Mr. Alan Johnson, will become CFO of the Group, with responsibility for monitoring the
Investor Relations area and integrating the Executive Management Team of the Group.
Mr. Alan Johnson has a solid professional career in the financial area with strong international
experience.
The Board of Directors of Jerónimo Martins also decided to extinguish, at the 1st of January
2012, the Financial Matters Committee.
Mr. Luís Palha, ceasing its presidency of the above-mentioned committee will remain as
member of the Board of Directors of Jerónimo Martins, continuing his direct advisory to the
Chairman of the Board of Directors.
