3. FITTING THE BATTERIES AND CHARGING THE HELICOPTER

1. Loading the batteries: Remove the single screw retaining the battery cover. Now remove the transmitter’s battery cover. Load 6 x AA batteries (not included) ensuring that the correct polarity
is observed.
2. Ensuring that the helicopter is switched off, connect the plug at the end of the charger’s lead in the helicopter’s battery socket. Now plug the charger into a mains wall socket. When charging, the LED indicator on the charger will be red. It takes around 2-1/2 hours to fully charge the battery from flat. When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator will turn green. The helicopter is now ready
to fly.
CAUTION
This R/C helicopter uses a Lithium Polymer battery. Please pay attention to the following safety items
below.
• Do not expose the battery to high temperatures - it may ignite
or explode
• Do not drop the battery or expose it to any harsh impact
• Do not allow the battery to get wet
• Store the battery in a dry and cool place
• Only use the charger supplied with this product to charge the
battery
• Do not attempt to disassemble the battery
• Do not charge unattended

CAUTION
If you do not intend using
the helicopter for a long
time, ensure the power
switch is in the OFF position
and remove all batteries
from inside the transmitter.

The transmitter’s Left/Right steering control lever can be switched as per the
user’s wishes by simply pressing down the right control lever. By doing so, the
function of the original left control steering will be shifted to the right control
steering. Press it once again and it will return to left control steering.

After the model is started, please
do not touch the rotating parts
(including gear, main rotor, etc) as
it may cause injury.

7. PREPARATION BEFORE FLYING
CAUTION
Place the helicopter carefully on the ground, turn the power switch
ON and ensure that the onboard LED is flashing. Stand behind the
helicopter with the helicopter’s tail pointing towards you. Ensure
the transmitter’s throttle is closed and then turn the transmitter ON.
When the transmitter’s LED illuminates, you are ready for take off!
If the transmitter light
continues to flash, it means
that the transmitter batteries
are running out of power
and consequently will need
replacing before flying.
8. OPERATION

9. FLYING PRACTICE
To maximise your enjoyment of this model, why not practice

10. BINDING THE TRANSMITTER TO THE HELICOPTER
Please be sure to carry out the initial binding of the helicopter to the transmitter by following the steps
below
1. Firstly, please switch the power to the helicopter and transmitter OFF.
2. Place the helicopter on a flat surface and switch it on. The LED on the helicopter’s receiver will illuminate indicating that it is trying to find a transmitter to bind with.
3. Ensure the throttle on the transmitter is in its lowest position (stick pulled back) and then switch ON the transmitter. An LED light will indicate the transmitter is ON. A buzzer will send out a ‘‘di di” sound to show that a bind is in progress. When the bind process (which is automatic) is complete, the sound will stop. DO NOT switch off either the helicopter or transmitter, as this will lose the
binding process and you will need to begin again.
4. The helicopter is now ready for use, assuming it has not been turned OFF after this process.
(Simply repeat the steps each time the helicopter is switched ON).
5. When using multiple helicopters at the same time, ensure each one is bound in turn, but DO NOT switch any OFF.

11. CONNECTING THE CAMERA TO THE HELICOPTER

By pressing the photograph button, the camera will
receive a transmitted signal indicated by the LED
flashing and take a photograph.
If the photograph button is pressed for more than 1.5
seconds, the LED will glow signifying the activation of
VIDEO mode.
Pressing the photograph button again whilst recording
will FINISH the recording.

Pull out the connecting data cable between the helicopter
and the camera. As the arrows show, firstly use a thumb
to push up the camera latch which holds the camera in
place and then slide it out towards the tail to separate the
camera from the helicopter

Flick the power switch to the “ON” position. The camera LED will flash 3
times and then stop. This means that the camera is ready and in ‘Standby
Mode’. You are now able to press the shutter button and take a picture.
Pressing this button will cause the LED to flash once, indicating a picture
has been taken. If you hold down the shutter button for more than 1.5
seconds, the video mode will be activated and a video will start recording.
During the course of recording, if you press the shutter button once more,
the video will stop recording. Should you need to change the date or time,
please modify the ‘Time’ text document located in the root directory of the
Micro SD card and edit it such that the current date and time are correct.
Please remember that only when the text file is saved will the date/time be
updated before restarting the camera.

13. READING THE AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY DATA & CHARGING
Disconnect the included USB cable from the helicopter and connect
to a standard USB port on a PC. In a moment you can find the new
“removable disc” in the “My Computer” directory. Double click it to
read the data inside the aerial camera. Please copy the aerial
photography data from the disk to the computer and then browse to
it. When the data has finished copying, please do not remove it from
the USB port immediately as the USB port also charges the camera.
When charging is underway, the LED indicator on the camera will
flash and then glow solidly when the camera is fully charged.

Fix the video transmitter on the tail boom and
then insert the 2.5mm plug into the AV output jack
of the aerial camera. Switch on the camera. This
time the red LED on the video transmitter will be
ON, meaning it has started working.

