Mas, como nunca, desde a última metade do séc. XX, este tempo que
vivemos, é um tempo branco. Branco porque é crítico, é provocador, é
aberto, é oportunidade, é convite à criação, é novidade!
Black & White, sim, vivemos inteiramente um tempo a preto e branco.
E o que nos diz a expressão artística acerca deste tempo?
Vamos ver! É este o tempo de apreciar a participação oriunda de 21
países de todo o mundo.
Este Festival prossegue a sua dinâmica de internacionalização e esta
sua dimensão tem de ser reforçada.

Here it is: The Crisis! Now, everything is presented with more black!
But, as never before in the last half of the 20th century, the time that we
live in is a time of white. White because it is critical, it is provocative, it
is open, it is opportunity, it is a call to creation, it is a novelty!
Black & White, yes, we live in a time that is entirely in black and white.
And what tells us about the artistic expression of this time?
We will see! This is the time to appreciate the participation of 21 countries around the world.
This Festival continues its dynamics of internationalization and its

black & white audiovisual festival – 6th edition
Nas mãos de um miúdo, uma caixa de sapatos raramente é, apenas,
uma caixa de sapatos. Nas mãos de um miúdo, uma caixa de sapatos
pode muito bem ser uma casa, um navio, uma nave espacial. Também pode ser, apenas, uma caixa de sapatos. Mas é raro. Quando da
caixa de sapatos o miúdo imagina uma nave espacial está a construir
uma metáfora. Uma metáfora é um processo bastante complexo de
transferência de sentido. Isto é aquilo. Isto (caixa de sapatos) é aquilo
(nave espacial). Que vai deixando de fazer sentido, quando ao mesmo
puto se oferece uma nave espacial. A não ser que, já muito rotinado no
complexo exercício de criação de metáforas, o mesmo puto se lembre
de transformar a nave espacial ofertada numa caixa de sapatos. Não só
espacial mas, também, supersónica.
A imagem a preto e branco torna a pessoas mais imaginativas. Ao
espectador é exigido que construa um processo de transferência de
sentido. Ou seja, uma determinada cor para um determinado tom
de cinzento. Uma imagem a preto e branco implica um exercício de
imaginação para que se preencha de cor a imagem. Porque uma imagem a preto e branco, mais do que uma imagem a cores, constitui-se
como uma metáfora. O exercício, normalmente imediato e espontâneo,
quando desmontado em etapas, processa-se do seguinte modo: de que
cor serão aqueles sapatos cinzentos? E o casaco cinza claro? E o negro
do tronco daquela árvore será mesmo negro, será castanho-escuro ou
estará coberta de musgo verde?
Ao cineasta é exigido que distinga as gradações de cinza. É fácil destacar uma personagem com uma camisola vermelha de um fundo azul,
como o céu… mas a preto e branco? Para destacar a mesma personagem do mesmo fundo é preciso ser imaginativo. Nem que seja com o
uso da luz. É necessário usar a luz como o puto usa a caixa de sapatos.
Ninguém gosta de pintar livros coloridos. Traga as suas cores de casa e
apareça. Temos várias imagens a preto e branco para colorir.
Bem vindo, ao mundo das metáforas coloridas.
In the hands of a kid, a shoebox is rarely just a shoebox. In the hands
of a kid, a shoebox can very well be a house, a ship, a spaceship. It can
also be just a shoebox. But that’s rare. When the kid imagines that the
shoebox is a spaceship, he is constructing a metaphor. A metaphor is a
very complicated process of the transfer of meaning. This is that. This
(the shoe box) is that (the spaceship). It doesn’t make sense when the
kid proposes a spaceship. Unless, that same kid, already habituated to
the complex exercise of creating metaphors, remembers to transform
the offered spaceship back into a shoebox. Not just spatial anymore, but
supersonic.
The image of black and white makes people more imaginative. The
spectator is required to construct a process of meaning transference.
For example, a specific color for a specific tone of gray. A black and
white image implies an exercise of imagination in order to fill the image with color. Because a black and white image, more than a color image, constructs itself as a metaphor. The exercise, normally immediate
and spontaneous, when broken down into steps, takes place as follows:
what color will those gray shoes be? And the light gray jacket? And will
the black of that tree trunk really be black, will it be dark brown or will
it be covered in green moss?
It is required that the filmmaker distinguishes between the gradations
of gray. Is it easy to contrast a character with a red sweater from a blue
background like the sky... but in black and white? In order to contrast
this same character from the same background it is necessary to be
imaginative. Even if it is with the use of light. It is necessary to use the
light like the kid uses a show box.
No one likes to paint colored books. Bring your colors from home and
appear. We have various black and white images for you to color.

