CONFIGURAÇÃO DA REDE WI-FI PUC
MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP
ATENÇÃO: Essa configuração exige que o Windows XP possua o Service Pack 3 instalado.
ATTENTION: This procedure requires your Windows XP to have Service Pack 3 installed.
1. Clique sobre o ícone de rede Wi-Fi, na parte inferior e à direita da área de trabalho.
Click the Wireless icon in the System Tray, at lower-right of your computer desktop.
2. Clique em “Alterar configurações avançadas”.
Click the “Change advanced settings” option.
3. Clique na aba “Redes sem fio” e depois no botão “Adicionar”.
Click the “Wireless Networks” tab, and then the “Add” button.
4. Digite as configurações abaixo:
Enter the following configuration:
Nome da rede/Network Name (SSID):
Wi-Fi PUC
Autenticação da rede/Net. Authentication: WPA
Criptografia de dados/Data Encryption:
TKIP
Não clique em “OK” agora.
Do not click “OK” now.
5. Clique na aba “Autenticação” e selecione a opção “Protected EAP (PEAP)”. Clique no botão
“Propriedades”
Click the “Authentication” tab and select the “Protected EAP (PEAP) option”. Click the
“Properties” button.
6. Desmarque a opção “Validar certificado no servidor”. Selecione o método de autenticação
“Senha segura (ESP-MSCHAP v2)”. Em seguida, clique no botão “Configurar...”.
Uncheck the “Validate server certificate” box. Select the “Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP
v2)” authentication method, and then click the “Configure…” button.
7. Desmarque a opção na janela “Propriedades EAP MSCHAPv2” e clique em “OK”.
Uncheck the only option in the “EAP MSCHAPv2 Properties” Window, and click “OK”.
8. Aguarde aparecer uma mensagem, como mostrada abaixo, na barra de tarefas e clique
sobre ela.
Wait until a message, as shown below, appears at the taskbar and then click on it.
9. Na janela abaixo, digite o login e senha, e clique em “OK”.
On the dialog box, enter the credentials as indicated below.
10. Aguarde até a conexão estar estabelecida.
That’s all. Wait for the connection.
