A „black miracle tablet“ from Austria, available for nearly a century and whose constituents have remained virtually unchanged since 1909, has come into the limelight
recently as an effective treatment in the indication known as Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Eucarbon® - a word coined from the Greek
elements for „beneficial charcoal” – is a
natural intestinal regulator based on a
combination of herbal and mineral components, thanks to which one and the
same tablet acts both as a mild laxative as
well as against mild forms of diarrhoea. It

A study conducted recently at 35 centres
in four countries has come up with a furt-

Nahen und Mittleren Osten, in Nordafrika und Südamerika.
Eucarbon® ist ein alt bewährtes mildes Abführmittel und Darmadsorbens. In über 40
Ländern weltweit ist die aus rein pflanzlichen Bestandteilen und nichtaktivierter Kohle
bestehende Tablette im Einsatz. Klinische Studien erweitern nun das Wirkspektrum für