Push up and down the DIP switch on the
transmitter to set the frequency. For this
helicopter, there are four transmitting frequencies
available. Set the DIP switch as shown in the
illustration.

you do not wish to have any live video image

The DIP switches on the back of the transmitter
are for setting the receiving frequency. Ensure
you match the receiving and transmitting
frequencies. If the transmitter is set to Channel
A, then so too must the receiver.
Should you be unable to receive any real-time video, please consult the following list
1) Check if the 2.5mm video transmitter plug has been inserted into the AV output jack on the aerial camera.
2) Check if the red LED on the transmitter is ON or not. If it is not ON, it means the plug is not
connected correctly in the AV port. Unplug and then re-connect. Should the problem not be solved by this, then the aerial camera could have insufficient power, in which case it will need
charging.
3) Check if the transmitting frequency on the video transmitter is the same as the receiving frequency.
4) If unable to receive any images, this may be due to the DIP switch having been set
incorrectly.

3. AKKU INSTALLIEREN UND HELIKOPTER LADEN

1. Akkus laden: Entfernen Sie die Schraube, die den Akkudeckel hält. Nun entfernen Sie die Akkuabdeckung vom Sender. Installieren Sie 6 AA Batterien (nicht beinhaltet), und achten dabei
auf die richtige Polarität.
2. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Helikopter ausgeschaltet ist. Dann stecken Sie das eine Ende des Ladekabelsteckers in die Akkubuchse am Helikopter. Nun stecken Sie das Ladegerät in
eine Steckdose. Während dem Ladevorgang wird die LED am Ladegerät rot leuchten. Eine vollständige Ladung dauert ca. 2 -2.5 Std. Wenn der Akku vollständig geladen ist, wird die LED Anzeige auf grün umschalten. Der Helikopter ist bereit zum Fliegen.
ACHTUNG
Dieser Helikopter wird mit einem Lithium Polymer Akku betrieben. Beachten Sie folgende
Sicherheitshinweise, die unten aufgeführt sind.
• Den Akku nicht zu hohen Temperaturen aussetzen - dieser
kann sich entzünden oder explodieren.
• Den Akku nicht fallen lassen, oder grob mit diesem umgehen.
• Den Akku nicht nass werden lassen.
• Den Akku an einem trockenen und kühlen Ort aufbewahren.
• Nur das mitgeliefert Ladegerät zum Laden verwenden.
• Nicht den Akku auseinander nehmen.
• Den Ladevorgang nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen.

Die Rollfunktion (links/rechts) an Ihrem rechten Kontrollhebel kann durch
einfaches drücken auf den Hebel mit der Heckrotor Funktion des linken Kontrollhebels getauscht werden (Mode 2 in Mode 4. Dies wird aber nur Experten
empfohlen). D.h. beide Funktionen wurden getauscht. Die restlichen Funktionen der Hebel werden dabei nicht verändert. Durch nochmaliges drücken
werden die Funktionen wieder zurück getauscht.

6. SICHERHEITSVORKEHRUNG
Hohe Motortemperaturen
Nachdem das Modell
gestartet ist, bitte nicht die
rotierenden Teile berühren
(einschließlich Getriebe,
Hauptrotor etc), da dies zu
Verletzungen führen kann.
Während, oder unmittelbar
nach dem Gebrauch, ist der
Motor sehr heiß. Diesen
daher NICHT berühren.

7. FLUGVORBEIREITUNG
ACHTUNG
Stellen Sie den Helikopter vorsichtig auf den Boden. Dann schalten
Sie diesen EIN, und stellen sicher, dass die Onboard LED blinkt.
Stellen Sie sich hinter den Helikopter. Das Heck des Helikopters
zeigt in Ihre Richtung. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Sender
Gas geschlossen ist. Dann schalten Sie den Sender EIN. Wenn die
Sender LED aufleuchtet, ist das Modell bereit zum abheben!
Wenn das Licht am Sender
weiter blinkt, bedeutet dies,
dass die Senderbatterien
fast leer sind. Diese müssen,
bevor Sie fliegen, durch neue
ersetzt werden.

9. FLUGÜBUNGEN
Um Ihre Freude an diesem Modell zu maximieren, warum üben Sie
nicht diese vier Manöver?

10. HUBSCHRAUBER UND SENDER BINDEN (Anbindung)
1. Schalten Sie zuerst den Hubschrauber und Sender AUS.
2. Stellen Sie den Hubschrauber auf eine ebene Fläche und schalten diesen EIN. Die LED am
Empfänger des Helikopters blinkt. Dies zeigt an, dass er versucht sich mit dem Sender zu binden.
3. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Gashebel am Sender in der untersten Position steht (Hebel zurück gezogen) und schalten dann den Sender EIN. Ein LED Licht zeigt Ihnen an, dass der Sender
EINGESCHALTET ist. Ein “di di” Ton wird ertönen und zeigt Ihnen an, dass die Bindung vorgenommen wird. Wenn dieser Vorgang (ist automatisch) abgeschlossen ist, wird der Sound
stoppen. NICHT den Hubschrauber noch den Sender ausschalten. Dadurch kann der Bindungs- prozess unterbrochen werden und Sie müssen noch einmal von vorne beginnen.
4. Der Helikopter ist nun für den Einsatz bereit, vorausgesetzt er wurde nicht nach diesem Prozess AUSGESCHALTET (Wiederholen Sie die Schritte, wenn der Helikopter eingeschaltet ist.)
5. Wenn mehrere Helikopter zur gleichen Zeit im Einsatz sind, vergewissern Sie sich, dass jeder einzeln nacheinander angebunden wurde, aber KEINER sollte dann AUSGESCHALTET werden.