Jorge Abade nasce em Oyonnax (França), em 1974. Vive e trabalha no Porto.
Licenciado em Pintura pela Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto. Professor Assistente de Desenho no curso de Som e Imagem da Universidade Católica.
Expõe regularmente, quer individual quer colectivamente, desde meados dos
anos 00.
Das suas exposições individuais, destaca-se: “Day is Done” (Galeria MCO, Porto,
2009); “Origem” (Galeria Extéril, Porto); “Murder Ballads” (Galeria Sopro, Lisboa,
2007); “O Idiota” (Galeria MCO, Porto, 2006); “Army of me” (Círculo de Artes
Plásticas de Coimbra, 2006); “Do You Believe In Heroes?” (Galeria Canvas, Porto,
2004).

Jorge Abade was born in Oyonnax (France), 1974. Lives and Works in Porto.

He has exhibited his works regularly since 2000.
From his individual exhibitions, he has had the following highlights: “Day is

Sahra Kunz nasce em Leiria, a 13 de Outubro de 1973. Em 1997 termina a Licenciatura em Artes-Plásticas/Pintura na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade
do Porto e ingressa no Mestrado em Som e Imagem da Universidade Católica
Portuguesa, concluído em 2001. Desde 1998 lecciona Desenho nesta mesma
Universidade. Encontra-se a terminar a dissertação de Doutoramento em Desenho, na Universidade do País Basco (Bilbao-Espanha).
Sahra Kunz was born in Leiria on the 13th of October 1973. In 1997 she finished
her undergraduate degree in Plastic-Arts/Painting in the School of Fine Arts
at the University of Porto and started her Master’s in Sound and Image at the
Portuguese Catholic University, finishing it in 2001. Since 1998 she has been
teaching Drawing there.
As of now, she is finishing her PhD dissertation in Drawing at the University of
the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain.

José Maçãs de Carvalho (Anadia, 1960) é licenciado em Línguas e Literaturas Modernas – Universidade de Coimbra
(1984). Concluiu a Pós-Graduação em Gestão de Artes, no Instituto de Estudos Europeus de Macau (1998). Foi bolseiro da
Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (1994), Fundação Oriente (1999-2009), Instituto Camões (2001), Centro Português de Fotografia (2003) e Instituto das Artes (Pontuais) em 2006, 2007 e 2008. Em 2005 comissaria “My Own Private Pictures”, na
Plataforma Revólver, no âmbito da LisboaPhoto. Nomeado para o prémio BESPhoto 2005 (Janeiro a Março de 2006, CCB,
Lisboa). Em 2006 mostra fotografias e vídeos nas exposições: “Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin”, Jeu de Paume;
“Catódica: International Videoart review”, Trieste; “Festival Número”, Teatro S. Jorge, Lisboa; “Momentos da vídeo-arte
portuguesa contemporânea”, (PhotoEspaña) C. Cultural Conde Duque, Madrid; “Portuguese Screen. Videoart Showcase”,
Museu do Chiado, Lisboa e “BESPhoto”, CCB, Lisboa. Em 2007 expõe individualmente ” Vídeo killled the painting stars”,

VPF Cream Art, Lisboa (fotografia). Em 2008 ” The return of the real 2”, no Museu do Neo-Realismo, V. F. Xira (vídeo e
fotografia). || José Maçãs de Carvalho (Anadia, 1960) graduated with a degree in Modern Languages and Literature from
the University of Coimbra in 1984. He concluded his graduate degree in Art Management at the Institute of European
Studies in Macau in 1998. He received scholarships from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in 1994, the Oriente Foundation from 1999 to 2009, the Camões Institute in 2001, the Portuguese Center of Photography in 2003 and the Institute of
Arts (Pontuais) in 2006, 2007 and 2008. In 2005, he commissioned “My Own Private Pictures”, at the Plataforma Revólver,
in the scope of the LisboaPhoto. He was nominated for the BESPhoto 2005 prize (January to March of 2006, CCB, Lisbon).
In 2006, he showed his photography and videos in the following expositions: “Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin”,
Jeu de Paume; “Catódica: International Videoart review”, Trieste; “Festival Número”, Teatro S. Jorge, Lisbon; “Momentos da

