Follow us: Seminar and B2B meetings “Powering the future – Marine energy opportunities” Date: 5th of November 2009 Venue: Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB), Lisbon, Portugal The WavEC – Wave Energy Centre has invited Innovation Norway and the UK Trade & Investment to organise an one-day international event on “Powering the future – Marine Energy Opportunities”, on the 5th of November 2009 at CCB in Lisbon, Portugal. This event aims to reinforce business relationships on marine renewable energy sector between players from the country triangle Norway-UK-Portugal. The synergies of these 3 countries of the Atlantic Arch are evident and call for a better economic exploitation in this challenging and capital-intensive field. The event programme consist of a set of presentations in the morning, followed by Business to Business (B2B) meetings for all interested parties in the afternoon. The event gathered experts and business players from the UK, Norway and Portugal to enhance the dialogue, to promote business opportunities and to accelerate ocean energy technology development.