Durch drücken des Aufnahmeknopf wird die Kamera
ein Sendesignal erhalten. Die LED blinkt auf und Sie
machen ein Foto.
Wenn der Aufnahmeknopf für mehr als 1.5 Sekunden
gedrückt wird, leuchtet die LED dauernd. Dies bedeutet, dass der VIDEO MODE aktiviert ist.
Drücken Sie noch einmal, während der Aufnahme den
Aufnahmeknopf, wird die Aufnahme BEENDET.

Ziehen Sie das Datenkabel zwischen Helikopter und Kamera
heraus. Die Pfeile zeigen an, wie die Kamera befestigt ist. Mit
dem Daumen drücken Sie die Verriegelung nach oben, dann
schieben Sie die Kamera in Richtung Heck heraus.

Schieben Sie den Schalter in die “ON” Position. Die LED an der Kamera blinkt
3 mal und hört dann wieder auf. Dies bedeutet, dass die Kamera einsatzbereit
und im “Standby Mode” ist. Sie können jetzt den Auslöser drücken, um zu
fotografieren. Drücken Sie diesen Knopf, wird die LED einmal aufleuchten,
und zeigt an, dass ein Foto gemacht wurde. Wenn Sie den Knopf mehr als
1.5 Sekunden gedrückt halten, wird der Video Mode aktiviert, uns Sie können
Videos aufnehmen. Wenn Sie während der Aufnahme noch einmal den Knopf
drücken, wird der Videovorgang unterbrochen. Müssen Sie Datum oder die Zeit
ändern, ändern Sie bitte das “Zeit” Textdokument entsprechend im Stammverzeichnis der Mikro SD Karte, damit das aktuelle Datum und Uhrzeit korrekt
sind. Bitte denken Sie daran, wenn das Text Dokument gespeichert wurde, wird
das Datum und die Zeit vor dem Wiedereinschalten der Kamera aktualisiert.

13. AUSLESEN DER BILDDATEN & LADEN
Trennen Sie das mitgelieferte USB Kabel vom Helikopter, und
stecken dieses an einen Standard USB Anschluss am Computer
ein. In wenigen Augenblicken können Sie die neue “removable Disc”
in “meinem Computer” Verzeichnis finden. Mit einem Doppelklick,
können sie die Daten aus der Kamera lesen. Bitte kopieren Sie die
Bilddaten auf den Computer. Wenn der Kopiervorgang beendet
wurde, entfernen Sie das USB Kabel nicht gleich vom USB Ausgang,
da dadurch noch die Kamera geladen wird. Solange der Ladevorgang
läuft, blinkt die LED an der Kamera auf. Ist der Ladevorgang beendet,
leuchtet die LED durchgehend auf.

Durch verstellen der DIP Schalter am
Videosender können Sie die Frequenz
einstellen. Für diesen Helikopter sind vier
Übertragungsfrequenzen möglich. Stellen Sie
die DIP Schalter ein, wie im Bild gezeigt.
Befestigen Sie den Videosender am
Heckausleger, und stecken den 2.5mm Stecker
in den AV Ausgang der Kamera. Schalten Sie die
Kamera ein. Diesmal leuchtet die rote LED am
Videosender. D.h. Dieser arbeitet jetzt.

den Bildschirm AUSZUSCHALTEN. Dadurch
sparen Sie Energie, wenn Sie nicht möchten,
dass der Bildschirm ein Livebild anzeigt.

Die DIP Schalter auf der Rückseite des Senders
sind für das Einstellen der empfangenen
Frequenz. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die
gesendeten und empfangenen Frequenzen
gleich sind. Wenn der Sender auf Kanal A steht,
muss auch der Empfänger so eingestellt sein.
Sind Sie nicht in der Lage ein Echtzeitbild zu empfangen, verfahren Sie wie folgt:
1. Überprüfen Sie, ob der 2.5mm Stecker im AV Ausgang der Kamera steckt.
2. Überprüfen Sie, ob die rote LED am Sender der Kamera AN ist oder nicht. Wenn diese nicht AN
ist, heißt das, dass der Stecker nicht korrekt im AV Ausgang steckt. Ziehen Sie diesen ab, und stecken ihn erneut ein. Löst dies nicht das Problem, kann es sein, dass die Kamera nicht genügend Strom hat. In diesem Fall müssen Sie die Kamera laden.
3. Überprüfen Sie, dass die Frequenzen an Ihrer Fernsteuerung, wie auch am Übertragungsmodul der Kamera identisch sind.
4. Wenn Sie nicht in der Lage sind Bilder zu empfangen, kann dies daran liegen, dass die DIP Schalter
nicht korrekt eingestellt sind.
