1 Service to the ships and crews
(1) Organisation und Betreuung
Die Hansestadt Rostock wird Ihnen für die Tage Ihres
Aufenthaltes ein guter Gastgeber sein. Nach dem Festmachen an Ihrem Liegeplatz wird ein Betreuer an Bord
kommen, der Sie und die Crew über alles informiert. Sie
erhalten eine „Kapitäns-Tasche“ mit allen notwendigen
Unterlagen für den Aufenthalt in der Hansestadt, einschließlich einer Hanse-Sail-Flagge für Ihr Schiff. Alle Fragen, die sich während der Hanse-Sail-Tage ergeben, richten
Sie bitte an den Betreuer. Er wird Sie und Ihre Besatzung
auch zu allen offiziellen Veranstaltungen begleiten.
(1) Organisation and service
The Hanseatic City of Rostock will be an excellent host for the
days of your stay. After fastening at your berth, you will be
visited by your liaison officer who will take care of you and
your ship throughout your entire stay. Furthermore he will
support you to help solving all problems that may occur. You
will receive a “Captains Bag” with all required documents for
your stay in the Hanseatic City, including the flag of the
Hanse Sail for your ship. Please contact your liaison officer
concerning all questions regarding the Hanse Sail. They will
also accompany you and your crew to all official events.
(2) Das Zentrale Betreuungsbüro
befindet sich neben dem Theater im Stadthafen Rostock,
gegenüber Liegeplatz 81/82. Dieses Betreuungsbüro ist
täglich 24 Stunden besetzt und unter den Rostocker Tel.Nummern (0381) 381 29 71 und (0381) 381 29 72 zu
erreichen. Dem Betreuungsbüro ist ein Fahrdienst angeschlossen, der in dringenden Fällen auch den Kapitänen für
Fahrten innerhalb Rostocks zur Verfügung steht.
(2) The Central liaison service office
is located at the Stadthafen (City harbour) in Rostock, next
to the theater, opposite to berth 81/82 and will be staffed
around the clock. For questions, please, use telephone-No.
(0381) 381 29 71 and (0381) 381 29 72. A special car service (car and driver), which is also available to the captains
in urgent cases for trips in Rostock, is connected to the liaison service office.
(3) Hanse-Sail-Pin
Die Besatzung/Trainees der offiziell gemeldeten Gästeschiffe
(das betrifft nicht die Besatzung der Besucheryachten und Mitsegler) erhalten vom Betreuer einen Teilnehmer-Pin. Damit
weist er sich als Gast der Hanse Sail Rostock 2015 aus und
kann kostenfrei öffentliche Verkehrsmittel (Fähre, Bus, S-Bahn
und Straßenbahn) benutzen und das Heimatmuseum in Warnemünde sowie das Schifffahrtsmuseum kostenfrei besuchen.
In den genannten Einrichtungen liegen Besucherlisten aus.
Wir bitten Sie, sich beim Besuch einzutragen.
(3) Hanse-Sail-Pin
The crews and trainees from announced participants (no
spectator yachts) will be given a pin by the liaison officer
after their ship has entered the port. It should be worn visible to identify the participants as guests of the Hanse Sail
Rostock 2015 and it entitles them to: free use of public
transport (ferry, bus, tram and city-train) and free admission
to the “Heimatmuseum” in Warnemünde and to the
Schifffahrtsmuseum. Please sign in your name to the visitors
lists at the cultural facilities mentioned above.

