We have 29 elementary and secondary schools with an enrollment of over 23,000 students. Agriculture still provides an important economic influence, as do other light and service industries. The rural flavor of the community still survives despite the rapid growth which has taken place in the area. Tahquitz High School has garnered a reputation for quality programs in Advanced Placement, fine arts, athletics, general academic program, drop-out prevention and agriculture. School Description-Four year comprehensive high school Enrollment—317 senior class , 399 junior class, 423 sophomore class, 465 Freshman class Minimum Course Requirements A regular school day consists of six period. Each semester course is equal to 5 credits.
