Touristenflyer - Berlin entdecken
Sp Am 1 Aussichtspunkte Everyone who comes to Berlin has his or her own idea of what makes the German capital worth visiting. We have prepared a small selection of the city’s most important sites for you. The list is in no way exclusive, but it might help those who wish to experience a great deal in a limited period of time. Additional information, accommodation reservation services, tickets for events and souvenirs are available at the Berlin Tourist Infos, located at Hauptbahnhof (the main station), in the shopping/office complex known as Neues Kranzler Eck, by the Brandenbug Gate and ALEXA Shopping Center. Service-Hotline: 030 25 00 25; www.visitberlin.de Dieser Flyer wird gemeinsam von den Verkehrsunternehmen Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) und S-Bahn Berlin GmbH herausgegeben. This leaflet is a joint publication of the transportation companies Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) and S-Bahn Berlin GmbH. We would be happy to provide you with more information about the other public transportation services available. Please stop by one of our customer centres (Kundenzentrum): they are centrally located (see map 4e) and are open well into the evening and on weekends. You can also purchase detailed city maps there, such as the “Berlin Atlas” (€10.90), or the public transport route map “Berlin Liniennetz” (€1.80). In addition, both of our firms also have experienced customer-service staff on hand to answer questions by telephone. Welcome to Berlin A public transport system that has grown up over the course of several decades guarantees mobility at any time of day throughout the territory of Berlin and well into the surrounding area. The urban rail (S-Bahn) and metro (U-Bahn) lines form the core of public transport in Berlin. Buses and trams supplement their services. The lines featuring an M before the number, also known as MetroBuses or MetroTrams, run particularly often. One of the most interesting S-Bahn routes is the section known as the “Berliner Stadtbahn“ which runs between Ostbahnhof and Charlottenburg stations, winding its way through central Berlin over viaducts, known as the S-Bahn arches, and across bridges elevated high above the city’s streets. In the daytime hours, trains run along this route at 3-5 minute intervals, as they do on most S-Bahn routes in the city centre. Underground, several U-Bahn lines also traverse the metropolis at 5-minute intervals. Trams and buses generally run every ten minutes in the city centre. MetroTrams and MetroBuses often run even more frequently – and do so 24-hours a day. S-Bahn and U-Bahn train service continues throughout the night on most routes on the nights from Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday, as well as the nights before legal holidays (exceptions: U4, U55, S45 and S85). On other nights – from the night of Sunday - Monday through that of Thursday - Friday – night buses (Bus N1-N3 and N5-N9) run along the U-Bahn routes at 30-minute intervals. Other night buses run from 12:30 am to 4:30 am daily; on Sundays night service continues until 7:00 am. An “N” before the route number identifies these lines. They run at 30-minute intervals or more frequently on some routes. Always the right ticket … Just step on board. Public transport in Berlin is quite easy to use. There are only three fare zones: the S-Bahn ring serves at the border of Zone A, the city centre, which is also the environmental zone; Zone B ends at the city limits. Zone C stretches out 10-15 km beyond the city limits into Berlin’s surroundings, with their many woodlands, lakes and rivers. Airport Berlin-Schönefeld SXF is located in this zone. … available everywhere You can select the type of ticket that best suits your needs: Berlin AB tickets, BC tickets or ABC tickets. Adults must pay the regular fare; children from 6 to 14 are eligible for the reduced fair. Children under 6 do not need tickets. Tickets can be purchased conveniently at one of the many sales points (see map4e) or at the ticket machines that can be found at all stations, transfer points, and inside the trams. Many hotels also have tickets available for their guests. Please do not forget to validate your ticket before starting your journey. Ticket validation machines are located on all platforms at the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations