Abstract submissions

The PCIM South America in São Paulo, Brazil is following on
from the success of PCIM Europe and PCIM Asia, which take
place annually in Nuremberg (Germany) and Shanghai (China)
respectively. PCIM events are focused on all power electronics applications and solutions i.e. in the fields of intelligent
motion, renewable energy and energy management.
PCIM Awards
Selection process
The papers for both awards will first be nominated upon the submitted abstract. Afterwards the winners will be selected definite
upon the submitted final paper by the conference board members.
The papers of the winners will be highlighted in the proceedings.
Best Paper Award and Young Engineer Award
All papers are eligible for the Best Paper
Award nomination. The Best Paper Award
will be conferred at the PCIM South America
2014 Conference. The prizewinner will receive 500 Euro, the award and a certificate.
This international conference provides the perfect opportunity
for an exchange of ideas and dialogue between research,
product development and application. The adjacent exhibition
offers visitors the chance to meet the industry’s key players
face to face on the show floor.
Here’s your chance to showcase your work and to receive a
PCIM Best Paper Award. Share your expertise and submit
your digest/abstract for an oral or poster session at PCIM
South America 2014!
At a Glance
Criteria
– the author must be available to present the paper in person
– the paper should be original and topical
– the author should be no older than 30 years (at time of submission) for the Young Engineer Award

The content of the paper must be original and not have been either
previously presented or published. Details on how the presented
solution can be applied is critical for the selection of the paper.
