Fornecendo um TCO menor otimizando o uso da memória RAM
Tabelas/partições no SAP HANA podem ser marcadas como “non-active” (”cool”)
 Estas tabelas/partições são …
 carregadas na memória RAM somente quando acessadas
 carregadas na memória RAM em caso de acesso de leitura (column-wise) e processadas normalmente
(mesma velovidade e funcionalidade)
 carregadas para a memória RAM para merge process (se um novo dado foi gravado e o detal atingiu o limite)
 Removida da memória RAM quando o espaço é reclamado ou quando uma ação de limpeza é disparada
 O BW automaticamente marca todas as tabelas PSA e write-optimized DSOs (exceto as últimas partições) como
“cool”, assim nenhuma manutenção ou ajuste extra é necessário.
