NATAŠA, Mariljub
Making new friends, practicing social skills.
SAŠO, Mariljub

URŠKA, Mariljub

mountains because I was able to enjoy the nature,
avoid the “new technologies”, share anecdotes and

LUDMILA, Málaga
2
When all the people receive us with kisses and
hugs (even the people didn’t know me). The other
important and emotional experience was “Banana

moving was “banana game” as usual so many
emotions come out.
MARISA, Málaga

GONZALO, Málaga
For me, I can mix these three feelings in one. It

The arrival in Bohinjsko jezero when all receive us
and give us hugs and kisses ... The banana game
because I can see what everyone think about me.
ASCEN, Málaga
The most beautiful experience was to be received
by everyone the night of arrival, to receive hugs,
kisses and to see all people again. The most
important was to cope with people from many
countries, with different cultures. The most
emotional experience was to see how we worked
and enjoy together as a team, although we don’t
come from the same country.
despedida.

game and the farewell.
ARIANA, Mirandela
encontro.
The nicest experience, the most important and the
most moving was the "banana game" because I
received a very good feedback from everyone and I
don’t want this to be a "goodbye", but a "see you
soon" to all the important people and those who
helped me during this exchange.
FILIPA, Lisboa
Durante o encontro tenho duas coisas a referir
bastantes importantes.
I have two quite important things to mention
regarding this exchange. One is the workshops
conducted by the different countries. They are so
useful for the exchange. We all work together and
exchange ideas. Finally, the banana game is a very
important and moving experience where we have
time to talk to with each of the participants and
reflect.
ANA TERESA, Lisboa
2. What did you learn during the
exchange?
I learnt that I had to study more to connect with
more people.

and to understand more languages.

CHARLOTTE, Liverpool
Communication skills based on language and you
can learn a lot about people regardless of what
languages you speak.
RHIANNON, Liverpool
I learned more about tolerance, understanding and
the extent of my own temper with self-control.
And finally I learned how hard it is to host and
exchange and be flexible.
NEIL, Liverpool
I learnt how to say things in other languages.
LUKE, Liverpool
I learnt how to communicate a lot more without
language.

XXX, Xxx
Even though we think that the hope is gone, we
should raise our voices anyway to fight and to
obtain the life we deserve.

Slovenian, English and Spanish, letting myself go
and not be so shy when meeting new people.

