Majestic International Cruises Inc. is part of a major Greek Shipping entity fully owned and
controlled by KOLLAKIS BROS SHIPPING GROUP presently owning and operating a fleet in
excess of 45 vessels (cargo ships, tankers, reefers, Ro-Ro, etc).
Majestic International Cruises Inc. was formed in the late 1980s by Majestic Marine
Company which belongs to KOLLAKIS BROS SHIPPING GROUP, comprising of interests in
both the commercial and cruising shipping sectors.
Their purpose was the establishment of a cruise line with medium size cruise vessels that
would offer to potential niche market long-term charters, 3+ to 4 star quality vessels
together with management and operational services of comparable high standards.
The Company’s two passenger ships are fully paid for with no financial commitments to
any bank.
M/V OCEAN MAJESTY, was the first cruise vessel, with 10400 GRT, 274 staterooms, and was
introduced into the market place in 1994.
The investment on this vessel, which was practically totally reconstructed prior to her
entering service, came to over US$ 50 million, and the product that emerged was a very
modern, practically new cruise vessel of great charm and operational value.
She was chartered to Page & Moy, one of Britain’s most respected and demanding cruise
vessel Charterers, for about 200 days per year, and her long association with this company
has been renewed up to the autumn of 2009. Majestic extended the trading duration by
fixing short term charters to many smaller charterers such as AllWays Travel of Belgium,
Voyages of Discovery of UK, Halcon of Spain, Templeton Tours of USA and others.
For the summer of 2010, the OCEAN MAJESTY was chartered by Turkish Tour Operators
APEX Tours of Istanbul, who operated the vessel on 3/4/5/6/7 day cruises to the Eastern
Mediterranean, Greek islands and the Dalmatian coast, departing and terminating in the
port of IZMIR. After a very successful 2010 season, APEX Tours chartered again the vessel in
2011 and 2012 and will be sailing out of Izmir on a program similar to the one performed in
2010.
S/S OCEAN EXPLORER I, was the second vessel was added in 1998 to the fleet. The larger,
elegant classic vessel is 20000 GRT, totaling 406 staterooms.
The average size of her staterooms is probably amongst the largest existing at that time on
any cruise vessel of her size, and her public rooms have an exceptional air of grandness
and spaciousness.
After a nearly US$ 20 million conversion, the OCEAN EXPLORER I embarked on a spell of
Round the World Cruises. Later, due to her extraordinarily spacious and classic staterooms
and public areas, she was chosen by various Charterers to serve as an admirable floating
hotel, hosting guests for, amongst others, the Lisbon Expo 98 and the G8 Economic
Conference in Genova.
This vessel was eventually sold at the end of 2004.
M/V OCEAN MONARCH was acquired in 2002. This 15800 GRT, 231 stateroom vessel, in the
well tried by now company’s operational philosophy, underwent a radical US$ 5 million
improvement conversion, and in the spring of 2003 entered service on charter to a
German cruise ship Tour operator HANSA, to the end of August and in subsequent years.
She then joined her sister ship, the M/V OCEAN MAJESTY, in the service of Page & Moy,
who have chartered this vessel for three yearly summer seasons.
The undisputable highlight of her 2003 summer season was the hosting onboard by
Religion, Science and the Environment, of the SYMPOSIUM V: the Baltic Sea. This event is
held under the auspices of His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, the head of
the Orthodox Church.

During his eight-day stay onboard, His All Holiness, the Patriarch, received on the vessel a
number of international statesmen and dignitaries, including the Prime Minister of Finland
amongst others.
The vessel operated 3/4 day cruises out of Piraeus during season 2006/2007, and was sold
to Classic International Cruises at the end of year 2007 and operated as M/V Princess
Daphne.
M/V OCEAN COUNTESS was acquired in February 2004. At 17600 GRT and with 400
staterooms, she was extensively converted and upgraded in the spring of 2004 at the cost
of over US$6 million. In September 2004 she was hosting the guests of the French Television
Authority and some members of the French Olympic Committee, chartered by a French
company as a floating hotel during the Olympic Games 2004, in the port of Piraeus.
In summer 2005, the vessel was chartered by Spanish major Tour Operator, Travelplan, part
of the Globalia Group of Companies, for their summer cruising program from Valencia.
In December 2005, the vessel was chartered to a major German Tour Operator. Then to
Louis Cruises for one season and during year 2008 the vessel performed 3/4 day cruises ex
Piraeus to the Greek islands and Turkey.
During winter 2008/spring-summer 2009, the vessel was on charter to other Spanish
Charterers. Since 2010 Ocean Countess is on charter to British Tour Operators Cruise and
Maritime Services for about 250 days per year.
Majestic International Cruises Inc. is looking forward into the future and are already
planning their further expansion in the exciting and wonderful world of cruising.