Paulo Ferreira-Lopes estudou Composição com Constança Capdeville, em Lisboa, entre 1988 e 1991. Em 1994, mudou-se
para Paris e estudou Composição com Emmanuel Nunes, Antoine Bonnet e “Música Computacional” com Curtis Roads,
entre 1995 e 1997.
Em 1996 obteve o grau de Mestre em Composição na Universidade de Paris VIII, sob a tutela de Horácio Vaggione. Em
1997, ganhou o prémio-composição “Documenta X” em Kassel, Alemanha. É fundador e director dos workshops de verão
– Olhares de Outono na Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2000). Desde 1998 que ele é o artista residente e investigador
no ZKM – Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie – Karlsruhe, Alemanha. Em 2004 obteve o seu grau de doutoramento na Universidade de Paris VIII. Desde Junho desse mesmo ano que é o Director do Centro de Investigação em
Tecnologia das Artes (CITAR) e professor na Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Em 2007 torna-se professor convidado na
Karlsruhe Music University – Departamento de Música Informática.
Os trabalhos de Paulo Ferreira-Lopes têm sido produzidos em festivais internacionais – “Musica Strasbourg”, “MusicaViva”, “Estoril Summer Festival”, “Documenta X - Essen, Biennal S. Paulo”, “ZKM-Karlsruhe”, “World Music Days”,
“Gulbenkian Fondation”, “Expo 98 Portugal”, através de importantes grupos da cena artística contemporânea, tais como
- AccrocheNote, OrchestrUtopica , Ensemble Modern Frankfurt. || Paulo Ferreira-Lopes studied Composition in Lisbon with
Constança Capdeville between 1988 and 1991. In 1994, he moved to Paris and studied Composition with Emmanuel Nunes,
Antoine Bonnet and Computer Music with Curtis Roads between 1995 and 1997.
In 1996, he received a Master´s in Composition at the University of Paris VIII under the advice of Horacio Vaggione. In 1997,
he won the Composition Prize at the exhibition “Documenta X” in Kassel, Germany. He was the founder and director in
2000 of the Summer Workshops - olhAres de Outono at the Portuguese Catholic University-Porto.

