“Abstractions 2.0”
When guitarist Leander and drummer Serch clenched their
fists together at the beginning of 2009, the first bricks for a
new band were laid. As they discovered a way to write
audible fury one half of BEAR was created. Dries was the
first to join their two man army on bass and got followed
by Maarten later that year, who took care of the vocal
parts. Quartet completed!
About 103 twisted breaks and turns later (I believe it was
april 2010) their first cub saw the burning rays of sunlight
in the form of a 5 track MCD 'ABSTRACTIONS' which was
self released.
BEAR spends the rest of 2010 playing numerous shows,
including a UK tour with While She Sleeps.
The band recieved loads of great reviews on their MCD as
well as their energy driven, raging and destructive
liveshows.
By the end of 2010 their efforts got rewarded with a record
deal. BEAR is VERY proud to announce they signed a
recorddeal with LET IT BURN RECORDS and, as we speak,
the band is working very hard to finish their debut full
length 'DORADUS' planned to be recorded in march 2011 @
Red Left Hand Studios.
