ESCMID “young scientist members” (< 35 years old). The
grant covers the travel and the accommodation costs
(maximum per person 500 Euro). Please apply with the
registration form before 03. Oktober 2013 with the following

attending the course.
2. CV including professional affiliation, position, list of
publications, date of birth, educational status.

Course Objectives
This course provides participants with up-todate background information and focuses on a
practical approach to the treatment of severe
bacterial infections in hospitalized patients. The
course will cover healthcare associated
infection prevention and treatment with
particular emphasis on personalized approach
to the antibiotic treatment and infection control
during routine clinical practice. Experienced
national and international speakers will present
most recent data and stimulate case discussion
within interactive session.