amigas. Também aprendi muito sobre política, um
assunto que eu não entendia bem.
That I do not need years to get to know a person
because I met people who will be very important
in my life and who I want as friends. I also learned
a lot about politics, a subject that I did not
understand well until now.
FILIPA, Lisboa
I learned how to improve my self-esteem on
catwalk, because I thought that I’m not going to
be able to do that. I improved my English.
NATAŠA, Mariljub
I learn more English, German a little bit of Italien,
Portugeese and Slovenien too! I’ve learned how to
communicate with people from another countries.
NACHO, Málaga
That my advices really do help.
MUCI, Mariljub
I learnt that friendship has no language, country,
age or colour borders. But if you have the will, any
relationship based on friendship is possible.
MARISA, Málaga
I learned about situations in other countries and
what we can do to change it.
GONZALO, Málaga
That there are so many different people, with
different cultures, behaviour and needs.
SAŠO, Mariljub
For friends and friendship sky is the limit. And
that I’m really good to act in stress situations.
JERCA, Mariljub
Talking in English.
FRANCI, Mariljub
I learned that with very little you can be happy.
When someone looks at you and smiles at you. We
don’t understand each other very well, because of
the language barrier. But we all understand the
universal language of LOVE.
LUDMILA, Málaga
I learned about love, respect and friendship going
beyond ideas and or borders. I think I learned
about the real meaning of this exchange: loving
and carrying each-others no matter how many
problems they have carried with themselves.
vidas.
I learned that together we are stronger. And that
the meaning of life is to make sense in other
people’s lives.
ANA TERESA, Lisboa
I have improved my English (now I know how to
say knife, fork). But the most important thing I
have learned is that all together we can achieve
our goals, we only have to cooperate. I also know
how is life in Slovenia, thanks to this exchange,
which was organised by a very brave group.
ANGEL, Málaga
5
I learned some other languages and also the
culture of this country, as for me it was the first
visit here.
ARIANA, Mirandela
expresasmor a nossas ideias.
I discovered that we have to respect the opinion
of other people and that we should not be
ashamed to express our ideas.
PEDRO, Madeira
I learned that we have to make the most of what
life gives us and that these exchanges are not only
for knowledge of new cultures but also an
opportunity for life experience.
TÂNIA, Lisboa
Vorrei che L’Europa me sentisse, perché aiutasse I
giovanni a non prendere cattive strade.
I would like that Europa would hear me, because it
would help young people not to take bad streets.
BERNARDO, Palermo
You can meet friends for life in only 2 weeks. The
exchange is a place where young people can share
their stories, ideas, feel loved, happy and
important.
URŠKA, Mariljub
To help the unemployed people
FRANCESO, Palermo
A bit of other languages, the situation in other
countries and the power we have to change it. And
how to communicate with other people who don’t
speak my language.
ASCEN, Málaga
3. “Raise your voice - Europe can hear
you”
What did you discover about our
theme and what will you do to have
your needs respected and your voice
heard?
I discovered that this crisis or this difficult phase
which we are passing will be more easy to
overcome if we are prepared.
DIOGO, Madeira
That all of us together, we can make it
MATTEO, Palermo
More courage to open my mouth and that I can
pass it on.
KAI, Hamburg
Europe needs us and we need Europe. This applies
to young and not so young people I will continue
to defend the European idea with vehemence
against all odds.
ARMIN, Hamburg
That we can learn a lot about other things.
BENNI, Hamburg
More people to listen to us.
NICK, Hamburg
I will fight to the maximum that my voice would
be heard and respected like the voice of all people
whether a politician or somebody else, I have the
right to demonstrate.
TÂNIA, Lisboa
Keep your vision… Don’t be afraid, you’re not just
a statistic.
DAN, Liverpool
6
I discovered how passionate young people are
about making a change and trying to improve
opportunities for next generations.
CHARLOTTE, Liverpool
I have discovered that all young people feel they
aren’t listened to. In order to be heard you need
to use your voice … and work together.
RHIANNON, Liverpool
I need and want to be more pro-active in my local
community with the people and local authorities.
By myself I may not have the power to change the
world but like Marisa said, we all have the power
to make small changes ourselves and slowly
change the world.
NEIL, Liverpool
I discovered that there is a lot of different ways to
set your voice heard.
LUKE, Liverpool
I’ve observed that many young people are being
tired from never ending process of communication
