Im 2015 eröffneten Neubau neben der Prinzenstraße 85 hat die
design akademie berlin auf zwei Etagen ihre Berliner Standorte
vereinigt. Sechs Selbstorganisationen der Sinti und Roma setzen
neue kulturelle Akzente. Foodbag mit türkischen Spezialitäten,
Pacifico und Atelier mit großer Dachterrasse erweitern das
gastronomische Angebot. Der Projektraum CLB Berlin, digitalklang, Martin Schmitt Architektur, The Principals, Rothkirch
Cartoon-Film, SBIT, Syspons, The Adventures Of u.v.m. geben
neue Impulse für das vielfältige Angebot an kreativwirtschaft­
lichen Unternehmen im Aufbau Haus Prinzenstraße 84 & 85.
In the new building adjacent to Prinzenstraß 85, opened in 2015,
the design akademie berlin consolidates its Berlin locations on
two floors. Six Sinti and Roma organisations provide new cultural
accents. Foodbag with Turkish specialities, Pacifico and Atelier
with large terraces on the top of the building extend the
culinary spectrum. CLB Berlin, digitalklang, Martin Schmitt
Architektur, The Principals, Rothkirch Cartoon-Film, SBIT,
Syspons, The Adventures Of and many others provide new
input to the diverse portfolio of creative businesses in Aufbau
Haus Prinzen­straße 84 & 85.

Sinti and Roma Cultural Centre
Seven Sinti and Roma organisations in Aufbau Haus 84
represent the interests of the minority. In autumn 2015,
the Heidelberg Documentation and Cultural Centre of
German Sinti and Roma has opened its Berlin base here.
AspE e.V. and RomnoKher Berlin run together the conti­
nuation school RomAs and in cooperation with the Hildegard
Lagrenne Stiftung and the Galerie Kai Dikhas the art and
event space Dikhas Dur. Amaro Drom, Amaro Foro and
RAA Berlin give advice and support, particularly to young
immigrants. This way, the Aufbau Haus will become a unique
location radiating into all of Europe, combining political
self-representation and cultural and educational activities
for this minority.

The officially recognised private university of applied sciences
offers in-between the creative environment of publishers, agencies and design-oriented companies to innovative and practiceoriented bachelor's and master’s programmes in the fields of
communication and design. Modern equipment, Open Workspace, fully equipped film and photo studios, regularly exhibitions, lectures and forums on current topics complete the programme of the university. It is part of a strong network, the SRH
University network, which is represented with nine SRH universities and over 9000 students nationwide.

Insgesamt sieben Selbstorganisationen der Sinti und Roma
vertreten im Aufbau Haus die Interessen der Minderheit. Im
Herbst 2015 eröffnete das Dokumentations- und Kulturzentrum Deutscher Sinti und Roma Heidelberg hier seine Berliner
Repräsentanz. AspE e.V. und RomnoKher Berlin betreiben
zusammen das Bildungsinstitut RomAs und gemeinsam mit
der Hildegard Lagrenne Stiftung und der Galerie Kai Dikhas
den Kunst- und Veranstaltungsraum Dikhas Dur. Amaro Drom,
Amaro Foro und die RAA Berlin beraten und unterstützen vor
allem jugendliche Einwanderer. Das Aufbau Haus wird so zu
einem einzigartigen Ort mit europäischer Strahlkraft, der politische Selbstvertretung mit Kultur- und Bildungsarbeit der
Minderheit verbindet.

Agenturen und designorientierten Unternehmern innovative und
praxisorientierte Bachelor- und Master-Studiengänge in den Fachbereichen Kommunikation und Design an. Moderne Ausstattung,
Open Work Space, voll ausgestattete Film- und Fotostudios, regelmäßige Ausstellungen, Vorträge und Foren zu aktuellen Themen
runden das Programm der Hochschule ab. Sie ist Teil eines starken Netzwerks, des SRH Hochschulverbunds, der mit neun SRH

TAK Theater im Aufbau Haus, Prince Charles Club, the Parker
Bowles Restaurant and the Rock-Paper… Café bring a vibrant atmosphere to the house, even at night. Its programme, organised
by the non-profit TAK e.V. association, puts particular emphasis
on minority cultures and youth work. Directed by a drama teacher,
the JUNGE TAK group presents its own productions. There is a
regular theatre and cultural exchange programme with the Arab
world, in particular with Iraq.
