[080322aac Agora – definition ] Agora is one of the major GlobeRelate-originated sub sites of GlobeRelate, and can additionally
be seen as extending throughout other parts this site. Agora is about action, collaboration, and management. The term was
taken from the marketplace and meeting area of ancient Greek city-states, and the term “marketplace” may come close to
capturing the essence of Agora.

Agora was conceived in response to the capacity of the internet to directly support not just commerce (of ideas as well as goods
and services) but action, and is an expression of the intention that GlobeRelate will be managed largely through postings. In
other words, postings on the site will be used to run the site and the GlobeRelate organization in a way and likely to an extent that
has never been done before by any organization.

Additionally, this will serve as a kind of pioneering effort, one that may presage an entire “Agora Economy” where tools and
techniques and the GlobeRelate environment itself will be made available to everyone. If successful, such an economy would
and will be revolutionary and could positively impact society and the environment.

It is a bit amazing to me the degree to which I had forgotten the EPP characteristics of my earlier Agora thinking. It is as though
that whole dimension of Agora was lost to my consciousness.

What made me think of this was Talking Head, where I could basically broadcast a message into cyberspace that I need someone
to play the part of Hand, and I could use writers to help me come up with Head or Hand puns and humor that I could slip in to
make the sequences entertaining, and I could use writers to work just about independently of me to come up with Hand “skits” or
routines that could be inserted into Webcambs where there were no visuals required.


FMS-11111
The point is that I can not only put together project plans on Charge Pages, I can see them as invitations for others to participate.
I can do a Talking Head sequence where I talk about my need for help in making Talking Head be the kind of tool it can be. I can
say why I am doing it and I can acknowledge that while only I will be able to select and articulate the words that Talking Head
says, there is plenty of room to support me in generating and producing the Webcambs that are more entertaining (via Hand) and
more numerous (because so much of the load is taken off my shoulders).

In other words I started to see the Galatean possibility of this and realized both how central that sort of thinking was to my original
conception of Agora, and just how much I had forgotten that component of it.

abC9-S_GR_bootstrap
Another aspect of this is the bootstrap characteristics of it, where I would start as an individual or perhaps with someone else
playing “Hand” and as the project gained momentum I would be able to farm out aspects of it so I could concentrate on what I am
good at. For example, aside from others playing Hand and writings scripts for Hand and doing production work, an actor could
even play the role of Head for me. I wouldn’t necessarily even need to write the script for what Head says – I could simply
provide the message I wanted to deliver and approve the script that was developed from it (until I got confident enough in my
script writers that I wouldn’t even have to do that). This would enable me to leverage my time, spending less and less of it on
what others could do as well or better than I can, and more on what I am good at, the original thinking.

Welcome to Agora
Agora is one of the most exciting and dynamic components of GlobeRelate, in no small part because it is rapidly evolving.
Agora is named after the marketplace in Greek city-states, and is intended to be a marketplace of commerce, but also of ideas.

08-04-05b2 FMS-11111
As I am launching this site I will be actively using Agora as the starting point from which I manage projects. For such a use I
can proceed without participation by anyone else, exploring and demonstrating how projects can be managed and organized
entirely online, exploring the “action” potential of static web pages in a practical nuts-and-bolts kind of way.

08-04-05b3 FMS-11111
At some point, though, Agora cannot be developed without participation of others, any more than a marketplace could exist with
any less than two participants. For now though my use of this sub-site will be enough to suggest the possibilities of Agora.

08-04-05b4 FMS-11111
I should add that I have done considerable thinking on the topic of Agora, and this GR-Home Page is also the central access
point for that body of thought. I plan to develop those ideas and gather them together into a PostPub.

I have thought previously of “Agora” as an action center. This could be my chance to make that vague conception a reality. I
don’t have to treat the “Agora” GR-Home page as about the theory of Agora – my “Agora” PostPub will be a sub-set of the site,
or linked to from it. Rather, I can have a “Projects” page within Agora, and a “Build GlobeRelate” as a page referenced by that.

could well include Agora features like auction sites, marketplaces, and who knows what else.

As I look at the GR Home Page I was wondering how to get to something like Agora or Synapsite. I think the thing to focus on
is to not force it. If there is no natural center to “Agora” beyond my text explanations of it, don’t try to make one. People may
not know what Agora or EPP are, but a basketball coach may find it handy not only to post the plays he wants his players to use
so they can look at them and print them out, but also to use materials others have posted for the benefit of his own team. The
concrete manifestation of the theory of Agora is reached by going to BBallSite, the theory by going to “Agora.”

