11-­‐13 years of age: 5 children per accompanying adult Persons aged 14 and over may climb over the entire site without an accompanying adult. Accompanying adult must keep the children in sight at all times The rules of use must be signed by a parent/guardian General regulations: 1.
All Kletterinsel visitors must be in a healthy physical and mental state. If in doubt, ask our safety staff and inform us of any possible adverse effects. Attendance is prohibited to those under the influence of alcohol and drugs. 2.
Before using the high ropes course, each participant must complete the safety briefing. 3.
Safety equipment includes a harness, helmet and 2 self-­‐locking carabiner snap hooks. The safety equipment given out is not transferable and should not be put down during the course of the visit. If the equipment must be put down (e.g. to go to the toilet), your equipment must be re-­‐checked by a safety trainer before you may climb again. Safety equipment must not be taken off-­‐site. 4.
Smoking whilst wearing the harness is strictly forbidden. 5.
After their briefing, the participants are responsible for their own safety. Moving around the site is the responsibility of the participant. Please comply with our signs and all safety rules. Please proceed very carefully and attentively, both with regard to one's own safety and to the safety system in place. Serious injury may otherwise result. 6.
In general, when moving around the facility, both carabiners are to be hooked onto the safety wire. When you come to a "hang point", one carabiner will remain hooked. Both carabiners must not be simultaneously unhooked. If in doubt, please summon a safety trainer. 7.
When moving around the high ropes course, objects must not be carried which are a danger to the participants themselves or to others (jewellery, cameras, mobile phones, etc.). Piercings, whether exposed or not, must be removed. Scarves etc. must be removed and long hair tied back. 8.
An activity may be undertaken by a maximum of one person at a time. A maximum of 3 people may remain on a platform at any one time. The zip lines may only be used if it is ensured that there is no-­‐one in the landing area. 9.
Entry is restricted to a maximum of 2,5 hours, beginning after the safety briefing. Thereafter, an additional payment charge of €5 per hour or part thereof must be paid. Please be aware of our opening times, as these vary depending on the season. If entry is under 2,5 hours due to the opening times, there is no entitlement to a refund or extension of opening times. Likewise, there is no entitlement to a refund of the entry fee in the event of entry being cut short at the wish of the participant or due to a premature, weather-­‐related closure of the facility (storm, thunderstorm, heavy rain, hail, etc.). 10. The instructions given by the high-­‐wire trainer must be complied with exactly and immediately. Kletterinsel Fürstenfeld reserves the right to exclude individuals who do not comply with the safety rules or the instructions of the trainer. 11. By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the rules of use and agree to our "Terms and Conditions". You likewise confirm that there are no medical issues with regard to you undertaking a climbing session. In the event of breaches or violations of the operator/trainer's instructions or safety requirements/regulations, Kletterinsel Fürstenfeld assumes no liability for the resulting damage. We assume no liability for clothes or objects left with us.
