After his studies in law and political science at Johann Wolfgang Goethe
University in Frankfurt, Michael Simon was admitted to the practice of law in
1993.
When law firm founder and nationally renowned criminal defense attorney and
notary Horst Nickel retired, Michael Simon took over the criminal law
department and then specialized in white collar crime and tax criminal law.
Since then he set up a team covering all areas of criminal law at UP12.
The professional designation of Board Certified Attorney in Criminal Law, Board
Certified Attorney in Tax Law und Certified Counsel in Tax-Criminal Law (DAA)
was bestowed on Michael Simon.
He defends individuals across Germany in all of the relevant areas of criminal
law. He represents companies and their officers and directors at every junction
where the business world crosses paths with criminal law.