Majestic Int. Cruises ist ein Unternehmensteil einer griechischen Reederei, die zu 100% zum
Konzern Kollakis Bros Shipping Group gehört, die im Besitz einer Schiffsflotte von 45 Schiffen
ist (Tanker, Frachter, Kühlschiffe etc).
Majestic International Cruises wurde 1980 von Majestic Marine Company gegründet, die
ebenfalls zum Kollakis Konzern gehört, und die wirtschaftlichen und touristischen
Kreuzfahrtinteressen miteinander vereinte.
Das Ziel war der Auf- und Ausbau einer klassischen Kreuzfahrtflotte im Nischenmarkt der
Langzeitcharter im 3+ bis 4 Sterne Bereich und gleichzeitig das Management des Schiffes
mit Offizieren und Servicepersonal auf einem vergleichbar hohen Standard anbieten zu
können.
Beide Kreuzfahrtschiffe dieses Unternehmens sind komplett bezahlt und ohne jegliche
Hypotheken.
MS Ocean Majesty war das erste Kreuzfahrtschiff der Firmengruppe mit 10400BRT, 274
Kabinen und wurde 1994 erstmals in den Kreuzfahrtmarkt eingeführt.
Die Investition in dieses Schiff, das komplett umgebaut wurde, betrug über 50 Millionen
USD. Das Ergebnis konnte sich sehen lassen, denn es entstand ein modernes, nahezu
neues Kreuzfahrtschiff mit überwältigendem Charme.
In der Vergangenheit wurde MS Ocean Majesty von Page & Moy, einem der größten
Kreuzfahrtveranstalter in Großbritannien jedes Jahr bis 2009 für ca. 200 Tage im Jahr
gechartert.
Die Charterperiode von Page & Moy wurde von Majestic International Cruises durch
weitere zusätzliche Vollcharterkunden wie z.B. AllWays Travel aus Belgien, Voyages of
Discovery in England, Halcon in Spanien, Templeton Tours in USA und vielen anderen
ausgebaut und verlängert.
Im Sommer 2010 wurde MS Ocean Majesty vom türkischen Veranstalter APEX Tours aus
Istanbul gechartert, der 3-,4-,5-,6- und 7-Tages Reisen in der Ägäis ab/bis Izmir
durchgeführt hat. Aufgrund des großen Erfolges in 2010 charterte APEX Tours das Schiff
auch in 2011 und in 2012 mit einem ähnlichen Programm.
MS Ocean Exlporer I war das zweite Schiff, das zur Flotte 1998 hinzukam. Das größere,
elegante klassische Kreuzfahrtschiff verfügt über 20000 BRT und 406 Kabinen.
Die Größe der Kabinen auf diesem Schiff war für damalige Verhältnisse
überdurchschnittlich groß, damit verfügte MS Ocean Explorer I mit über die größten
Kabinen auf dem Kreuzfahrtmarkt. Die außergewöhnliche Großzügigkeit und Weite
spiegelt sich auch in den öffentlichen Bereichen des Schiffes überall wieder.
Nach einer Investition von fast 20 Millionen USD in den Umbau ging MS Ocean Explorer I
auf Weltreise. Anschließend wurde sie unter anderem während der Expo 1998 in Lissabon
und während der G8 Konferenz in Genua aufgrund ihrer außergewöhnlich großzügigen
Kabinen und öffentlichen Räume von verschiedenen Charterern als Hotelschiff gebucht.
MS Ocean Monarch kam 2002 zur Flotte hinzu und verfügt über 15800 BRT und 231
Kabinen. In den Umbau und die Modernisierung des Schiffes wurden 5 Million USD
investiert. Im Frühjahr 2003 wurde sie so von Hansa Kreuzfahrten bis Ende August
gechartert. Anschließend wurde sie wie auch ihre Schwester MS Ocean Majesty von Page
& Moy gechartert.
Der Höhepunkt ihres Einsatzes im Sommer 2003 war das Symposium V mit religiösen und
wissenschaftlichen Vertretern in der Ostsee. Diese Veranstaltung stand unter der
Schirmherrschaft von seiner Heiligkeit dem ökumenischen Patriarch Bartholomew, dem
Leiter der orthodoxen Kirche. Während seines 8-tägigen Besuchs an Bord empfing seine

Heiligkeit, der Patriarch, internationale Staatsmänner und Würdenträger, wie z.B. den
Premierminister aus Finnland.
In 2006/2007 führte MS Ocean Monarch 3- und 4-Tages Kreuzfahrten ab/bis Piräus durch
und wurde Ende 2007 an Classic international Cruises in Lissabon verkauft. Seitdem ist sie
als MS Princess Daphne unterwegs.
MS Ocean Countess wurde im Februar 2004 erworben und verfügt über 17600 BRT und 400
Kabinen. Im Frühjahr 2004 wurde sie umfangreich umgebaut und aufgewertet, wofür ein
Betrag von über 6 Millionen USD zur Verfügung stand. Im September 2004 lag sie zu den
olympischen Spielen für die französische Telefongesellschaft und einige Mitglieder des
französischen olympischen Komitees im Hafen von Piräus.
Im Sommer 2005 wurde MS Ocean Countess vom spanischen Veranstalter Travelplan für
ihr Sommerprogramm ab/bis Valencia gechartert. Im Dezember 2005 wurde sie an einen
deutschen Veranstalter und anschließend für eine Saison an Lous Cruises verchartert. Sie
führte 3-, 4-tages Kreuzfahrten ab/bis Piräus zu den griechischen Inseln durch.
Im Winter 2008, Frühjahr und Sommer 2009 war das Schiff für einen weiteren spanischen
Charterer im Einsatz. Seit 2010 ist MS Ocean Countess für einen englischen Veranstalter
unterwegs.