Since 1998, he has been an artist in residence and researcher at ZKM - Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie –
Karlsruhe, Germany.
In 2004, he received a Doctorate degree from the University of Paris VIII and became director of the Research Centre for
Science and Technology in Art (CITAR) and Professor at the Portuguese Catholic University. He has served as guest professor since 2007 at the Karlsruhe Music University in the Music Informatic Departement.Paulo Ferreira-Lopes works have
been produced in the international festivals: Musica STRASBOURG, MUSICAVIVA, Estoril Summer Festival, documenta
X - Essen, Biennal S. Paulo, ZKM-Karlsruhe, World Music Days, Gulbenkian Fondation, Expo 98 Portugal , by important
ensembles of the contemporary artistic scene such as AccrocheNote, OrchestrUtopica, and Ensemble Modern Frankfurt.
Rui Xavier nasceu no Porto em 1974 e viveu a maior parte da sua infância e juventude em Caxinas, a comunidade
piscatória de Vila do Conde no Norte de Portugal. Em 1995 completa o seu bacharelato em Tecnologias da Comunicação
Audiovisual no Instituto Politécnico do Porto, começando a interessar-se pela Fotografia e pelo Cinema. Continua os
seus estudos na Grã-Bretanha concluindo em 1997 uma Pós-graduação em Fotojornalismo, na Universidade do País de
Gales em Cardiff. Entre 1997 e 1998 trabalha em Londres como fotógrafo do diário “The Independent”. Em 1999 volta a
Portugal para trabalhar como freelancer, criando em 2001 com outros fotógrafos o colectivo “Kameraphoto”. Em 2000
é distinguido com o Grande Prémio Visão de Fotojornalismo, recebendo também o prémio de melhor Reportagem do
Ano. Começa a fazer algumas experiências com vídeo na área documental fundando com Bruno Gonçalves a Produtora
Ricochete Filmes. De 2003 a 2005 foi editor de fotografia da revista “Grande Reportagem”. Desde 2006, tem trabalhado
nas várias áreas da produção cinematográfica, essencialmente na direcção de fotografia em filmes de ficção e documentário. Em 2008 a sua curta-metragem “Superfície”, realizada no âmbito do Programa ”Criação e Criatividade Artística”
da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, recebe uma Menção Especial do Júri no Festival Internacional de Cinema de Berlim
e o Prémio para a Melhor Fotografia das curtas-metragens portuguesas no Festival Indie Lisboa. || Rui Xavier was born
in Porto in 1974 and spent his childhood and adolescence in Caxinas, a fishing community in Vila do Conde (north of
Portugal). In 1995 completes his bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Communications Technology at the Polytechnic Institute
of Porto, developing his interest in Photography and Cinema. He continues his studies in Great Britain and completes his
Post-graduate degree in Photojournalism at the University of Wales, Cardiff (1997). Between 1997 and 1998 he works in
London as a photographer for the newspaper “The Independent.” In 1998 he returns to Portugal to work as a freelancer,
creating the “Kameraphoto” collective in 2001 with other photographers. In 2000 he was distinguished with the “Visão”
magazine award for Photojournalism and also received the award of Best Reportage of the Year.” He started to do some
video experiences in the documentary form and founded “Ricochete Filmes” Production Company with Bruno Gonçalves.
From 2003 to 2005 he was the photography editor for the magazine “Grande Reportagem.” Since 2006, he has worked in
various areas of cinema production, essentially in direction of photography for fiction and documentary films. In 2008 his
short film “Superfície,” created under the programme “Criação e Criatividade Artística” from “Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian”, received a Special Mention of the Jury at the Berlin International Film Festival and the Award for Best Photography
of Portuguese short films at the Indie Lisboa, International Independent Film Festival.

Waltraud Grausgruber é Directora e uma das fundadoras do festival “Tricky Women” em Viena, Áustria.
“Tricky Women” é o primeiro e o único festival de animação na Europa que é dedicado exclusivamente às animações realizadas por mulheres. Ela estudou Teatro, Filme e estudos em Media na Universidade de Viena. || Waltraud Grausgruber
is the festival director and one of the founders of the “Tricky Women Festival” in Vienna, Austria.
“Tricky Women” is the first and only festival of animated film in Europe that is dedicated exclusively to animation by
women. She studied theatre, film and media studies at the University of Vienna.

“Split Screen” é um filme experimental na qual Londres, nos dias de
hoje, é filmada através das lentes de duas câmeras “Edwardian handcranked”. É um filme Cubista na medida em que, a mesma cena é
representada simultaneamente por mais do que um ponto de vista.
‘Split Screen’ is an experimental film in which present-day London
is recorded through the lenses of two Edwardian hand-cranked film
cameras. It is a Cubist film insofar as the same scene is represented

em dia no nosso país o lobo ibérico encontra-se seriamente em risco
de extinção.

tale based in the history of Little Red Riding-Hood by Charles Perrault.
In the original story, it is the wolf that searches for Little Red RidingHood. In this photographic story, ironically, it is Little Red Riding-Hood
who searches for the wolf. Today in our times, in our country, the
Iberian wolf seriously finds itself at the risk of extinction.

A série de fotografias apresenta-se como o resultado de uma experimentação usando a técnica de retrato fotográfico clássico como base
para uma fotomontagem de estrutura aleatória segundo parametros
de aproximação e colagem de texturas. De imagens macro onde se
registam as texturas à escala 1:1 partimos para uma imagem última
que tenta harmonizar uma serie de texturas que não pertencem a
uma mesma imagem. Do real particular para um imaginário abstracto.
This series is the result of a digital experimentating with classic photo
portrait and random digital collage. The photomontage is based on
macro photo of skin texture and face elements sorted randomly in
software that processed the final image. An experimentation that goes
from reality to a random portrait.

