NAŠ STUDENTSKI ZBOR
S
tudentski zbor Sveučilišta u Mostaru u akademskoj 2008./09. godini
djeluje devetu godinu po sadašnjem ustroju i od samog početka studentski predstavnici Građevinskog fakulteta dio su Studentskog zbora
Sveučilišta. Svake se godine održavaju studentski izbori na svim fakultetima, gdje studenti biraju svoje predstavnike sa svake godine koji ih predstavljaju, kako u fakultetskoj podružnici, tako i u predsjedništvu Studentskog zbora Sveučilišta. Tako još od samog početka studenti Građevinskog
fakulteta aktivno sudjeluju u radu Zbora. Tijekom svake akademske godine
to podrazumijeva niz aktivnosti u cilju poboljšanja kvalitete školovanja i
života studenata, ali nerijetko su studenti uključeni i u različite akcije kojima
pridonose široj zajednici.
Dva puta godišnje studenti tradicionalno već niz godina organiziraju dobrovoljnu akciju darivanja krvi na Građevinskom fakultetu u suradnji s
Odjelom za transfuziologiju Kliničko-bolničkog centra Mostar gdje je uvijek zapažen odziv studenata. Redovito se u predblagdansko vrijeme prije
Božića i Uskrsa organiziraju humanitarne akcije gdje se prikupljaju novčana
sredstva. Novac se svake godine uputi u neku od ustanova u gradu kojoj je
u tom trenutku najpotrebniji, a studenti su uvijek ti koji predaju novac ili
prigodne pakete i za vrijeme ovih blagdana uz druženje razvesele djecu s
posebnim potrebama, stare ili nemoćne.
Vrlo su često naši studenti kao članovi predsjedništva Studentskog zbora
Sveučilišta sudjelovali u bitnim raspravama, primjerice na temu aktualnog
Zakona o visokom obrazovanju, ali i na temu trenutačnog statusa Sveučilišta
u Mostaru. Također su u par slučajeva stali uz svoje kolege s ostalih fakulteta
u javnim prosvjedima, u organizaciji Studentskog zbora Sveučilišta, koji su
na nekim fakultetima održavani u cilju poboljšanja studentskog standarda,
smanjenja školarina i rješavanja ostalih studentskih pitanja. Studentski
zbor redovito organizira i sportska natjecanja za sve studente Sveučilišta.
Tako tijekom godine studenti imaju priliku sudjelovati na nogometnim,
košarkaškim, odbojkaškim i stolnoteniskim turnirima.
Naravno, kakav bi to studentski život bio bez zabave, pa su u organizaciji
Studentskog zbora upravo neke od najvećih zabava u gradu, Brucošijada
i Apsolventsko večer, na kojima se svake godine izmjenjuju najpopularniji
glazbeni izvođači. Uz to već par godina mladi umjetnici, glazbenici i pjesnici koji studiraju na našem Sveučilištu imaju priliku pokazati svoj rad na
Večerima mladih umjetnika.
Studenti našeg Fakulteta zajedno sa svojim predstavnicima, uz sudjelovanje u svim aktivnostima u organizaciji Studentskog zbora Sveučilišta u Mostaru, organiziraju i niz događanja u svojoj podružnici. Tako vrijedi spomenuti
kako se često u fakultetskoj Multimedijalnoj dvorani prikazuju filmovi, pa su

naši studenti u mogućnosti uživati
u popularnim filmskim naslovima
u ambijentu koji bar na trenutak
može ponuditi doživljaj kino dvorane, pošto kina nemamo u gradu
Mostaru. Vrlo često predstavnici
studenata Građevinskog fakulteta
organiziraju popularne večeri studenata Građevine, gdje se studenti,
a nerijetko i asistenti mogu družiti u
opuštenijoj atmosferi.
Jedan od najvećih i najvrjednijih
projekata je zasigurno časopis studenata našeg Fakulteta koji se zove
(NE)STABILNOST. Ukupno je do sada
objavljeno šest brojeva časopisa.
Uređuju ga i za njega pišu uglavnom
studenti Građevine i u svakom se
broju može naći ponešto za svačiji
ukus, od trenutačno aktualnih tema
iz struke, potom tema vezanih za
Sveučilište, Fakultet, Mostar i život
studenata, i na kraju nešto za zabavu.
(NE)STABILNOST je u stvari nastavak jednog uspješnog časopisa
studenata Građevinskog fakulteta
u Mostaru koji je izlazio osamdesetih godina i koji se zvao Uticajna
linija. Taj je časopis godinama predstavljao građevince, a nakon sušnih
devedesetih studenti su ponovno
došli do svoga glasila.
Naši studenti redovito sudjeluju
zajedno sa studentima iz Hrvatske na popularnoj Građevinijadi,
skupu studenata građevinskih
fakulteta sa Sveučilišta iz Hrvatske. Na ovim skupovima uz dobru
organizaciju naših predstavnika
omogući se odlazak preko 40 studenata Građevinskog fakulteta iz

