2. APLICAÇÃO
Para fixação em rocha em vias de escalada, a PinGo é projetada para acomodar uma corda e pelo menos mais um mosquetão.
Sua aba interna arredondada, reduz o desgaste dos mosquetões e permite a passagem de cordas sem rupturas ou danos ao material.
Nas escaladas, pode-se realizar o rapel sem a necessidade de abandono de fitas ou mosquetões, quando utilizados no mínimo dois pontos PinGo.
– Escalada, Montanhismo, Espeleologia, Canionismo e Resgate.
– Não utilizar a PinGo para içamento de cargas.
– Não utilizar a PinGo além do seu limite de esforço, nem utilizá-la para qualquer outra aplicação para a qual não foi projetada.

5. INSPEÇÃO VISUAL E TÁTIL
A BONIER recomenda a INSPEÇÃO PERIÓDICA minuciosa da PinGo e sua fixação (visual e tátil), por pessoa competente, pelo menos uma vez a cada 12 meses, ou regularmente
dependendo do ambiente de instalação (normal ou hostil) e das condições e frequência de uso.
ATENÇÃO:
Em ambientes corrosivos ou próximo ao mar recomenda-se a INSPEÇÃO PERIÓDICA mais frequente, afim de detectar possíveis pontos de corrosão.
ANTES DO USO:
Verificar meticulosamente a fixação da PinGo.
Verificar se o dispositivo não possui sinais de desgaste excessivo, trincas, deformações físicas ou químicas que comprometam o seu perfeito funcionamento.
INUTILIZAÇÃO: Em caso de avarias, deve-se remover o dispositivo imediatamente e providenciar a instalação de um novo.
Não é permitido alterar as características do produto, retirar, acrescentar, reparar ou substituir elementos sem a autorização prévia e por escrito do fabricante.
DURANTE O USO:
Realizar sempre, antes de cada utilização, inspeção visual e tátil da PinGo bem como de eventuais dispositivos que venham a ser conectados.
Observar a aparência externa dos componentes e dar atenção especial à fixação da PinGo na rocha, bem como o funcionamento e conexão dos mosquetões.
Atentar para as condições de uso e garantir o perfeito funcionamento do sistema, evitando esforços desnecessários (torções e flexões) e situações potencialmente perigosas como:
! Fator de queda elevado (2) ! Queda pendular ! Contato dos equipamentos com cantos vivos ou arestas ! Mãos próximas do ponto de contato entre a PinGo e o mosquetão ou corda.

REPAROS OU MODIFICAÇÕES NO EQUIPAMENTO, ISSO COLOCARÁ O USUÁRIO EM RISCO E
RESULTARÁ NA PERDA DE GARANTIA. - REALIZE INSPEÇÕES PERIÓDICAS NO EQUIPAMENTO.
6. COMPATIBILIDADE DE MATERIAIS
UTILIZAR APENAS ELEMENTOS DE AÇO INOX NA INSTALAÇÃO: (CHUMBADOR DE EXPANSÃO, PORCA E ARRUELA DE PRESSÃO), afim de evitar corrosão galvânica.
7. INSTALAÇÃO
Para instalação em paredes de escalada artificial entre em contato com a BONIER EQUIPAMENTOS.
INSTALAÇÃO EM ROCHA COM CHUMBADOR DE EXPANSÃO:
A. Certifique-se das boas condições, solidez e uniformidade da superfície de instalação. Limpe resíduos na área a ser perfurada.
B. Furar a rocha com diâmetro O/ 10mm e profundidade correspondente ao CHUMBADOR que será utilizado. *Ver instruções de uso do CHUMBADOR.
C. Limpar o furo com soprador. A retirada de todo resíduo e pó é essencial. Repetir o processo de limpeza se necessário.
D. Inserir a PinGo com o CHUMBADOR.
E. Nivelar a PinGo e torquear CHUMBADOR com o torque de 3kgfm. Certificar a boa fixação da PinGo na rocha. Observar o perfeito acoplamento do equipamento na PinGo.
ATENÇÃO: Nunca utilize a PinGo como agarra. Mantenha as mãos longe do ponto de contato entre a PinGo e o mosquetão ou corda. Jamais insira o dedo no PinGo.
F. Em parada ou reunião, a PinGo deve ser INSTALADA / UTILIZADA sempre aos pares, respeitando a distância mínima de 20cm ou 1palmo, uma da outra, em um arco de 60°.
ATENÇÃO: PinGo2 sempre à direita e mais alta, ou no máximo no mesmo nível da PinGo1. Nunca INSTALAR / UTILIZAR a PinGo2 à esquerda ou abaixo da PinGo1.

