming preset stations
You can also preset stations of your choice and store up to 30 FM stations in its memory.
1. Tune to the required station.
2. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button.
3. Press the PRESET/FOLDER /ARROW (UP or DOWN) button for your desired station number.
4. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button again to confirm your selection.
5. To program more stations into memory, repeat the above steps 2 to 4.
6. To change the stored preset stations, repeat the above steps 2 to 4.
Notes:
1. Storing a new station into a preset location will erase the previously stored station in that location.
2. Power off will not erase the memory of preset stations. Perform the stations presetting procedures again to store
the stations.
3. During the unit in STANDBY mode, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/ENTER button to erase all preset memory.
Selecting the Preset Stations
1. Press the PRESET/FOLDER/ARROW (UP or DOWN) button to select the desired preset station number.
2. The numeric location of that preset station is displayed along with the corresponding frequency.
FM Antenna
Extend the FM antenna for better FM reception.
CD/MP3/WMA OPERATION
Listening To Compact Disc (CD/MP3/WMA)
1. Press the FUNCTION button on the unit to select the CD mode.
2. Press the CD OPEN/CLOSE button on the main unit (or remote control) , and then the CD door will open
automatically.(F3)
3. Insert the CD/MP3 disc into the CD compartment, press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the CD door. The
main unit will read the CD/MP3 disc automatically.
NOTE: (1) This unit can play CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 and WMA discs.
(2) It can read " 8 cm " and " Multi Section " MP3 DISC.
(3) The "Playback Transfer Rate" in MP3 and WMA. (a). In MP3, transfer bit rate : 8 - 256 kbps. (b). In WMA,
transfer bit rate : 8 - 192kbps.
(4) The "Max Readable 99 folders and 999 tracks".
(5) If no disc or can`t read TOC, NO DISC will be displayed.(F4)

Playing The Entire CD/MP3/WMA
- CD
1. Insert the CD disc into the CD compartment, the main unit will automatically read the total number of the folders
and tracks at the same time. Then the unit will play the first track of the CD disc automatically.(F5)
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once again, the time elapsed indicator will flash.(F6)
3. Press SKIP/TUNE SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button once to change Track NO., press and hold the SKIP/TUNE
SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button once to skip fast forward or backward of each song.
4. To resume playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button once more again.
5. To stop playback, press the STOP/MENU button once on the unit (or remote control).

- MP3/WMA
1. Insert the MP3/WMA disc into the CD compartment, the main unit will automatically read the total number of the
folders and tracks at the same time. Then the unit will play the first track of the MP3/WMA disc automatically.(F7)
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once again, the time elapsed indicator will flash.(F8)
3. To change Track NO., Press SKIP/TUNE SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button once. Press and hold the SKIP/TUNE
SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button once to skip fast forward or backward of each song.
4. To resume playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button once more again.

5. To change the ALBUM NO., press the PRESET/FOLDER/ARROW (UP or DOWN) button once.
6. To stop playback, press the STOP button once on the unit (or remote control).

Note: If the main unit is not working properly, disconnect the power source and then reconnect it again
ID3 OPERATION
During in the MP3/WMA mode
1. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button once to open the ID3 function.
2. If the MP3/WMA file is written “ID3”, it will automatically search the information of “TITLE NAME”, “ARTIST NAME”
and “ALBUM NAME” indicated on the display .
3. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button again. Then the unit will resume to play normally.
USB/SD CARD OPERATION
During in the STANDBY mode
1. Insert the USB DEVICE or SD/MMC CARD, and then press the STANDBY button on the main unit (or remote
control) to power"ON" the unit.
2. Press the FUNCTION button on the main unit (or remote control) to select the USB or SD/MMC mode. The main
unit will automatically read the total number of the folders and tracks at the same time. Then playback starts with
the first track. The display shows the current track number and its elapsed time.(F9)
3. If the USB memory device more than one folder.
a. Press the PRESET/FOLDER/ARROW (UP or DOWN) button to select each folder.
b. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button to select current track in desired folder.
4. If the MP3 and WMA are written in "ID3".
a. During the unit in the MP3 or WMA playing. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button once. The display will show
a "ID3 ON", and then it will automatically search more than 64 letters for "TITLE NAME", "ARTIST NAME" or
"ALBUM NAME" which move from the right corner to the left corner on the display continuously.
b. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button once again. The display will show a "ID3 OFF", and then the main unit
will play normally.
Note: 1. The main unit can play MP3 and WMA only in this mode.
2. This unit can support most of USB devices and SD/MMC/SDHC cards (up-to 32GB memory capacity for
SDHC). It cannot access (or, need longer time to access) those devices with big memory capacity.
3. It can support USB version 1.1 and 2.0.
4. Not support all kinds of “ dual voltage-MMC” card nor “MMC-Plus” card.
5. The main unit does not support the WMA file which is protected “DRM FILE”.
Playing The Entire flash disc
1. To interrupt playback , press the PLAY/PAUSE button. The time elapsed indicator will flash.(F10)
2. To resume playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button again.
3. To stop playback, press the STOP/MENU button.