In the academic year of 2008/09, the
Students’ Board of the University of
Mostar has been functioning for the
ninth year according to its present organization and representatives of students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering are part of the University Students’
Board from the very beginning. Students’ elections take place every year
in all faculties, where students elect
their representatives from each school
year to represent them in the faculty
branch as well as in the Presidency of
the University Students’ Board. In that
way, students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering take active part in the operation of the board from the very beginning. During every academic year, that
includes a number of activities aimed
at improving the quality of education
and students’ life, but students are also
often involved in various activities contributing to the wider community.
For many years now, students organize

Die studentische Vertretung der Universität in Mostar im Studienjahr 2008/09
besteht schon das 9. Jahr, im jetzigen
Aufbau und von Anfang an sind Studentenvertreter der Bau-akademie Teil
der studentischen Vertretung der Universität.
Jedes Jahr finden Studentenwahlen
an allen Fakultäten statt, an denen von
den Studenten ihre stellvertretende
Vertreter gewählt werden, sowohl in
den Fachschaften, als auch im Präsidium der studentischen Vertretung der
Universität. So nehmen vom Beginn
die Studen-ten der Bauakademie im
Wirken der studentischen Vertretung
teil. In jedem Studienjahr versteht man
darunter eine Reihe von Aktivitäten,
mit der Aufgabe zur Besserung des Bildungsniveaus und des studentischen
Lebensstandard; häufig sind Studenten auch in verschiedenen Aktionen
anwesend, mit dem Ziel der Gemeinschaft, mit hilflichen Leistungen beizutragen.

fakulteta, nekoliko stručnih predavanja i puno druženja i upoznavanja kolega s drugih sveučilišta. Na
građevinijadama naši studenti redovito dobro prolaze na sportskim
natjecanjima, tako da polako popunjavamo police našega dekana u
njegovu uredu s osvojenim peharima s posljednjih građevinijada.
Budući je stručna praksa obvezna na
našem Fakultetu, otkrivši postojanje
Međunarodne udruge za razmjenu
studenata radi obavljanja stručne
prakse, i to s mogućnošću razmjene
u 86 zemalja članica udruženja, nekoliko se naših studenta odlučilo
na otvaranje ureda ove udruge na
našem Sveučilištu. Uz malo hrabrosti i veliku potporu našeg dekana i
Sveučilišta, uspješno smo pokrenuli
ured IAESTE-a po prvi puta u Mostaru. Time smo omogućili našim studentima obavljanje plaćene stručne
prakse u svijetu, i po prvi puta doveli strane studente u grad, također
radi obavljanja stručne prakse.
Udruga trenutačno ured dijeli sa
Studentskim zborom Građevinskog
fakulteta i većinu najaktivnijih
članova čine naši studenti. U prvoj
godini postojanja, u akademskoj
2006./07. godini petero studenata Sveučilišta u Mostaru obavilo
je svoju praksu u svijetu. Od njih
petero čak ih je troje bilo s našeg
Fakulteta u građevinskim tvrtkama
u Španjolskoj, na Cipru i u Omanu.
U sljedećoj godini uspjeli su pronaći
stručnu praksu za strane studente u
šesnaest domaćih tvrtki i institucija
što znači da će upravo toliko naših
studenata moći u svijet, ne samo