These instructions explain how to correctly use your equipment. Only certain techniques and
uses are described.
The warning symbols inform you of some potential dangers related to the use of your
equipment, but it is impossible to describe them all. Check Petzl.com for updates and
additional information.
You are responsible for heeding each warning and using your equipment correctly. Any misuse
of this equipment will create additional dangers. Contact Petzl if you have any doubts or
difficulty understanding these instructions.
1. Field of application
Type A anchor device (EN 795: 2012 type A) and rock anchor for protection against falls from
height.
For single-person use only.
Do not use this PPE for hauling equipment.
This product must not be pushed beyond its limits, nor be used for any purpose other than
that for which it is designed.
Responsibility
WARNING
Activities involving the use of this equipment are inherently dangerous.
You are responsible for your own actions, decisions and safety.
Before using this equipment, you must:
- Read and understand all Instructions for Use.
- Get specific training in its proper use.
- Become acquainted with its capabilities and limitations.
- Understand and accept the risks involved.
Failure to heed any of these warnings may result in severe injury or death.
This product must only be used by competent and responsible persons, or those placed under
the direct and visual control of a competent and responsible person.
You are responsible for your actions, your decisions and your safety and you assume the
consequences of same. If you are not able, or not in a position to assume this responsibility, or
if you do not fully understand the Instructions for Use, do not use this equipment.
2. Principal materials
COEUR STEEL: steel (S420MC).
COEUR STAINLESS: stainless steel (316L).
COEUR HCR: high corrosion resistant steel (904L).
3. Inspection, points to verify
Your safety is related to the integrity of your equipment.
Petzl recommends a detailed inspection by a competent person at least once every 12 months
(depending on current regulations in your country, and your conditions of usage). Follow the
procedures described at Petzl.com. Record the results on your PPE inspection form: type,
model, manufacturer contact info, serial number or individual number, dates: manufacture,
purchase, first use, next periodic inspection; problems, comments, inspector’s name and
signature.
It is recommended that you write the next inspection date on your product.
Before each use
Check the condition of the anchor: surface degradation, wear, corrosion, deformation, cracks.
During use
It is important to regularly monitor the condition of the product and its connections to the other
equipment in the system. Make sure that all items of equipment are correctly positioned with
respect to each other.
We recommend a regular inspection of the installation, in order to detect possible corrosion.
Near the sea or a corrosive environment, inspect more frequently.
4. Compatibility
Verify that this product is compatible with the other elements of the system in your application
(compatible = good functional interaction).
For anchor installations on a sea cliff, or in any other very corrosive environment, the lifetime of
the anchor is significantly reduced. It is best to use a material with good corrosion resistance
so that the lifetime of the installation is satisfactory.
For installation in an environment subject to stress corrosion, use only COEUR HCR hangers.
The carabiner used with the hanger must meet current standards in your country (e.g. EN 362
or EN 12275 connector depending on the type of application).
Use a bolt diameter that is appropriate for the hanger (e.g. 10 mm diameter bolt for 10 mm
diameter hanger).
Warning: do not combine bolts, nuts, washers or hangers of dissimilar metals.
5. Installing the anchor
Before installation, verify that the hanger and its means of attachment to the supporting
medium (e.g. bolt) are made of the same material.
For installation on an artificial climbing wall, contact Petzl for more information.
Example of installation with an expansion bolt:
Check the quality of the supporting medium around the anchor: make sure that the rock is
solid and uniform.
a. After cleaning the drilling area of any friable rock, drill a hole of the appropriate diameter and
depth (see the bolt’s Instructions for Use).
b. Clean the hole with a brush, then with a blower.
c. Push the bolt with the hanger in the hole and tighten the nut to the torque recommended in
the bolt’s Instructions for Use.
d. After each installation, verify that the quickdraw moves freely in the hanger. Warning: if the
bolt protrudes too much, it can hinder free movement of the quickdraw in the bolt hanger.
Removal:
Unscrew the nut and remove the hanger. Before reusing the hanger, carry out a detailed
inspection of it.
Strength
The anchor breaking strength values depend upon the quality of the supporting medium and
the quality of the placement.
Warning: in soft rock, the anchor strength may be reduced. It might be necessary to use a
longer or different type of anchor, and to conduct strength tests in the field.
6. Additional information
- When the anchor device is used as part of a fall arrest system, the user must be equipped
with a means of limiting the impact force, exerted on the user when the fall is arrested, to a
maximum value of 6 kN.
- The maximum load that can be transmitted to the structure by the anchor is on the order
of XX kN.
- You must have a rescue plan and the means to rapidly implement it in case of difficulties
encountered while using this equipment.
- The anchor point for the system should preferably be located above the user’s position and
should meet the requirements of the EN 795 standard (minimum strength of 12 kN).
- In a fall arrest system, it is essential to check the required clearance below the user before
each use, in order to avoid any impact with the ground or with an obstacle in case of a fall.
- Make sure that the anchor point is correctly positioned, in order to limit the risk and the
length of a fall.
- A fall arrest harness is the only device allowable for supporting the body in a fall arrest
system.
- When using multiple items of equipment, a dangerous situation can arise in which the safety
function of an item of equipment can be affected by the safety function of another item of
equipment.
- WARNING DANGER, take care that your products do not rub against abrasive or sharp
surfaces.
- Users must be medically fit for activities at height. WARNING: inert suspension in a harness
can result in serious injury or death.
- The Instructions for Use for each item of equipment used in conjunction with this product
must be followed.
- The Instructions for Use must be provided to the user of this equipment, in the language of
the country where the equipment is used.
- Make sure the markings on the product are legible.
When to retire your equipment:
WARNING: an exceptional event can lead you to retire a product after only one use, depending
on the type and intensity of usage and the environment of usage (harsh environments, marine
environment, sharp edges, extreme temperatures, chemicals...).
A product must be uninstalled and retired when:
- It has been subjected to a major fall (or load).
- It fails to pass inspection. You have any doubt as to its reliability.
- You do not know its full usage history.
- When it becomes obsolete due to changes in legislation, standards, technique or
incompatibility with other equipment...
Destroy these products to prevent further use.
