Welcome to Regis College...
For over eight decades, Regis College
has prided itself on reading the sign of the times
and responding to the educational needs of different
populations of students by the thousands. Today, the
growth of knowledge and the demands of living in the
twenty-first century require that we break out of the
traditional modes of educating students, especially as
the rising generations and the professions have become
increasingly interdisciplinary and electronic. As such,
Regis College is committed to providing undergraduate
liberal arts programs that lead students to opportunities
for success in the workplace.
We refer to it as Regis’ Pathways of Achievement,
which integrates sets of disciplines to help our students identify, set, pursue and
attain their ultimate goals. On the foundation of our core curriculum, requirements
for majors/minors and superb advising, the Pathways assist students in finding their
way—to careers, to graduate school and beyond.
Bring Your Purpose.
Come and see for yourself. This lovely campus will give you a taste of your own
capacity for excellence as a way of life, and where a myriad of possibilities await you.
Mary Jane England ’59, MD
President
Mission Statement
Regis College, through education in the arts,
sciences, and professions, empowers women
and men to challenge themselves academically,
to serve and to lead. A Catholic college,
Regis College is a diverse and welcoming
community guided by the values of the
Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston.
What Sets Regis College Apart...
Find Your Path.
Career-focused education
Nationally-recognized programs
Within the backdrop of a strong liberal arts
foundation, your Regis College education will
be career-focused. From the day you step onto
campus, you will be encouraged to participate in
career workshops and work closely with faculty
advisors and counselors alike to plan and pursue
a path of study that is tailored to your interests
and professional goals.
Regis College is ranked by The Princeton
Review as being one of the top Northeast
colleges in the United States that “stands out
as an academically excellent institution of
higher learning.”
In addition, Regis appears in the most
recent guidebook edition of Colleges of
Distinction, where it was lauded as being
among a set of “hidden gem” schools in higher
education that excel at the four pillars of a
strong and active undergraduate experience—
engaging students, providing outstanding
teaching, offering vibrant communities and
producing successful outcomes.
Regis College’s School of Nursing, Science,
and Health Professions is also the only school
in New England to be recognized as a Center of
Excellence in Nursing Education by the National
League for Nursing.
Experience the difference
At Regis College, our students learn by doing.
While many schools offer experiential learning,
Regis infuses its curriculum with it, through an
array of internships, service projects, applied
research and study-abroad opportunities that
extend learning well beyond the classroom walls
and places students into the real world.
Talented faculty who care
Regis College faculty are exceptionally
accomplished; 75 percent hold doctoral degrees
in their fields. They are actively engaged in their
disciplines, conduct research, publish books
and articles, and are recognized as leaders in
their fields of expertise. Moreover, as educators,
they take enormous pride in recognizing the
profound responsibility they have to provide our
students with a solid foundation for living,
learning and leading successfully.
Investing for you
Regis College is home to a new $8.5 million
outdoor athletic complex. For use by our varsity
athletic teams and student intramural programs,
the state-of-the-art site is regarded to be one of
the premier all sport, outdoor playing facilities
in all of New England small college athletics. It
features a synthetic turf field for field hockey,
soccer and lacrosse, an eight-lane track and
field events area, six tennis courts and a softball
field facility.
Investing in you.
Regis College firmly believes in investing in the potential of our students. Last year, over 90
percent of our incoming freshman class received a merit scholarship or need-based funding from
us, and we allocated over $12 million in institutional aid to our overall student body.
More importantly, these awards helped to reduce the average student’s cost of attendance
by over 35 percent! In addition, many of our families apply for—and receive—federal and state
aid that is separate from these Regis awards and can further be applied to tuition, room and
board expenses.
1
Student/Faculty Ratio of 13:1
The Regis College Pathways of Achievement are focused in our two
schools, the School of Liberal Arts, Education and Social Sciences and
the School of Nursing, Sciences and Health Professions. Certain
academic majors, cluster within each Pathway, providing you with a
multitude of options—and career opportunities—to choose from.
What’s more, you’ll find it all within the context of a highly personalized,
small college environment where the interaction between faculty and students
is at the core of the classroom experience.

Paving the Path for Career Success
Our rigorous curriculum is designed to
reflect the realities of today’s world as we
challenge our students to examine theories,
explore concepts and pursue practical
applications from a global perspective.
A focus on experiential learning—
become active in your major
Experiential learning is part of every
student’s program at Regis – in every major.
From internships, service learning projects,
undergraduate research and performance,
clinical placements, summer programs and
more, students choose from a variety of active
learning styles in their field of study. Regis’
relationship with companies and organizations
in and around Boston provides wide
opportunities, and the College’s Experiential
Learning and Career Services Center offers
strong student support.
A Dynamic Curriculum
The Regis College Signature Portfolio—
a tangible end product
At the heart of the core curriculum is the
Regis College Signature Portfolio. The Signature
Portfolio provides undergraduate students with
the unique opportunity to synthesize and
integrate the values, tradition and knowledge
acquired through a Regis education via an
ongoing series of “signature assignments” that
document their intellectual and professional
growth over four years of study.
Through the Signature Portfolio, Regis
College students graduate with much more than
just a diploma. Working closely with our career
development counselors, they leave with a
professional resume—and with a portfolio of work
and invaluable experiences gained at Regis—that
demonstrates their readiness for employment
and/or further education at the graduate or
professional level.

know you by your name and not just a
number, then consider Regis College. I
remember hearing this as a prospective
student and not believing it at first, but I do
now! Even professors that I haven’t had, say
hello to me in the hallways. It's a really nice
feeling to know that you're surrounded by
people you know and who know you.”

Financing Your Regis Education
Regis College students can qualify for various types of financial assistance in the
form of scholarships, state and federal grants, loans and work study.
Financial Aid
■
■
■
■
■
■
■
■
Financial aid is awarded in two ways: academic merit (based on academic
performance in high school) and financial need.
In order to determine your financial need, you must formally apply for financial aid.
Regis works with each student individually to help them finance their education
through the Direct Loan Program.
All student loans, subsidized and unsubsidized, are processed directly by
Regis College through the government.
This allows for fewer forms to fill out, a lower interest rate, and the ability to
consolidate loans after graduation.
Applying for financial aid is the next step after applying for admission. Just complete
the two applications listed below and leave the rest up to us.
A Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): Go to: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
A Regis College New Student Application for Financial Aid: go to:
www.regiscollege.edu/finaidapp
For scholarship consideration, apply by February 15.
Once you have completed these two applications and received your acceptance letter from the
Office of Admission, the Office of Financial Aid will develop a financial aid package for you.