I don’t want to run this into the ground, but there is another thought here. I am looking at a new way of running an organization
and trying to figure out just what Agora is. What if this manner of converting thought into action in a non-directed, nonhierarchical way becomes at least a key means of “running” Agora? What if this kind of idea-as-dormant-invitation-to-action is
in fact a large part of how Agora works? Does that tremendously increase the potential impact of all of my thinking to this
point? [to 07-11-04f1]

(e.g. “07-06-10d”) and about how the entrepreneurial model could apply
I was thinking about setting up markets
here (see 07-1027d1) just as it does in other areas of GlobeRelate such as the opening up of mgp pages and Satforms. This may not be a new
idea but it strikes me that it is very powerful, and could be fundamental both to Agora and to the Agora Economy, and I don’t
think I really “got” that before.

I see GlobeRelate as being built by entrepreneurs. What could be a more potent means of doing that than setting up
marketplaces for particular kinds of internet deliverable goods and services? Again, GlobeRelate would be providing the
framework, and individual entrepreneurs would be doing the actual building, not unlike the way small businesses build most of
the economy through people earning their living by providing services and goods to other people.

In focusing as I just have been on Agora, I keep seeing myself jumping from one area of my GlobeRelate thinking to another. It
is almost as if I am orchestrating my exposure to the parts of GlobeRelate so I can better grasp it as a whole. In practical terms,
it would be better to focus just on webcambs and webcamb production. But I just intuitively had the sense that now was the
time to reexamine “Agora” and so that is how I have spent my time.


FMS-11111
Because I have it all in an XSM, I have a rich collection of thoughts to operate from and to access. There is not much process of
pulling things together because the Idea Processor structure I have in place has done much of the work of that for me. So I can
now quickly go over what is there, and quickly return to the other work I was doing. I will have gotten some new insights about
Agora, but will also have refreshed my memory of past thinking. In so doing, I will for a time be more able to make connections
or be inspired to insights about Agora that would not have otherwise surfaced.

I probably should note another shift that comes from focusing on webcambs as my means of setting all of this in motion. I wrote
in “07-05-09d” that I need to be concerned about pressure that would come to establish the GlobeRelate into a traditional
structure. Operating from the webcambs I could in fact just start operating GlobeRelate in the Agora structure, whatever that
turns out to be. I can just use it to make whatever happens happen, using this kit of tools I have invented. If there is a
compulsion to revert to a more traditional structure, it won’t be forced on me from the outside, it will be something I personally
have concluded is necessary.

The “Idea to Action” component of GlobeRelate, currently best illustrated by the work I am doing on Charges, may be what
clearly binds Agora to GlobeRelate. Maybe it could spill over into other venues and maybe not.

For my own part, I am writing a lot of ideas, and these are supported by a lot of GlobeRelate infrastructure (XSM’s, perhaps
w2o, transparency, Conceptory rights, etc) that makes me want to post what I write here. In addition to that infrastructure there
is also infrastructure where I can express an idea and it can be efficiently and directly converted into actions that can be
coordinated (through Charges).

One thing that would seem to integrate Agora into GlobeRelate is the use of Utility Functions. Someone else could emulate
utility functions, but they may not pay as close attention to ensuring they are defined with precision and operated with integrity.
If another site has them, it would have to earn the trust of people that they are in fact the same kind of tool on that site as they
are in GlobeRelate. With a few bad experiences users might just throw up their hands and turn away not just from the sites that
don’t manage Utility Functions well but from all sites, simply because they know they can trust GlobeRelate and they don’t
want to spend the time needed to determine if they can trust the other site.

07-10-27a2
FMS-11111
In addition, the vocabulary within GlobeRelate would take some learning. If there is an “Action” Utility Function, what does
that button lead to? A user could learn what it means in GlobeRelate, but it could mean something entirely different in another
site. Why hassle with learning two different sets of meanings?

07-10-27a3
FMS-11111
Or maybe there would be an “Accountg 101” button, leading to a predictable page where accounting figures are organized in a
certain way, perhaps so they can be copied and pasted into a preset form producing predictable results. Even if GlobeRelate
defined it and everyone else respected that definition, why would anyone want to go to another site to use it when everything a
business could want is already built in to GlobeRelate.