the Department of Transfusiology of
the Clinical Medical Center Mostar,
where the response of students has always been remarkable. Humanitarian
campaigns for collection of charitable
funds are organized on a regular basis
in pre-holiday times, before Christmas
and Easter. Every year, the collected
funds are sent to one of the city institutions that need them most, while it is
always the students who hand over the
money or appropriate presents, and
during these holidays they pay friendly visits and bring joy to children with
special needs, the old or the frail.
Very often, our students, as members
of the Presidency of the University Students’ Board, participated in important
discussions, for example on the subject
of the topical Law on High Education,
but also on the subject of the present
position of the University of Mostar. On
a couple of occasions, they also stood
by their colleagues from other faculties in public protests, organized by the
University Students’ Board, being held
on some faculties in an effort to improve students’ standard, lower school
fees and solve other issues related to
students. The Students’ Board has regularly organized sports events for all
students of the university. Thus, in the
course of a school year, students have
opportunity to participate in football,
basketball, volleyball and table tennis
competitions.
Certainly, what kind of student life
would it be without entertainment, so
it is the very Students’ Board that has
been organizing some of the greatest
parties in the city, Brucošijada (Freshmen party) and Apsolvenska večer
(Evening party of senior students who
qualified for final thesis), in which the
most popular musical performers take
their turns every year. In addition,
young artists, musicians and poets
studying at our University have an opportunity to present their work in Evenings of Young Artists for a couple of
years now.

Zweimal im Jahr werden von den Studenten traditionell, jahrelang, freiwillige Blutspenden an der Bauakademie unter Mitarbeit mit der Station
für Transfusion des Klinikums in Mostar
veranstaltet; immer ist an der Anzahl
der Studenten eine bedeutende Anteilnahme abzulesen. Regelmäßig werden
auch zur Advents- und zur Fastzeit humanitäre Aktionen zum Sammeln von
Geldmittel organisiert. Das Geld wird
dann jedes Jahr in eine der an Finanzen bedürftigen Insstitutionen, und
Studenten übergeben das Geld oder
verteilen Geschenke zu diesen Feiertagen aus, Kinder mit Behinderungen,
Alte oder Behinderte erfreuend.
Oft nahmen unsere Studenten als
Mitglieder der der Studenten studentischen Vertretung der Universität an
wichtigen Gesprächen teil; z.B. zum
Thema des aktuellen Hochschulgesetzes, aber auch zum Thema des
augenblicklichen Status der Universität in Mostar. Sie standen auch in
einigen Fällen ihren Kollegen von den
anderen Fakultäten bei; so auch an
verschiedenen öffentlichen Kundgebungen unter Veranstaltung der studentischen Vertretung der Universität,
die an einigen Fakultäten mit dem Ziel
der Besserung des Lebensstandards,
der Studentengebührermäßigung und
Lösungen der anderen studentischen
Probleme.
Die studentische Vertretung veranstaltet auch regelmäßig Sportwettbewerbe für alle Studenten der Universität. So haben durch das Studienjahr
Studenten die Gelegenheit an Fußball-,
Basketball-,Voleyball- und Tischtennisturnieren teilzunehmen.
Was wäre natürlich ein Studentenleben
ohne Unterhaltung; unter Leitung der
Studenten wurden eine der größten
Partys in der Stadt veranstaltet: Erstsemesterpartys und Apsolventen-abende,
auf denen jedes Jahr die populärsten
Musiker spielen. Hier haben auch seit
ein paar Jahren junge Künstler, Musiker
und Dichter, die an unserer Universität
studieren, Gelegenheit auf Abenden
für junge Künstler ihr Werk zu zeigen.