with authorities, which many times do not care.
JAŠI, Bratislava
I notices a lot of debate about how the
government is being run and that you need a lot
of people behind you to be heard and take action
of making a better Europe.
DANNI, Liverpool
To have my needs respected and my voice heard, I
would work hard on my opinions and thoughts
until the right person heard.
KATE, Liverpool
More intensive cooperation with media and
politicians, so they will find out that also young
people have good ideas.
ROMAN, Bratislava
I will start to participate on elections and give my
opinion.
JERCA, Mariljub
I found out that our country in comparison to the
others is not in the worst situation (jobs, money).
About the voice to be heard, I will need some
propagation on the internet.
ERIK, Bratislava
That each government is in chaos and the
politicians take care more about money. More
organisations dealing with this have to be
founded.
ALEX, Bratislava
I discovered that all young people want to be
heard, to be active and to participate, so I am not
alone. I’ll fight for my needs, I will be heard by
taking actions and connecting with people that
think similar.
XXX, Xxx
That we come from different backgrounds and that
there are young people in even worse situations
than us.
NEJA, Mariljub
I will try to share stories about young people from
Europe and find the way that people with
influence can hear us. I will also learn more about
politic.
NATAŠA, Mariljub
I’ve discovered that there are so many young
people in the EU that has good ideas about
making a change but they can not … If the whole
Europe would stay together as one, their stories
would be different.
MUCI, Mariljub
Young people in Europe need to fight for their
needs and rights.
SAŠO, Mariljub
We are active and we are looking or making
possibilities for themselves … I will continue with
my volunteer work and fight for the things I
believe in.
URŠKA, Mariljub
7
I will need more space for self-realization and
realization of more plans.
MARTIN, Bratislava
I can help to the people to fight for their rights
and never let them give up.
NACHO, Málaga
That young people can change our future.
FRANCI, Mariljub
I will help older people through volunteering
because they have also helped the young people.
They have many things to tell us, to pass on to us,
and they can also help us raise our voices by
giving us their advice.
BEA, Málaga
I think that the problem is that if we raise our
voices, Europe won’t hear us. You can go to
demonstrations and fight for your rights but the
government is not concerned about us. In Spain
there is a contrast in society: homeless and rich
people cope together in a country which does not
offer opportunities to young people. The difference
between rich and poor people is becoming bigger
and now we have less rights and more poorness.
ANGEL, Málaga
I’ve discovered that we all want a dignified job
and good education. The majority of people in the
exchange don’t have a good life, and the most
important thing is to have a job. I alone cannot
do much, because the voice of only one person
cannot be heard. I’ll try to do more public things
with E.I.M.A. that are connected with this theme
... but is very difficult to be heard.
Eu tenho o direito
de me manifestar.
I will fight as effectively as possible so that my
voice is heard and respected, as well as all people’s
voices, whether a politician or other person. I
have the right to manifest.
TÂNIA, Lisboa
Que podemos fazer imensas coisas para sermos
ouvidos.
That we can do many things to be heard.
ARIANA, Mirandela
I will raise my voice, I will participate more in
youth movements. And that not only the crisis is
important, but that we should also worry about
environmental issues, among other things.
FILIPA, Lisboa
I found out that we may think that we cannot do
anything for the change, but the fact is that we
are the ones able to make it happen and we can
start from within our communities with little steps
towards a better future.
MARISA, Málaga
I will fight for other rights and I will help to other
people to do this.
GONZALO, Málaga
I will keep fighting and working with EIMA,
making little steps and doing my best to my
community and also I will raise my voice in
demonstrations and protests.
ELENA, Málaga
Descobri que apesar desta crise existem outras
coisas bastantes importantes. Uma delas é o meio
ambiente que temos que preservar. Vou levantar a
I discovered that despite the crisis there are also
other important things. One is the environment
that we have to preserve. I will raise my voice
participating in actions and youth movements
fighting for equality and for everyone to have a
job where the working hours correspond to the
salary.
ANA TERESA, Lisboa
8
Fight for my right and help other people for their
rights.
ASCEN, Málaga
To integrate my self into the group and to get up
earlier.
WENDY, Hamburg
4. What would you like to change for
