Transportation
Sá Carneiro Airport
The Sá Carneiro Airport is close to the Porto city centre (approximately 15 km from the city centre).
The airport is served by the subway (Metro do Porto) and taxis.

Metro do Porto
The Metro do Porto is one of the best means of transport in the city of Oporto. It has four different
lines, whose stations can be found here.
Time: 06h00-01h30
Frequency: Every 10 minutes

To get to FEUP you should take line D (yellow) and get off at the “IPO” station. Leaving the metro
station "IPO", you should go all along street Dr. Plácido da Costa. At the end of this street, you will see
FEUP in front of you (in Rua Dr. Roberto Frias).
By car
If you come by car, you can park in the Visitors Park of FEUP, as shown in the figure. Please inform
either Ana Camanho or Joana Hora if you need to park a car, as this requires a pre-reservation of
space.

Taxi
A trip from the airport to the center of Oporto can cost about € 25. This rate increases by 20% for
Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and between 21.00 and 6.00 am on weekdays. In the case of
carrying a large bag, a supplement of € 1.60 may be charged.
