design brands in Scandinavia. At Bookmanpromotion you will find prestigious brands

Bookmanpromotion offers a unique selection

well as from young entrepreneurs. The aim is
to offer original products that are not found
with another supplier. Several of the brands
can be found in famous design shops around
the world.

Hintergrund
Background
In 2007 the founders Victor, Fredrik, Johan
and David met thanks to their mutual passion
for bikes, design and business. Their first
project, done during their time at university,
was a traffic safety campaign that quickly
grew into a nationwide concept. The campaign
provided university students with free bike
lights, sponsored and branded by different
companies and organisations. This was the
first part in what would later become
Bookmanpromotion.
2007 trafen die Gründer Victor, Fredrik,
Johan und David dank ihrer Begeisterung für
Radsport, Design und Geschäfte das erste
Mal aufeinander. Ihr erstes Projekt, das noch
während ihres Studiums gestartet wurde,
war eine Verkehrssicherheitskampagne,
die schnell ein landesweiter Erfolg wurde.
Die Kampagne stellte Studenten kostenlos
Fahrradbeleuchtung zur Verfügung, die von
verschiedenen Firmen und Organisationen
gebrandet und gesponsert wurden. Sozusagen
der Auftakt von dem, das später Bookmanpromotion werden sollte.
In 2009 the company moved to Stockholm
and 2011 saw the first external brand
incorporated in the product range.

Tic®
Tic® was founded by the Swedish inventor
and industrial designer Karolina Räntfors. In
2009 she pitched her innovative invention in the
Swedish version of Dragons den. Two “dragons”,
Mats Gabrielsson and Ljubo Mrnjavac immediately spotted the potential in Karolina and
her unique problem solver. Ljubo and Mats
invested in the young entrepreneur and began
developing the product and the business.
Tic® is made in Sweden. The product is patented
and Tic® is a registered trademark.

have no time to lose – the shirt button falls
to the floor. With a Tic® in your pocket is the
problem solved in a flash.
Tic® is an elegant way to fasten shirt buttons
quickly and easily without the need for any
needle and thread. Just use and wash your
garments like usual.The product fits all
standard shirt buttons.
The product consists of two plastic parts
where one has two sharp pins that is pushed
through the fabric and button hole. The two
parts are then pinched together and the clip
rotated until it falls off. Tic® is made in Sweden
and is delivered in a small box that can be
branded to suit the customer’s needs.

Tic® ist eine elegante Art, dauerhaft Hemdknöpfe
ohne Nadel und Faden anzubringen. Einfach
und zuverlässig. Sie können Ihre Kleidung wie
gewohnt anwenden und waschen. Tic® kann
mit allen gewöhnlichen Hemdknöpfen
angewandt werden.
Das Produkt besteht aus einem Clip aus
zwei Plastikkomponenten. Eine davon mit
zwei nadelähnlichen Spitzen, die durch den
Stoff und die Knopflöcher gesteckt werden.
Das Gegenstück wird dann von der anderen
Seite gegen die Spitzen gedrückt. Dann wird
der Clip so lange gedreht, bis er sich an den
Bruchstellen löst. Tic® wird in Schweden
hergestellt und in einer kleinen Box geliefert,
die individuell nach Kundenwunsch gestaltet
werden kann.