the next exchange?
More media projects as a part of their programme,
rather than trying to squeeze them in a random
moments.
Yes, that the other groups would be more united
with one another.
DIOGO, Madeira
In my opinion the exchange was very good there
are no aspects to change.
PEDRO, Madeira
For the next exchange I would not change
anything and I hope that it will be Màlaga or
Palermo organising it in the same way.
BERNARDO, Palermo
I would not change nothing, because for me
everything was perfect.
MATTEO, Palermo
The breakfast.
CHARLOTTE, Liverpool
Less activities in the sun if the weather is hot. Not
as many up hills walks.
RHIANNON, Liverpool
I would like to get over my phobia of flying
insects, so I can enjoy natural surroundings.
DANNI, Liverpool
I would like to have epa news.
KATE, Liverpool
There is no need for so much free time.
ERIK, Bratislava
Nothing (things were super).
MARTIN, Bratislava
Nothing, it was perfect like this.
FRANCESO, Palermo
Nothing.
ALEX, Bratislava
To become more open.
KAI, Hamburg
Only little! I would go again in the first week in a
beautiful place far from the City. Maybe more ideas
for a swing in the last days?
ARMIN, Hamburg
Not to be so timid and approach other people from
other countries.
PEGGY, Hamburg
I would like to begin on time with people who are
there, not wait sometimes really long.
JAŠI, Bratislava
It is just perfect!
XXX, Xxx
Being on time.
NEJA, Mariljub
9
I would like more of the same people will be on
the exchange for 14 days.
NATAŠA, Mariljub
I would propose that we would let people know
how it feels when you don’t understand a word at
the beginning of the exchange so that they will
better considerate the power of translation.
MARISA, Málaga
Country.
MUCI, Mariljub
Being less time in big cities.
Sometimes the communication between each
other.
ARIANA, Mirandela
A little bit more integration between city groups,
we have to find a way to communicate with others
and make everyone feeling like one.
ELENA, Málaga
No more walks under the sun at 3PM.
ANGEL, Málaga
Nothing.
I would like everything to stay as it is, but I would
like fewer ascents carrying suitcases. And I would
like to get to know some people who I have not
had the pleasure of speaking to this year.
FILIPA, Lisboa
Keep the first week in remote place. Leaders
meeting should be taken more serious.
URŠKA, Mariljub
Nada!
Nothing!
TÂNIA, Lisboa
Numa forma geral esta tudo positivo. Não mudaria
nada em concreto. Pois a mudança dá-se a cada
dia.
In general way everything is great. I would not
change anything in concrete as changes take place
every day.
ANA TERESA, Lisboa
Nothing. Maybe that it would last longer.
JERCA, Mariljub
Nothing.
FRANCI, Mariljub
I would like to change those walks at 3 p.m. under
the sun. Other than that, it was a great exchange.
Thank you Slovenia!
BEA, Málaga
I don’t want to change anything about the
exchange! Maybe colder weather.
NACHO, Málaga
Nothing.
5. Have you been encouraged to
change something in your life, when
you go back? If yes, what and how?
Sim, a respeitar mais a natureza.
Yes, to respect more the Nature
DIOGO, Madeira
Yes, I learned to respect the Nature and not to
throw litter on the floor this will be a change for
the rest of my life.
PEDRO, Madeira
GONZALO, Málaga
10
To continue like so far working with the older
young people is still very important for me and I
would like to explore this beautiful corner of
Europe privately.
ARMIN, Hamburg
Yes, I want to learn other languages, to
communicate with everybody.
MATTEO, Palermo
Yes. I am going to really think about my future,
what I want and how I can get to there. Because
on the exchange they showed me how.
I should stop being so fussy with food and try to
get a bit fitter.
KATE, Liverpool
To work on my own projects. To gain more new
experiences.
ROMAN, Bratislava
Yes, to fight more for others
KAI, Hamburg
Yes, to have my teeth done!
MARCO, Hamburg
These meetings charged me with positive energy,
which is disappearing slowly but it takes a year
and then we have next meeting.
MARTIN, Bratislava
To start with a stabile life.
To help others to take life more seriously.
WENDY, Hamburg
My diet to begin with. To commit to our recycling
project rather then just saying that I am, and to
listen more when people raise their voices.
DAN, Liverpool
ALEX, Bratislava
Yes, for me the challenge will be to try to motivate
for participation more youngsters from our
neighbourhood.
JAŠI, Bratislava
CHARLOTTE, Liverpool
People can always surprise you. I should give
people more chance and trust in them even more.
XXX, Xxx
To try and stay in contact with people and to get
people more. I will also try to be more proactive in
my community.
RHIANNON, Liverpool
To really put my heart into work with youth,
because I saw how such experience are important
for them.
NEJA, Mariljub
I now really want to be active in my community,
to help better my small little world with my own

