„deep blues crossover“
After their Debut CD “What?” in 2009, The Almost Three, the deep blues crossover band
from the Ruhr Valley, published their second recording, titled “Big Muff” in November 2012. Like
their first CD, also the second one was mostly recorded live and mixed at the tresohr-Studios in
Oberhausen and finally mastered by Fritz Fey. Both recordings were competently produced by
the fine label „POTTpeople“. The live recordings were cut by Martin Meinschäfer, as a support
act for Henrik Freischlader Band concert. Here again The Almost Three took some liberties
with the Genre, showing their crossover Blues.

Martin Ettrich:
Autodidact of the first water, playing solo since the beginning of the 1980´s as well as touring with
different bands. He toured for 2 years with “Carey Bell”, “Louisiana Red”, more than 500 shows
with the German funk band “The Party Popes” in Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and
Austria, supported Joe Bowie´s Defunkt for 2 years on their German-tours.
Other supports: Bootsy Collins, Mother´s Finest, Joe Cocker a.o.