na usavršavanje u struci i učenje o
tehnikama i metodama u drugim
zemljama, nego i učenje stručnog
stranog jezika. Također su prije par
godina u okviru projekata Pakt o
stabilnosti za jugoistočnu Europu
i DAAD iz područja zaštite okoliša
realizirane stipendije i boravci na
Kaiserslautern-Universitat i RuhrUniversitat Bochum. Informatički
je dodatno studentska računalna
učionica opremljena zahvaljujući
suradnji s austrijskim sveučilišnim
odborom WUS Austria, a također u
dva navrata prilikom realizacije CEP
projekata instalirana je značajna
informatička oprema i edukativne
verzije računalnih sofvera.
Također svake godine u okviru redovitog studija naš Fakultet organizira stručne ekskurzije iz pojedinih
kolegija, tako da smo posljednjih
godina bili u prilici vidjeti i obići
brojna gradilišta, uglavnom u Bosni
i Hercegovini i Hrvatskoj. Vidjeli smo
gradnju mostova, hidrotehničkih
postrojenja, obnavljanje povijesnih
objekata, geotehnička istraživanja,
gradnju auto-ceste, sportskih dvorana… Primjerice, nekoliko smo
puta obilazili gradnju nove autoceste A1 u Hrvatskoj, gradnju mosta
u Dubrovniku, mosta u Skradinu,
dvoranu u Zadru, utvrdu u Bobovcu
i brojne druge objekte.
Iz godine u godinu unatoč težini
studija studenti su kao što se vidi
također vrlo aktivni i u izvannastavnim aktivnostima, koje pored
toga što dodatno pridonose njihovu obrazovanju, čine najljepše studentsko doba još zanimljivijim.
Za kraj svakako vrijedi još istaknuti
In addition to participation in all activities organized by the Students’ Board of
the University of Mostar, students of our
faculty together with their representatives also organize a number of events
in their premises. Thus, it is worthy of
noting that movies are often played in
our faculty Multimedia Hall, providing
the possibility for our students to enjoy
popular movies in an environment that
can offer experience of a movie hall at
least for a moment, being that there is
not a movie hall in Mostar. Very often,
representatives of students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering organize social
evenings for students of the Faculty of
Civil Engineering, where students, and
often assistants too, can have social
time in a more relaxed atmosphere.
One of the greatest and most valuable
projects is certainly the journal prepared by students of our faculty, titled
(NE)STABILNOST ((IN)STABILITY). The
journal has been published in six issues
by now. It is edited and contributed
by Students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and every issue offers something for everybody’s interests, from
presently topical issues of the profession, to topics related to the University,
the Faculty, Mostar and life of students,
to eventually something for fun.
(NE)STABILNOST is actually a continuation of a successful journal prepared
by students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Mostar that was coming
out in 80-ies and that was called Uticajna linija. That was the journal that
represented civil engineering students
for years, and after dry 90-ies students
have their paper back again.
Together with students from Croatia,
our students regularly participate in
the popular Građevinijada, the event
of students of civil engineering faculties from universities in Croatia. Good
organization of our representatives
provides opportunity for more than
40 students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering from Mostar to participate in
this event. Građevinijada means sports
competitions between faculties, several
professional lectures and a lot of good

izuzetna suradnja između studenata s jedne strane i profesora i
asistenata s druge. Većina profesora
i asistenata je pristupačna, susretljiva, a naši studenti već godinama
jedini na Sveučilištu imaju redovite
sastanke s dekanom, prodekanom i
asistentom za nastavu gdje se uvijek saslušaju i rješavaju svoje ideje,
želje i potrebe te nastoje riješiti sve
eventualne probleme s kojima se
susreću. To je izuzetno bitno za cijelu
klimu na Fakultetu, jer Građevinski
fakultet djeluje kao jedno tijelo. Tko
jednom prođe kroz naš Fakultet i na
njemu diplomira, zauvijek ostaje vezan za ovu instituciju i osjeća se njezinim članom. Jednom građevinac –
uvijek građevinac!