If it is inevitable that life is in constant change... do politics move in par
with it?
“6.27 am” resulta da vontade de criar uma obra que explora a maneira
como o som pode influenciar a percepção sobre o tempo.
A relação do visual, neste caso o Preto e o Branco, com o som é sempre
altamente subjectivo. Neste caso prende-se não só através de uma
relação directa na estrutura - a primeira parte o branco e a segunda
o preto - como também na dicotomia entre o instrumento acústico
(branco) com o electrónico (preto).
“6.27 am” is the result of the will to create a piece that explores the
way that sound can influence the time perception.
The relation between the visual (in this case, the Black and White)
with sound is highly subjective. In this case the relation is not only in
the structure - the first part represents the white and the second the
black - but also in the dichotomy between the acoustic instrument
(white) with the electronic (black).

com pouco ou sem qualquer tratamento, de forma a, estar mais perto
das suas origens.
Free adaptation of The Glass Bead Game (1943) by Hermann Hesse
(1877-1962). To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the birth of concrete
music, I chose to use, almost all concrete sounds, with little or no treatment, so to be more close to the spirit of origins.
A luz da vida está submersa nas profundezas aquáticas mais inebriantes do mundo dos sonhos. A difusão da luz debaixo de água é
completamente diferente daquilo a que assistimos na atmosfera e o
espectro cromático mais rico de certa forma, sempre se me afigurou
que a luz é mais interessante lá em baixo, assim como a vida.
The light of life is submersed within the dreamworld’s most captivating and deep underwaters. The diffusion of light underwater is
completely different from what we see in the atmosphere and the
chromatic spectra. It is in a way richer. To me it always seemed that
the light is actually more interesting down under, so as life.

“Em cem anos, a animação transformou-se num meio complexo que se alargou para além de uma definição única. Nos
últimos vinte anos a animação ficou associada aos aspectos técnicos da tecnologia computorizada de certos estúdios,
como a “Pixar”, dominando a percepção do que é a animação no fim do século vinte e inícios do século vinte e um.
Ao mesmo tempo, a experimentação e a inovação trouxeram uma nova vida e vitalidade para a indústria, através da
combinação de técnicas novas com as tradicionais. Esta inovação atravessou uma vasta gama de temas e géneros explorados pelos animadores de hoje. Esta diversidade é reflectida no trabalho produzido pelos estudantes do curso de “Animation Arts” da UCA, Maidstone. Os estudantes do curso demonstram uma consistência, compreensão e apreço, sendo
a animação mais do que um processo técnico. O seu trabalho mostra uma sensibilidade que faz com que a animação
seja um meio de comunicação, e como tal, é através de uma pesquisa e design cuidados que o animador consegue trazer
meios diversos e técnicas para efectivamente expressar e comunicar as suas ideias. (…) O uso criativo das técnicas de
animação inibem-nos de apreciarmos o quão importante e bem sucedida é a animação a comentar questões contemporâneas. Tão larga exploração e experimentação da animação feita pelos estudantes da UCA Maidstone, permite-lhes
seguir novas direcções na animação e contribuir para o futuro da indústria.”

“For over a hundred years animation has developed into a complex medium that has stretched beyond a single definition. In the past twenty years animation has become associated with the technical aspects of computer technology with
studios such as Pixar dominating the perception of what animation is in the late twentieth and early twentieth first
century. At the same time experimentation and innovation has brought new life and vitality to the industry through
the combination of traditional and new techniques. This innovation has crossed over into a range of subjects and genres
currently explored by today’s animators. This diversity is reflected in the work produced by students on the Animation
Arts course at UCA Maidstone. Students in the course consistently show an understanding and appreciation that animation is more than a technical process. Their work shows an awareness that animation is a communicative medium, and,
as such, it is through careful research and design that the animator can bring together diverse mediums and techniques to effectively express and communicate their ideas. (...) Such a creative use of animation techniques enables us
to appreciate how important and successful animation is in commentating on contemporary issues. Such a breadth of
exploration and experimentation in animation of students at UCA Maidstone enables them to pursue new directions in
animation and contribute to the future of the industry.”

