As part of the World Health Day celebration, the City Hall of Santa
Cruz, in partnership with the Natural Park, the Azores Geopark,
Sport Service and Heatlh Unit, invites you to join in this 9,5km walk
of high difficulty level. Also, be part of the screening for diabetes,
hypertension and obsesity, organized at the end of the trail. Join us!

An Adventure in the Volcano

In partnership with the district of Agualva and Geopark Azores, we
invite you to join this 4km trail of low difficulty level, on the northern
coast of the island. Enjoy the landscape, partially inserted in the
Protected Area for the Management of Habitats or Species of Costa
das Quatro Ribeiras, also classified as Special Area of Conservation
(SAC), under the Natura 2000 Network.
The Interpretation Centre of Capelinhos Volcano, in partnership
with the Azores Geopark, opens its doors for one night for children
between 10-14 years. Participants will spend an unforgetable night
of jokes and adventure! Limited registrations until April 7.

Join in the laughter therapy session and learn about the effects that
this technique can have for you and for others, as well as its physical
and emotional benefits. We have chosen an ideal location, in harmony
with Nature, in order to encourage the interaction inside each group
during the exercises. After all, laughter is a social act and sharing is

of Portugal (CNE), Portuguese Society for the Study of Birds
(SPEA), Azores Geopark and Health Unit, we invite you to be part
of this 3,5km trail of low difficulty level. Take this walk to remember
the importance of physical activity, and at the end, you can perform
an screening of blood persure and diabetes. We are counting on