I will also be setting up infrastructure which enables people posting the Charges and Charge structures to set the terms for

As I work on Charges for the Ginger Cove w2o site, it is important to remember that I am doing so not only to collect the ideas
and to manage the project, but to demonstrate Agora in general and Charges in particular. Anyone taking the time to learn to
“read” a set of Charges will realize, first, that there are many more opportunities at Ginger Cove than anyone will be able to
tackle alone, and certainly more than I have taken on myself. But they will also start to “get” what a transparent business would
look like, and even get a tasted of how an EPP-based economy would operate.



FMS-11111
I am not naïve to the certainty that people will abuse this arena and try to harm others there. There certainly will still need to be
policing. But by forcing people to operate entirely in the open, or at least largely in the open, every action will be subject to
scrutiny. Catching miscreants will be easier, and disguising ill intent and criminality will be far more difficult.

So after writing “07-07-02L” I could ask “what is Agora?” In the
example, offices operate using Charges. Charges can be
published, pulled off-the-shelf, and modified for the use of an office (generating Conceptory for their writers). The office I
described uses open marketplaces for people to do labor, and defines the terms of the work being done by referencing posted
Charges. The whole process is transparent, increasing the likelihood that people will be on good behaviour in making deals,
performing contracts, and setting prices. There are opportunities for generating Conceptory value, but also for contributing to an
open-source collection of resources that are valuable in teaching architects and helping them run their offices. All of this draws
substantially on GlobeRelate as a platform and as a mindset. I don’t know if it can be replicated elsewhere, but if it gets
established in GR first, the question would arise as to why one would want to try (replicating).

get permission from someone to use their name openly. Only time and experience will determine this. But in general I could

Agora is a platform that GlobeRelate provides for organizations (including businesses) to operate. The GlobeRelate
organization will itself be run largely or entirely from that platform. Any enterprise on that platform will operate with
unprecedented transparency and accountability (hopefully resulting in integrity), will tap the internet as a marketplace for
services, and will rely substantially on “Digital Language” for its operations. This will be seen as a demanding environment in
which to do business, but also a rewarding one as those who participants are bound by the same high standards of conduct and

[from 07-05-15a5] The least developed and, for now, the most important component of GlobeRelate is Agora. One
key aspect of
Agora is that I intend to run the site by using the site. I certainly have set that in motion, using Open Letters, and
communicating through VBT, including feedback buttons, at least having a basic concept in place for Action Nodes and Utility
Functions, etc. The challenge at this moment, as we start to make GlobeRelate real as an organization just as I have already
done a lot to make it real as a site, is to start from the very beginning to handle the most mundane, “practical” needs of the
organization by applying
Agora concepts. The idea is to make things happen by writing, structuring the site to facilitate the process.

building the enterprise, they are the creation of the means by which I intend to build and run the enterprise. This is already in
motion, with the use of open letters and feedback buttons in place, but I couldn’t be more aware that what is in place so far is
only a start. But it is a start, and my obligation now, if I want to be true to the vision of the site, is to build on that start and take
it as far as “practicality” will allow me to take it.

functions on the site, and getting so I know the site inside and out. I have no doubt that if Agora is in fact going to be real, it will
start with my commitment to discovering just how an operation can be run, down to the scheduling of meetings and sharpening

[11111-070412aba.htm Agora – XSM Node] This will be a large, unruly Idea Set for quite a while, reflecting the newness of
Agora as a concept and the resulting wide-ranging thinking about what it is and how it will work. As Agora starts to take shape
no doubt there will be Idea Sets defined and pulled from this XSM, some of the Expressions here will be shown to be false leads
and will be removed, and this will otherwise begin to get more clearly structured. But for now this represents the energy and
diversity of an idea in its early formulative stages, and if read in that spirit could be very useful.

[11111-070412aba.htm Agora – review] Even at this early formative stage this XSM identifies key elements of what Agora
will look like and include. Anyone who wants to have input into the shape of Agora will be well advised to go through this
XSM. It may inspire additional thinking that will then be included in the Idea Set, refining what is here or opening up whole
new lines of thought. So long as the reader approaches this in the right spirit, with expectations of thinking that is still very
much in progress, this will be an interesting and stimulating collection of thoughts and observations.

[11111-070412aba.htm Agora – tasks] There is tremendous work to be done not just with thinking about Agora but about
structuring and relating the thoughts that are already here. This will include linking this category to other categories (XSM’s)
and clarifying relationships between linked topics. For example, how does “Agora” relate to “EPP?” Are they the same thing,
and if not what are the distinctions between them? But this will also require continued collection of new Expressions, and the
collection of some Expressions into new categories which can then be removed from this Idea Set and linked to it. That just
starts to describe work that will be involved in making the transition from the XSM as it is now and the more mature collection
of XSM’s that this is sure to become.