NEIL, Liverpool
I would really like to know more about the youth
policy, how politics work.
NATAŠA, Mariljub
To learn a new language.
Yes, to solve all my problems in a positive way.
SAŠO, Mariljub
Yes, to overcome my fear. It will also help in
Liverpool.
DANNI, Liverpool
Yes, personal problems (with talking).
MUCI, Mariljub
I would like to do EVS, I got few ideas for new
projects to do in my home and my organisation.
I even more now realize the importance of raising
your voice and will do that more actively.
URŠKA, Mariljub
11
I will never judge people and I will never allow
other people to judge anyone by their look.
JERCA, Mariljub
Yes, raise my voice to make me hear and speak
with the people to get fight for my rights.
ASCEN, Málaga
Yes, I will be more honest and open.
FRANCI, Mariljub

ANGEL, Málaga

in your life; I’ll start with small changes and will
never give up.
quero.
Not to give up anything and fight for what I want.
TÂNIA, Lisboa
Yes I want to change something in my life because
the exchange this year helped me to see myself
and value myself as a person and not only doing
things that seem fine/good.
AYELEN, Málaga
Sim, aprender melhor inglês!
Yes, learn better English!
Yes. I will direct my energy in to setting a goal.
Everything I’ve wanted to reach, I’ll will and will
finish it. Costs what it may, the most important
thing is to finish something and not the time you
need it to finish it.
LUDMILA, Málaga
Yes, now I’m ready to “raise my voice” and I’m
going to try to make a world a better place for
everyone.
NACHO, Málaga
I feel full of renewed energy that I will use
continuing working with my group in little projects
as I believe it is this little steps the ones that will
make it possible for this world to become a better
one.
MARISA, Málaga
I’m always changing to be a good person.
GONZALO, Málaga
ARIANA, Mirandela
Sim.
preservar o meio ambiente.
gente.
Yes. This exchange made me see even more how
friendships are important for our well-being. I will
force my family to recycle to preserve the
environment. And I will learn more languages to
be able to communicate with everyone.
FILIPA, Lisboa
Numa maneira geral fui encorajada.
iguais.
I have been encouraged in general, not only when
I get home but throughout the exchange. Because
every day we get to know a little more about
ourselves and ways of dealing with other people
since deep down we are all different but all equal.
ANA TERESA, Lisboa
This exchange make me feel more secure about
myself in terms of making decision. I will change
my views of the thing and my way to solve
problems or decisions I have to do every day.
ELENA, Málaga

Here we all learn how to be affectionate, how to
avoid violence, we learn how to communicate and
express our true feelings. The most beautiful thing
is to be so different but feel like you’re alike. I
think that if we all were here, there would neither
be problems nor confrontations. The epa education
is the best education, because epa has many
different opinions from different parts of the
world.
LUDMILA, Málaga
Definitely the answer is yes! Because this is a lifechanging experience in which you learn to better
live in society and how to understand other

experience something like that, you become
another person, filled with love, happiness and
most of all with a lot of new friends who stays in
your heart forever.
JERCA, Mariljub
To participate on a international youth exchange
is a fantastic experience that everyone should
have so I would recommended my friends to
participate. Coping in community with people from
different countries and cultures makes you realize
that there are many points of view, so each
problem may have a lot of solutions. Another
important aim is that you can visit many
countries, towns where you discover breathtaking
landscapes, moments. Of course you also have fun
with energizers, games, walks, parties…
ANGEL, Málaga

FILIPA, Lisboa
Obviamente que sim. Estes encontros internacionais
vida.
Obviously so. These international youth exchanges
are very important for the personal and collective
growth of each person. It is very important to
open the mind to be in direct contact with new
realities and getting to know new languages,
different cultures and build friendships for life.
ANA TERESA, Lisboa

is very difficult not to be with my second family.
Enormous heartfelt kisses.

experienza e opportunitá ci avete dato fiducia.

not interesting.
MARTIN, Bratislava
This was one of the best 14 days in my life. It will
always stay in my mind. And also if we were
organising, I could enjoy every moment.
NATAŠA, Mariljub
Sometimes people judge one person before getting
to know them. I think that an exchange teaches
you respect and equality and not rejection and
judging.
AYELEN, Málaga
Thanks for giving us this experience again!
BEA, Málaga
Thanks for making our exchanges so interesting
and fun. I owe you so much because you helped
me to open my mind and think with my heart and
my head. Thank you for making me realise that not
everything in life is money or material things. A
hug or a kiss cannot be bought and if you have
good friends, you need nothing more. With you
I’ve learned not to be so shy anymore, and to fight
for what I deserve and never give up. We are one
big family where everybody loves each other and
care for each other. I hope I’ll be able to
participate in the next exchange. Again I say,
THANK YOU.
LUDMILA, Málaga
Thank you very much to creating this all.