other universities. In Građevinijadas,
our students regularly do fine in sports
contests, so we are slowly filling shelves
in our dean’s office with cups won in
last Građevinijadas.
As technical experience is compulsory
in our faculty, and having discovered
about the International Association
for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience that offers the possibility of exchange within 86 association’s country members, several of our
students decided to open an office of
this association in our University. With
some courage and considerable support from our dean and university, we
successfully pioneered an IAESTE office
in Mostar. In this way, we provided opportunity for our students to perform
paid professional training abroad, and
pioneered in bringing foreign students
into the city, also to do practical training. The association presently shares an
office with Students’ Board of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the majority of its most active members are our
students. In its first year of operation,
in the academic year of 2006/07, five
students from the University of Mostar completed their technical training
abroad. Out of the five, even three were
from our faculty who went to construction companies in Spain, Cyprus and
Oman. In the next year, they managed
to find practical training for foreign students in sixteen local companies and
institutions, meaning that precisely so
many of our students will be able to go
abroad, not only for the professional
training and studying of techniques
and methods in other countries, but
also training of the technical foreign
language. In addition, scholarships
and visits to Kaiserslautern-Universität
and Ruhr-Universität Bochum were
achieved a couple of years ago as part
of the projects Stability Pact for South
Eastern Europe and DAAD in the field
of environmental protection. Students’
computer classroom was additionally
supplied with information technology
ihren Vertretern, und mit Teilnahme
an allen Aktivitäten unter Organisation
der studentischen Vertretung der Universität in Mostar, veranstalten auch
eine Reihe von Tätigkeiten in ihrer eigenen Fachschaften. Hier muss man
sagen, dass oft in dem Fakultätssaal
Filme gezeigt werden, so dass unsere
Studenten, wenigstens auch für kurze
Zeit sich, mit berühmten Filmen, in
einem anpassendem Ambient entspannen können; es ist das Erlebnis eines
Kinosaals, dessen in Mostar fehlt. Oft
werden von den Vertretern der studentischen Vertretung der Bauakademie
beliebte Studentenabende organisiert,
wo Studenten und oft auch Assistenten
einen heiteren Abend genießen können.
Eines der größten und wertvollsten
Projekten ist sicherlich unsere Studentenzeitschrift mit dem Namen (Un)

items thanks to the cooperation with Austrian university board WUS Austria, and also on two occasions within the implementation of CEP projects, special computer equipment and educational versions of software were installed.
As part of the regular course of studies, our faculty also organizes study trips within some of the courses every year. Thus, in
recent years we had opportunity to visit and see numerous construction sites, mainly in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
We observed construction of bridges, water engineering works, restoration of historical structures, geotechnical explorations,
construction of a highway, sports halls... For example, on several occasions we visited the construction site of the new highway A1 in Croatia, construction of a bridge in Dubrovnik, bridge in Skradin, hall in Zadar, fortress in Bobovac and numerous
other structures.
Despite the difficulty of the studies, as we can see students have been active also in extracurricular activities year by year,
which apart from being an additional contribution to their education, also make the best students’ age even more interesting.
For the end, it should also be stressed that an exceptional cooperation between students on one side and professors and assistants on the other has been established in recent years at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Most professors and assistants
are responsive and helpful, while for years now our students are the only ones at the University that have regular meetings
with the dean, assistant dean and assistant for academic affairs, who carefully listen and answer their ideas, wishes and needs,
and try to solve any problems they may face. That is exceedingly important for the overall climate at the faculty, because the
Faculty of Civil Engineering functions as a single body. Whoever has gone through our faculty and has graduated from it, remains connected to this institution and feels part of it forever. Member of civil engineering once - member of civil engineering
for all time!

Stabilität. Bis jetzt wurden 6 Ausgaben veröffentlicht. Sie wird von den
Studenten der Bauakademie gestaltet;
in jeder Ausgabe ist für jeden etwas
da: aktuelle Themen, Themen zur
Universität,zur Fakultät, Mostar und das
Studentenleben; am Ende gibt es auch
Unterhaltung.
(Un)Stabilität ist eigentlich eine Folge
der erfolgreichen Zeitschrift der
Bauakademie-studenten in Mostar,
die in den 80-er veröffentlicht wurde
und den Namen Einflußlinie trug. Diese
Zeitschrift stand jahrelang für Baulernende da und wurde nach den öden
90-er von den Studenten wiederbelebt.
Unsere Studenten nehmen regelmäßig,
mit anderen Studenten aus Kroatien, an
dem populären Bauakademiefest teil,
einer Veranstaltung der Bauakademiestudenten der Universitäten in Kroatien.
Auf diesen Veranstaltungen wird mit
bester Organisation unserer Vertreter
für 40 Studenten in Mostar eine Reise
ermöglicht. Unter Bauakademiefest versteht man Sportwettbewerbe zwischen
Fakultäten, fachliche Vorträge und viel
Gesellschaft und Kennenlernen mit den
Kollegen von anderen Universitäten.
Auf Bauakademiefesten zeigen unsere Studenten oft gute Ergebnisse in
sportlichen Wettbewerben an, so dass
der Regal in dem Dekanbüro mit den
Pokalen langsam voll wird.
Da das Fachpraktikum an unserer
Fakultät Pflicht ist, haben einige, unsere Studenten, das Bestehen des Internationalen Studentenaustauschdienstes entdeckt, das für das Ablegen des
Fachpraktikums, mit Austauschmöglichkeit mit 86 Mitgliedländern gegründet wurde.
Danach entschlossen die Studenten
ein Büro dieses Dienstes an unserer
Universität zu eröffnen. Mit Mut und
Unterstützung unseres Dekans und
der Universität wurde erfolgreich ein
IAESTE- Büro zum ersten Mal in Mostar eröffnet. Dadurch wurde unseren
Studenten ein Ablegen des fachlichen
Praktikums weltweit ermöglicht; wir lu-