and in the case of trams and buses inside the vehicles themselves. Tickets purchased on trams and buses will no longer need to be validated. Please board buses through the forward door; pre-purchased tickets must be displayed to the driver upon entry. ree Bo Foto: Monika Rittershaus d Bo en ab gr er pf Ku 2 4 r. est e aß str de B 1 H/I3 1 Museumsinsel A Altes Museum B Neues Museum C Bode-Museum D Alte Nationalgalerie E Pergamonmuseum G4 2 Kulturforum Kunstgewerbemuseum Gemäldegalerie Neue Nationalgalerie Musikinstrumenten-Museum Kupferstichkabinett Kunstbibliothek 3 Deutsches Historisches H3 Museum H2/3 4 Museum für Naturkunde G5 5 Deutsches Technikmuseum 6 Museum für Kommunikation H4 H5 7 Jüdisches Museum I4 8 Märkisches Museum Stadtmuseum Berlin C/D3 9 Museen am Schloss Charlottenburg Schloss Charlottenburg Museum Berggruen Bröhan-Museum E4 10 Museum für Fotografie G3 11 Hamburger Bahnhof Museum für Gegenwart 12 Museum für Film und Fernsehen G4 13 Berlinische Galerie – Landes- H4 museum für Moderne Kunst, Fotografie und Architektur F/G4 14 Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin H4 15 Friedrichwerdersche Kirche Schinkelmuseum H4 16 Martin-Gropius-Bau wechselnde Ausstellungen H3 17 Centrum Judaicum Museums Theater Theatres Berlin im Wandel der Zeit Museum Island A Altes Museum B Neues Museum C Bode-Museum D Old National Gallery E Pergamonmuseum Kulturforum Museum of Decorative Arts Gemäldegalerie New National Gallery Museum of Musical Instruments Kupferstichkabinett – Museum of prints, drawings & fine manuscripts Art Library German Historical Museum Museum of Natural History German Museum of Technology Museum of Communications Jewish Museum Märkisches Museum Museum of the City of Berlin Museums at Charlottenburg Palace Charlottenburg Palace Berggruen Museum Bröhan-Museum Museum for Photography Hamburger Bahnhof Museum for contemporary art Museum of Film and Television Berlinische Galerie – State Museum for Modern Art, Photography and Architecture Bauhaus Archives of Berlin Friedrichwerder Church Schinkel Museum Martin-Gropius-Bau temporary exhibits Centrum Judaicum SPRECHTHEATER H3 Berliner Ensemble H3 Deutsches Theater und Kammerspiele E4 Renaissance-Theater E5 Theater und Komödie am Kurfürstendamm J/K2 Die Schaubude – Puppentheater Berlin H5 Hebbel am Ufer (HAU) I3 Volksbühne am RosaLuxemburg-Platz L4 Theater an der Parkaue (Kindertheater) Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz D5 H3 Maxim-Gorki-Theater und Studiobühne F3 Grips Theater THEATRICAL PERFORMANCES Berliner Ensemble Deutsches Theater und Kammerspiele Renaissance-Theater Theater und Komödie am Kurfürstendamm Die Schaubude – Puppentheater Berlin Hebbel am Ufer (HAU) Volksbühne am Rosa-LuxemburgPlatz Theater an der Parkaue (children’s theatre) Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz Maxim-Gorki-Theater and Studiobühne Grips Theater HISTORISCHES BERLIN Brandenburger Tor Schloßplatz Unter den Linden Gendarmenmarkt Schloss Charlottenburg OPER, MUSICAL, KONZERT D4 Deutsche Oper H4 Komische Oper J6/7 Neuköllner Oper Staatsoper Unter den Linden (H4) Spielort z.Zt. im Schiller Theater E4 Musical Theater am Potsdamer G4 Platz E4 Theater des Westens G4 Philharmonie Kammermusiksaal H4 Schauspielhaus OPERAS, MUSICALS, CONCERTS Deutsche Oper Komische Oper Neuköllner Oper Staatsoper Unter den Linden Venues temporarily in Schiller Theater Musical Theater am Potsdamer Platz Theater des Westens Philharmonie Chamber Music Hall Schauspielhaus KABARETT, KLEINKUNST, VARIETÉ CABARET, FRINGE, VARIETY Friedrichstadtpalast Wintergarten Varieté Die Distel Die Stachelschweine Berliner Kabarett Anstalt (BKA) Die Wühlmäuse Ausgewählte Tickets · Selected Tickets Tageskarte Day ticket Normaltarif/Adult 6,30 € 6,60 € 6,80 € Ermäßigungstarif/Reduced price 4,50 € 4,90 € 5,10 € Gültig ab Entwertung bis 3.00 Uhr des Folgetages From validation until 3:00 a.m. the following day Kleingruppen-Tageskarte bis max. 5 Personen Group ticket up to 5 persons Normaltarif/Adult 15,00 € 15,30 € 15,50 € Gültig ab Entwertung bis 3.00 Uhr des Folgetages From validation until 3:00 a.m. the following day Berlin CityTourCard Berlin CityTourCard 48 Stunden/48 hours www.citytourcard.com 16,90 € 72 Stunden/72 hours 22,90 € 5 Tage*/5 days* 29,90 € Bei Vorlage der Berlin CityTourCard gibt es bis zu 50% Rabatt bei fast 50 touristischen Attraktionen und Events.