Note : In any time, the USB DEVICE or SD CARD must be fixed well under in the STANDBY mode to avoid the main
unit and USB DEVICE or SD CARD were damaged.
REPEAT PLAY
CD
1. Press the REPEAT button once , REPEAT is displayed. The main unit will play the current track repeatedly.(F11)
2. Press the REPEAT button twice, REPEAT ALL is displayed. The main unit will play all tracks repeatedly.(F12)
3. Press the REPEAT button thrice, REPEAT function will be off.

1. Press the REPEAT button once , then REPEAT is displayed. It will play the current track repeatedly.(F13)
2. Press the REPEAT button twice, REPEAT ALL is displayed. It will play all tracks repeatedly.(F14)

1. Press the RANDOM button once , and then RANDOM is displayed.(F16)
2. Press the RANDOM button once again, and then resume to normally play.
INTRO PLAY(on the remote control)
1. Press the INTRO button once, and then INTRO is displayed. The main unit will play the first 10 seconds of each
track.(F17)
2. Press the INTRO button twice, and then resume to normal play.

PROGRAM MODE
User can make the program up to 32 tracks in CD mode or 64 tracks in MP3/WMA/USB/SD CARD mode in any
desired order. Program mode is activated while in stop mode.
1. How to play the program

1) Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button, shift to PROGRAM mode.(F18)
2) Press the SKIP/TUNER SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button, the track number will be changed.

2. PROGRAM PLAY
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button on the unit (or remote control), it will be play starting with the first track of the
program. When all tracks have been played, the unit display will show the number of tracks and the playing time of
the CD/MP3/WMA tracks.
3. CANCEL PROGRAM
1. Press the STOP/MENU button once, or open the CD tray door and close it again then the memory will be erased.
2. Set a new program, the existing one will be cleared.
Note : During in the program mode.
1. Press the "REPEAT" button once, the "REPEAT" indicator will light on the display. Then the main unit will repeat
the current track.
2. Press the "REPEAT" button twice, the "REPEAT ALL" will light on the display. Then the main unit will repeat all
the total number of tracks.
3. Press the "REPEAT" button once more again. The main unit will return to play the program normally.
iPhone/iPod OPERATION
During the unit in STANDBY mode:
1. Power on the main unit, and then press the FUNCTION button to the iPod mode.
1. P ress the iPod OPEN/CLOSE button once on the unit first to open the iPod door.
2. Insert the iPhone/iPod players in the iPod dock bracket on the left side of the main unit fixedly. The iPod indicator
will appear on the main unit display. (F21)

During the unit in iPhone/iPod mode:
1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once to start the iPhone/iPod playing. Adjust the volume
control by turning the VOLUME (+ or -) button. To stop the current playing, press the STOP/MENU (only in iPod)
button once.
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once to pause the current track. To resume the playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE
button once again.
3. To skip forwards or backwards, press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button to select the desired track.
4. Press the REPEAT or RANDOM button on the remote control to make the iPhone/iPod playing repeatedly or
randomly.
Note: 1. iPod touch version 1.1.4 or above can support REPEAT or RANDOM function.
2. When the iPod touch & iPhone screen has been locked, above operation are still available.

During the unit in iPhone/iPod MENU mode:
Note: iPod touch&iPhone series needs to manual into the music menu first, then proceeding the next operation.
1. During the unit in iPod mode, p ress the STOP/MENU button on the unit (or remote control) once, the unit
will enter to the iPhone/iPod MENU mode. To select the current menu as belows :
Music > Extras > Photo Import (without this function display on the iPod Mini) > Settings > Shuffle Songs >
Backlight > Now Playing will shows on the iPod Player display.
2. Press the PRESET/FOLDER/ARROW (UP or DOWN) button on the remote control to search the current menu.
3. Press the SELECT/MONO/ST. button on the unit (or remote control) enter to the desired menu folder.
4. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button on the unit (or remote control) to search the current
content in the each desired menu folder.
5. If you want return to the iPod menu, press the STOP/MENU button on the unit (or remote control) again.
Charging the iPhone/iPod Player battery through the main unit:
1. iPhone/iPod Player has a internal nonremovable battery, the battery may need to be charged that is not used for a
while.
2. You can charge the iPhone/iPod Player through the main unit automatically under the STANDBY or POWER ON mode.
Note : 1. The iPhone/iPod Player battery is 80-percent charged in about an hour, and fully charged in about a few hours.
If you charge it while playing music, it may take longer.
2. It is not better to charge under the TUNER mode. It may interfere the reception.
3. In any time, you can control the iPhone/iPod player on the main unit, remote control or iPhone/iPod player
itself while the unit in the "iPod" or "iPod MENU" mode.
4. In any time, the iPhone/iPod player must be fixed well under in the STANDBY mode to avoid the unit and
iPhone/iPod player were damaged.
AUX IN PLAY
The AUX input is located on the left hand side of the unit. Use a 3.5mm stereo jack cable to connect audio equipment
through the LINE IN jack.
1. To select the AUX input function, repeatedly press the FUNCTION button on the unit (or remote control) until the
AUX is indicated on the display.
2. Press the VOLUME (+ or -) button to adjust the sound output level.
Note: LINE in cable not included.
MUTE SETTING(on the remote control)
1. When you press the MUTE button once on the remote control, the volume level will flash and the audio output will be
temporarily terminated.(F22)
2. Press the MUTE button again, the volume level and the audio output will return to normal.