“(…) O trabalho artístico de José Maçãs de Carvalho (Anadia, 1960) tem vindo a reflectir - interferindo com base numa
acção interdisciplinar e disseminadora - sobre as relações de dependência e contaminação entre o processo criativo, a
imagem e a linguagem, operando, a partir desses conceitos, uma espécie de análise crítica em torno da fragmentação e
virtualização deceptiva do real contemporâneo.
(…) O seu trabalho tende, por isso, a reflectir situações de comunicação-limite, dessa forma evocando o paradoxo de uma
incomunicabilidade que se repercute como desafio à receptividade do espectador, obrigando-o frequentemente a uma
tomada de posição activa e consciente.
(…) o artista trabalha num registo dialéctico entre a sedução visual da imagem e o poder desestruturante da palavra (…).
Com efeito, é essa espécie de fricção linguística que impede o apogeu contemplativo da imagem e do seu sentido exclusivamente estético ou acrítico. Há deste modo uma decepção do expectável que funciona como antídoto à indiferença,
projectando assim uma hipótese não forçada de experiência reflexiva mais fecunda (…).
Podemos então afirmar que a fricção linguística conduz todo o trabalho deste artista, (quer seja em vídeo, fotografia,
ou noutros recursos disciplinares) determinando ao mesmo tempo o uso elaborado da imagem. Porém, este último
mantém-se operacional num plano oposto ao da sedução ou superficialidade comum ao nosso quotidiano imagético.
A imagem em José Maçãs de Carvalho é quase sempre convocada como expressão crítica do seu próprio universo
comunicacional, pois só a instrumentalização conceptual da imagem permite questionar os mecanismos de afirmação
e construção da identidade, reconhecendo e invertendo, na medida do possível, a manipulação exercida pelo grande espectáculo dos média, principais responsáveis pela disseminação progressiva da nossa percepção sobre as (in)diferenças
entre o real e o virtual.”
“(…) The artistic work of José Maçãs de Carvalho (Anadia, 1960) has come to reflect—interfering based on an interdisciplinary and disseminated action—the relationships of dependence and contamination between the creative process,
the image and the language, operating, a part from these concepts, a species of critical analysis around the deceptive
fragmentation and virtualization of the contemporary.
(..) His work tries, therefore, to reflect situations of limited communication, in this form evoking the paradox of an
incommunicability that reverberates as a challenge to the receptiveness of the spectator, frequently requiring of him to
take an active and conscious position.
(…) the artist works in a dialectical registry between the visual seduction of image and the destructive power of the word
(…) Indeed, it is this species of linguistic friction that impedes the contemplative peak of the image and of its exclusively
esthetic and uncritical meaning. There is thus a disappointment of the expected that functions as an antidote to the
indifference, projecting as a non-forced hypothesis of a more fruitful, reflexive experience (…).
We can then affirm that the linguistic friction leads the entire work of this artist, (be it in video, photography or other
disciplinary resources) determining at the same time the elaborate use of image. However, the latter maintains itself
operational in an opposite plane to that of the seduction or superficiality common to our everyday images. The image
in José Maçãs de Carvalho is almost always convened as a critical expression of its own communicational universe,
because only the conceptual instrumentalization of the image allows one to question the affirmation mechanisms and
the construction of identity, recognizing and inverting, as far as possible, the exercised manipulation through the grand
spectacle of media, principles responsible for the progressive dissemination of our perception over the (in)differences
between the real and the virtual.

Lust” transportam-nos para uma Nova Iorque dos anos 70, “Cuba 1970” passa
pela ilha nos anos quentes da revolução, ao passo que “Canção do Trabalho
D.C.” nos leva à ruralidade interior de um Portugal desconhecido.
Mais uma vez os Dead Combo rodeiam-se de ilustres convidados nacionais
e internacionais: Howe Gelb, Kid Congo Powers, Carlos Bica, Marco Franco,

The Dixie Boys, banda do Porto, quarteto que toca o Rockabilly dos anos 50.
Concertos por todo o Pais e Ilhas, Espanha e Itália. Para 2010 já estão agendados Festivais em Inglaterra, Itália, Holanda e Alemanha. O seu último trabalho
“Rockin’ Storm” com a primeira edição praticamente esgotada.
Destacam-se pela sua performance no palco muito irreverente, louca, enérgica,
fazendo recuar sempre o tempo, tanto em imagem, como na música.
The Dixie Boys, a band from Oporto, is a quartet that plays Rockabilly from the
1950s. They’ve had concerts throughout the whole country, islands, Spain and
Italy. They’re already scheduled to play in festivals in England, Italy, Holland and
Germany in 2010. The first edition of their last disc “Rockin’ Storm” has already
sold out.
They stand out with their irreverent, crazy and energetic stage performance,
always paying tribute to the past both with their image and their music.