den zum ersten Mal fremde Studenten
zum Ablegen des Praktikums in unsere
Stadt ein. Der Dienst teilt jetzt sein Büro
mit der studentischen Vertretung und
der Großteil der aktiven Mitglieder sind
unsere Studenten. Im ersten Gründungsjahr im Studienjahr 2006/07 machten
5 Studenten der Universität in Mostar
ihr Praktikum in der weiten Welt. Von
5 Studenten waren sogar 3 Bauakademiestudenten in Baufirmen in Spanien,
auf Zypern und in Oman. Im folgenden
Jahr fanden sie für fremde Studenten
Fachpraktikumen in 16 innenländischen
Firmen und Institutionen, was auch bedeutet dass 16 unsere Studenten eine
Gelegenheit haben werden, in die Welt
zu reisen, und zwar nicht nur zur fachlichen Weiterbildung und zum Lernen
der Techniken und Methoden, sondern
auch zum Erlernen einer fachlichen
Fremdsprache. So wurden auch vor ein
paar Jahren Stipendien im Rahmen des
Stabilitätspaktes für Südost-europa und
des DAAD-Dienstes für Umweltschutz
und Aufenthalte an der Kaiserslautern
und Ruhr- Universität Bochum. Das studentische Informatiklabor wurde unter
Mitarbeit des österreichischen Universitätsausschusses WUS Austria zusätzlich ausgestattet; auch wurden zwei
mal während der Realisation der CEP
Projekte informatische Ausstattung
und Lehrsoftwareversionen instaliert.
Jedes Jahr werden auch von Seiten
unserer Fakultät Fachexkursionen in
einigen Fachen organisiert; so waren
wir in den letzten Jahren in der Lage
zahlreiche Baustellen, in Bosnien und
Herzegowina und in Kroatien, zu sehen und zu besuchen. Wir betrachteten
Brücken-ausbau, Bau von hydrotechnischen Anlagen, Rekonstruktion von
Denkmälern, geotechnische Forschungen, Autobahn-, Sporthallenausbau...
Wir besuchten z.B. ein paar mal die
Baustelle der neuen Autobahn A 1 in
Kroatien, den Brückenausbau in Dubrovnik, in Skradin, die Halle in Zadar,
die Festung in Bobovac und zahlreiche
andere Objekte.
Von Jahr zu Jahr sind Studenten, trotz
des umfassenden, schwierigen Studiums, auch in außerfakultätischen Aktivitäten anwesend, die auch ein Zusatz
zu ihrer Bildung sind und außerdem die
Studentenzeit zur schönsten Zeit gestalten.
Am Ende muss noch hervorgehoben
werden dass an der Bauakademie in
den letzten Jahren eine hervorragende
Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Studenten einerseits und den Professoren
und Assistenten andererseits besteht.
Der Großteil der Professoren und Assisstenten ist hilfsbereit und unsere Studenten haben als einzige schon jahrelange Treffen mit dem Dekan, und dem
Assistent für Unterricht, zu welchen
Gelegenheiten man immer Ideen, Wünsche und Bedürfnisse der Studenten
anhört, und wo man alle eventuellen
Probleme zu lösen versucht.
Das ist unbedingt wichtig für die Atmosphäre an der Fakultät, denn die Fakultät
ist ein Korpus. Wer einmal an unsere
Fakultät kommt und auch einen Hochschulabschluss an ihr erlangt, bleibt für
immer mit dieser Institution verbunden
und fühlt sich als ihr Mitglied.