I can reference broader roles for the task than the task itself. For example, anyone doing just about anything right now will also
be taking on the role of pioneering contributor to GlobeRelate. That is not in the actual description of the role, but it certainly is
a critical component of it and a critical element of their contribution to GlobeRelate at this stage of its existence. There could be
a “Pioneering Dimension” link in the Linkdex at the bottom of the page which would go to a page that outlines that aspect of the
project.

07-03-26p3
FMS-11111
The “Pioneering Dimension” page is something I could reference from just about every project page, and could update it as it
changes so the updates would be available globally. Right now anyone working on any project is making a much greater
contribution in the role of pioneer than they could possibly be making in doing the actual work defined by the project. I could
state that in the text of the “Pioneering Dimension” page. As more and more people participate, that would shift and I would
rewrite the page to reflect that, to the point that any Pioneering value is no longer generalized to GlobeRelate as a whole, but
specialized. No one is a pioneer in legitimizing GR, but there are still opportunities to pioneer GlobeRelate in localities (like
Baton Rouge) and in specialty areas (like battlefield historical platforms).


Are there other roles than “pioneer” that could be handled this way? I don’t need to answer that question now, because as they

there would be a “Hidden Contributions” line item in the Trailing Linkdex that would explain what hidden contributions are
about, and would also let the reader know that there is a HidCon Utility Function attached to the page.

I am also thinking of one filter for Agora thinking, and that is that it is something concrete, something that can be defined as a
real component of Agora. In other words, this is not about theory (like EPP) this is about actual policy, actual rules, an actual
organizational structure that is in place to get actual work done. I might think theoretically how a contract might be written and
compensated for by Conceptory, but I can also say that such a process is an actual component of Agora that I want to bring about
in reality. Including a theoretical example such as that in the Agora category basically gives the green light for efforts to bring it
about.

Look at “06-12-07w2” and see how what seems now to necessarily be a function
of an organization (like a corporation) could
instead be done through individual initiative. Instead of hiring people to do work, they do work and accrue the prestige and
respect that enables trust. Now there are personnel departments and bosses assessing people and resume’s. In this model, what
gets assessed is their work, which is the reason for hiring someone – the work they will do, not their effectiveness in
representing (or misrepresenting) the work they will do.

07-03-24o2
FMS-11111
I just had a flash that if in fact I have created a continuum of monetary and non-monetary rewards (through Conceptory), this
could also result in a continuum between employee and non-employee. That doesn’t really state it so well, because individual
entrepreneurs are not ever quite hired, except the tenth of a percent (or less) who end up a part of the GlobeRelate core. But they
do the work that in an organization one would expect employees to do. Only they do it on their own, Peer Production style, but
also aware that if they do well enough, and make the right choices of what they do in the first place, they stand to earn money,
perhaps a lot of it.

07-03-24o3
FMS-11111
Maybe at this point all I have to do is start imagining work that someone could perhaps be hired to do, and imagine it done
instead using the EPP model. If I can collect enough examples, and if I can get clearer on where this will work well and where
not so well, I can start to articulate what an EPP organization would look like. This obviously will get less and less hypothetical
as I set the GlobeRelate Agora in motion.

07-03-24o4
FMS-11111
For example, I could imagine a standard contract between advertiser and author that needs to be written. Thinking traditionally,
my organization would assess which lawyers were good, and not excessively expensive, would select one and agree on a price,
and would have them do the work. The EPP solution to the problem would be to articulate the problem and invite someone to
solve it. Their incentive would be the Conceptory they create. If no one immediately responds, GR could start contacting
lawyers and suggesting that they take on the task. As a last resort, it could go the traditional route and hire the lawyer.

07-03-24o5
FMS-11111
The EPP solution would have minimal involvement of some core organization, and once the Conceptory value of GR was
established, the problem might not be too little response, but too much. Too many lawyers might poste potential contracts.
Then someone could step in and post an analysis of the different options, accompanied by a list of their credentials. Someone
else might step in and rate credentials, someone which was essentially an institution that was extensively respected (American
Bar Association?).

