Entscheider-Reise U.S.A. 2015, in Zusammenarbeit mit dem US Department of Commerce Krankenhaus Besichtigungen und 23 Leadership Summit by Health Forum & AHA - American Hospital Association, San Francisco „Krankenhaus-Erfolg durch optimalen IT-Einsatz“ 2015 www.ENTSCHEIDERFABRIK.com Folie 1 Agenda ! ! ! ! 2015 Erwartungshaltungen - Erfahrungen Ablauf- bzw. Reiseplanung Veranstaltungsorte Zusammenfassung www.ENTSCHEIDERFABRIK.com Folie 2 Ekkehard Zimmer Zur Entscheider-Reise 2015 ! Ask if you can do anything else. When you meet a patient, you always have to introduce yourself and explain what you are doing. One reason why patients come to SHC: "Employees care, are trying to satisfy patients and seem to like working there." Employees go out and talk to patients: "How was your housekeeping experience" Did "a day in the life of" experience: CEO, CFO were treated as patients for a day and experiences life in hospital to understand patient experience. 2015 10.-11.02.2016, Entscheider-Event im Jubiläumsjahr – 10 Jahre Folie 31 Weiteres zu Stanford Health Care und Sodexo Processes and management ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Zur Person: Dr. Atul Gawande, surgeon, writer and public health researcher 2015 10.-11.02.2016, Entscheider-Event im Jubiläumsjahr – 10 Jahre Folie 52 Leadership Forum AHA ! The Healthcare Sector has to change and I show you the only possible way how to do it, but you have to do it ! Central goal: value for patient ! Value is created by caring for medical condidtions over the full cycle of care ! The full cycle of care has to be reimbursed by bundled prices ! Healthcare has to be reorganized along value chains ! but ! he did not specify what a „bundled payment“ is (capitation, diagnose-based capitation, complex DRG, ...) The design of „bundles“ remained completly unclear, but will have a significant impact on the behavior of the different actors ! for him „value based organization“ requires networking of providers together with a clear specialization and centalization ! his concept is clearly based on economical rationality. Other rationalities (politics, social, ...) are not taken into account. !
