Fernanda Lima Sakr BArch MSc Project Consultant Fernanda Sakr is a registered architect and urban planner in Brazil since 2007. She graduated from Mackenzie University, São Paulo and continued her academic training at the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies, University College London (UCL). She completed an MSc in Advanced Architectural Studies with a thesis on the central area of São Paulo, Brazil. Academically, her interests extend further to public spaces, performance of spaces within mixed-used schemes and urban scale master plans. While her bachelor’s degree, Fernanda developed extra-curricular research with scholarship grant and was part of different research groups. She also participated in the book Urban Condenser – Under the Café viaduct: Academia Cora Garrido published in Portuguese in 2008. The project in the book was exhibited in the 7th International Architecture Biennale São Paulo (2007) and 4th International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (2009). Fernanda joined Space Syntax as project consultant in March 2011, and in the past years she has been involved in different interdisciplinary projects both in the UK and Brazil including residential schemes, master plans and public spaces. During her time at Space Syntax Fernanda has worked with different projects in London.