AGORA. Agora is fundamental to each other section, because it is through the efforts of many self-motivated individuals, in an
essentially cooperative, non-hierarchical structure, that will build and operate the site. One of the earliest decisions made about
GlobeRelate was that it would not be a structure of top-down management, but a framework within which individual initiative
determined what got built. This site, this job is too big to be run centrally. It is not unlike eBay not getting involved in what is
bought or sold, but providing a framework for individuals to make the decisions and set the agendas, to take the risks and earn
the rewards. But Agora will not just be a framework that manages initiative, it will be an open-source organization that is itself a
product of individual initiative, subject to improvement and upgrade as GlobeRelate users see opportunities for improvement.

But the first counter-thought that came to mind for me was that of grid map graphics. Selling a graphic that was generated to
Satform owners is, according to my current concept of how this will work, a sure means for people to earn money building the
site that is not directly related to Conceptory. In fact, the MGP’s as Conceptory might well belong to someone else (or to
GlobeRelate). Yet the ability to generate and sell such graphics is important to have users generate the site on their own
initiative. So at the very least, Conceptory is not the exclusive generator of value.


I have also thought of other income generators (value creators) such as paying to place the name of a Satform or other pages in a

LEGAL. There are a number of issues that need to be addressed. One key need is that of protecting intellectual property,
particularly including terms such as “World 2.0” and “Conceptory.” We also need advice on copyright implications in certain
areas. There are also issues regarding the rights to map images that will be used in World 2.0 pages. In a different arena,
perhaps not in the realm of legal advice, we need to look at options of how to set up GlobeRelate as an organization
(corporation? Non-profit?).

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT. There are any number of possibilities for software that will arise with respect to GlobeRelate,
but my expectation is that many of these will be solved, easily or with difficulty, through the initiative of individual
programmers in much the same way they improve Linux and other peer-produced software. However, there is one critical class
of software that could make the difference between a GlobeRelate that slowly builds momentum toward reaching its potential
and one that explodes in that direction. That software would take tables of information and automatically generate and
regenerate web pages like this one, as well as the Map Grid Pages used in World 2.0. Backing up a bit, someone with
substantive experience in software development and a capacity to keep my thinking and expectations of what can be done in
touch with reality would be an invaluable resource at this point. For much more on software, select the button to the left.

WEB SITE DESIGN. It has been almost painful to build this site with my (Michael Smith’s) extremely limited skills and poor
tools. But it was important to proceed both to start to communicate what GlobeRelate is about and to test the logical structure of
the site. My hope is that the autogeneration of pages discussed above will be the next step, but there may need to be an interim
step of using better software to remake these pages. There are certain aspects of GlobeRelate which don’t use standard web
page design techniques which are fundamental to GlobeRelate (e.g. static content on pages with unchanging addresses). I will
likely need help with rebuilding these pages. However my preeminent need right now is the advice of someone with the
expertise to show me what is possible and point me in the direction of achieving it. But such an advisor must also be flexible
enough to understand why GlobeRelate has been set up as it has, and work with me to not compromise the vision. [to 07-0322a1]

I want to say one more thing before moving on to the “Needs” page. I am covering a lot of territory, and am using my best
judgment in formulating my requests in various areas. In areas where I do not have expertise, my requests may betray my
ignorance to a point that could be downright embarrassing. My first request to you is that where I am off the mark, if you do
have the missing expertise, please lend me a hand. The goal of all this is so worthy and the opportunity is so great that it is
worth it to me to risk looking (and probably being) foolish. If what is needed now is to put something wrong on the table in
order to replace it with something that is valid, so be it. [to 07-03-21q]

The thing about Agora/EPP with respect to the Carr/Benkler wager is not only that GlobeRelate doesn’t have a stake in either
outcome, it lets the outcome find its own level. I am providing a continuum where in the end the value of Conceptory will not
be enough to motivate participation, while the pure Peer Production values of this site will.


FMS-11111
If I had to make my own wager, it would be that this will start as a pure Peer Production model, and will, fairly quickly, shift to
an Entrepreneurial Peer Production model. But this will be a big tent, where monetary and non-monetary motivations will exist
side-by-side, from the start and then forever. There will be no “professionals/suckers” dichotomy. Anyone who is in it for the
satisfaction would be as eligible to earn money as anyone who is in it for the money (and perhaps could earn as much or more
because theirs would be a labor of love). Anyone who wants to jealously guard their altruism could simply direct their earnings
back into GlobeRelate, or to a favorite charity.

One component of Agora would be simply “setting up markets.” I was just thinking that people could submit pages to GR that
are “PostPub-ready.” It seemed to me that would not be such a big deal. It then occurred to me that someone could offer that
service to any writer, and that people who provided that service efficiently without need for GR to check their work would get a
lower per-page rate for posting.

