ADMINISTRATION
Community
Hemet Unified School District encompasses one incorporated city and numerous
unincorporated communities within it 700+ topographically diverse square
miles. We have 29 elementary and secondary schools with an enrollment of
over 23,000 students. Agriculture still provides an important economic influence, as do other light and service industries. The rural flavor of the community still survives despite the rapid growth which has taken place in the area.
Tahquitz High School has garnered a reputation for quality programs in Advanced Placement, fine arts, athletics, general academic program, drop-out prevention and agriculture.