07-03-19k2
FMS-11111
What I can imagine the standard business model of GlobeRelate would have in place to get that necessary work done is the
ability to set up a market. GlobeRelate would publicize the need and set up the mechanism for buyers and sellers of that service
to get together. Any entrepreneur who wanted to take the task on could start doing the work. An unemployed autoworker in
Lansing could start to earn money doing this work on their computer, helping out someone in Santa Fe who needed their
autobiography converted to GlobeRelate format.

07-03-19k3
FMS-11111
The market need not even depend on GlobeRelate software or resources. Maybe someone figures out a way to set up such a
market using eBay, or perhaps someone in eBay sees the potential and sets up the market structure there. Then GlobeRelate’s
role would be simply to let people know that such a marketplace exists, and if Google or Yahoo sets up a competitive market, to
let people know that such a market exists.

07-03-19k4
FMS-11111
Taking it a step further, GlobeRelate could advertise for someone to set up a market for free, but would reserve space for that
person to write up their procedures and experiences, and perhaps a How-to model. In effect, GlobeRelate would be paying the
entrepreneur in Conceptory.

marketplace of ideas becomes the generator of actions. It is where offers are made and accepted, where people connect to make

But grasp the conceptual framework of the Agora, the most useful concept we apply in GlobeRelate is that of “Entrepreneurial
Peer Production” (abbreviated as “EPP”). This is a harnessing of the kind of participation that builds Wikipedia and built Linux

transparency of GlobeRelate will not be optional but structural. The way business is done will be open from the start. And
despite seeming to be a burden, we anticipate that this will be liberating to every ethical participant in the GlobeRelate

The Agora has far and away the least clearly defined form of the four main GlobeRelate components (World 2.0, PostPublishing,
Synapsite, and Agora). This is partly because it is the newest of the four, with less time to organize and integrate its
components, but it is also because its form will be defined by its function, in action. What will ultimately generate the structure
of the Agora will be people using it, discovering what tools work to most efficiently channel efforts and make opportunities
accessible. Bad ideas will be stripped away, and good ideas will be displaced by better ones. In the process we will verify the
importance of fundamental concepts, but we will also discover new ones and move to protect and institutionalize them.

If I have an “Action” button that someone selects, does that take you to the “Operations” section of the site? All it would take is
a label, perhaps along with some means of tracking all the action pages. Say I have a request to do some kind of action – shape
an XSM, edit or comment on a posted page of a book, write some software. Shouldn’t I be tracking such requests? And is
tracking them all that it takes to put such pages under the umbrella of “Operation?”

Do I dare proceed with an “Operations” section without thinking it through a bit more? Wouldn’t it take a substantial bit of
redevelopment of the site if my thinking about that section turns out to be wrong? Or can I just be careful not to refer to it very
extensively in other writings until I am sure it is a go?

One aspect of this I should look at is that the serious development of the Utilities Buttons is a critical, and perhaps very creative
endeavor. This is not something I should go over lightly, this could actually be the engine of the action side of GlobeRelate.
This might be the key to making EPP and “run by write” actually happen.

What I am saying is that the focus on getting the Utility Button Link functions so they are clearly defined, and set up to perform
specific tasks will be critical and worth considerable time and attention. This could be the structuring of an organization, the
DNA of a business model. The business could build itself out of the functions in the Utility Panel.

Right from the start I can have a “Biz” button on a page that takes you to the terms for different tasks that I am offering people
who want to take on various responsibilities. I can have a % of ad revenues, and a not-to-exceed amount for various tasks. For
example I could have the following:

Not to Exceed / % / Task description:
$50 / 5% / Test all hyperlinks on this page, make sure they go to proper pages etc. Also, all have correct ScreenTips.
$15 / 5% / Correct grammer and spelling for this page, price is per correction (i.e. 2 corrections yields $30).
$150 - $300 / 20% / Major editing. Suggest better ways of expressing, point out what is not clear, etc.
$100-$300 / 20% / Selecting among the above, incorporating changes, directing income streams to people whose suggestions are
accepted (this person will be selected entirely at the discretion of the author, and is usually someone he has worked with).

I could open this up to anyone to help me out (anyone who has an aSN). They have only to attach a comment to the page, like
anyone can submit a link or a passage page. These would simply be collected using a Linkdex, with the person making the
suggestion indicating by code which kind of input he/she is providing.