3 Nautische Informationen
3 Nautical information
(1) Revier
Rostock-Warnemünde liegt an der Mündung der Warnow. Das
Fahrwasser zum Stadthafen Rostock ist die Bundeswasserstraße
Unterwarnow – Breitling, an der folgende Hafengebiete liegen:
– Hafengebiet Warnemünde mit Yachthafen und Passagierkai
– Seehafen Rostock-Petersdorf mit Öl- und Chemiehafen
– Rostocker Fracht- und Fischereihafen (RFH) Marienehe
– Stadthafen Rostock mit Museumshafen (Haedge-Hafen).
Die an der Hanse Sail 2015 teilnehmenden Schiffe erhalten ihre
Liegeplätze im Stadthafen Rostock, im Fischereihafen
Marienehe oder in Warnemünde.
(1) Sailing area
Rostock-Warnemünde is situated at the mouth of the river Warnow. The fairway to the City habour of Rostock is the “Bundeswasserstraße Unterwarnow – Breitling” with following ports:
– Port of Warnemünde with Yacht harbour and Passenger terminal
– Sea port of Rostock-Petersdorf with Oil- and Chemical port
– Fishing port of Marienehe
– City harbour of Rostock with Museum harbour (Haedge-Hafen)
Ships, participating in the Hanse Sail 2015, will have their
berths in the City harbour of Rostock, in the Fishing port
of Marienehe or in Warnemünde.
(2) Lotsen
Lotsenpflicht besteht für folgende Schiffe zum Seehafen:
– Schiffe > 100 m Länge über Alles oder
– Schiffe > 15 m Breite oder
– Schiffe > 7,50 m Tiefgang
(2) Pilots
Pilot assistance is compulsory to the Sea port of Rostock:
– Ships of more than 100 m (328 ft) L.o.a. or
– Ships of more than 15 m (49 ft) beam or
– Ships of more than 7,50 (24.5 ft) m draught
Lotsenpflicht besteht für folgende Schiffe zum Stadthafen:
– Schiffe > 60 m Länge oder
– Schiffe > 10 m Breite oder
– Schiffe > 5 m Tiefgang
Pilot assistance is compulsory to the City harbour Rostock:
– Ships of more than 60 m (197 ft) L.o.a. or
– Ships of more than 10 m (32.5 ft) beam or
– Ships of more than 5 m (16.4 ft) draught
Die Schiffe, die einen Lotsen nehmen, müssen ihre ETA-Meldung mindestens drei Stunden vor Eintreffen auf der Lotsenversetzposition an Warnemünde Pilot (UKW-Kanal 14) oder
Telefon (0381) 206 03 50 / Telefax (0381) 206 03 51 abgeben.
All vessels taking a pilot aboard will have to transmit their note
of estimated arrival at least three hours before arriving at the
pilot boarding station. Call VHF channel 14 for “Warnemünde
Pilot” or phone: (0381) 206 03 50 / fax (0381) 206 03 51.
(3) Meldepflicht
Entsprechend SeeSchStrO unterliegen alle Fahrzeuge sowie
Schub- und Schleppverbände, deren Länge ü. A. mehr als 30
Meter beträgt und die das Rostocker Fahrwasser einschließlich
Warnow befahren, der Meldepflicht. Die erforderlichen Angaben zur Meldung sind rechtzeitig an „Warnemünde Traffic”
(UKW-Kanal 73) zu richten. Die zuständige Ordnungsbehörde
für den in der Hafennutzungsordnung der Hansestadt Rostock
definierten Geltungsbereich ist das Hafen- und Seemannsamt
Rostock, hörbereit von 7 bis 21 Uhr unter dem Ruf „Rostock
Port Stadt” auf VHF Kanal 10. Die Einweisung auf die Liegeplätze erfolgt durch die Hafenmeister des Stadthafens, Telefon
(0381) 45 52 66 bzw. über Kanal 10, oder im Fischereihafen
durch den Hafendispatcher unter Telefon (0381) 811 24 40.
(3) Obligation of announce
In accordance with SeeSchStrO all vessels and pushed or towed
convoys with an overall length exceeding 30 metres entering
the Rostock fairway (including the Warnow) have to announce
their arrival. Necessary statements have to be communicated to
”Warnemünde Traffic” on VHF channel 73. The Hafen- and
Seemannsamt Rostock is the regulatory body for the areas defined in Port Traffic Regulations issued by the Hanseatic City of
Rostock and can be contacted on VHF channel 10.
The admission on the berths takes place through the harbourmaster in the City harbour, telephone (0381) 45 52 66 as well
as at channel 10 VHF, in the Fishing port by the harbour dispatcher, telephone (0381) 811 24 40.
(4) Hörbereitschaft
Nicht meldepflichtigen Fahrzeugen wird ebenfalls Hörbereitschaft auf UKW-Kanal 73 empfohlen, da in regelmäßigen
Abständen Informationen über Verkehrslage, Schifffahrtshindernisse, Änderungen an der Betonnung, Pegelstand und
Wettermeldungen gegeben werden.
(4) Watch
Ships which are not required to announce their sailing are
reguest to stand by on VHF 73. Information about traffic,
navigational warnings, weather forecasts, alterations to buoys
and other important news will be given regularly.
Sendezeiten: 05.15 bis 21.15 Uhr alle 2 Stunden
21.15 bis 05.15 Uhr alle 4 Stunden
Transmitting: 05.15 a.m. – 09.15 p.m. every two hours
09.15 p.m. – 05.15 a.m. every four hours

Bitte nehmen Sie Rücksicht auf den Fährverkehr im Revier!
Attention!
Please pay special attention to ferry traffic!
Bitte während der Hanse Sail GPS einschalten, zwecks
Ortung der Position der Schiffe.

(1) Regatten der Rahsegler und Schoner
Am Samstag, den 8. August, werden die Regatten vor
Warnemünde gesegelt. Die Schiffe starten in vier Gruppen:
(A) Rahsegler, (B) Schoner, (C) Einmaster und (D) Yachten.
Bitte melden Sie Ihre Teilnahme im Büro Hanse Sail bis zum
7. August 2015, 18.00 Uhr an.
Traditionell gestaltet sich das Auslaufen ab 10.00 Uhr zu
einer Geschwaderfahrt auf der Warnow. Traditions- und
Fahrtensegler, Oldtimer und Museumsschiffe haben Mitsegler
an Bord und begleiten die Regatta-Teilnehmer. Die Kapitäne
der Groß- und Traditionssegler werden gebeten, unter Beachtung der Sicherheit im Fahrwasser Segeltuch zu setzen,
um ein besucherwirksames Aus- und Einlaufen zu sichern.
(1) Tall Ship‘s and traditional sailing ships Regatta
On Saturday, August 8th, the race will be held off Warnemünde in four groups: (A) square rigged ships, B) schooners, (C) one-masted ships and (D) yachts. You are kindly
requested to check in at the Bureau Hanse Sail until August
7th 2015, 6.00 p.m. The departure from the City harbour
at 10.00 a.m. will be held in the form of a group sailing on
the Warnow river. Traditional sailing ships, cruising yachts,
historical ships and museum vessels will have sailing guests
aboard and pay their respect to the participants. The captains of windjammers and traditional ships are requested,
as far as safety in the fairway permits to give an impressive
show for the spectators by flying sails.
(2) Abendfahrten am 8. August
Traditionell laufen die Traditionssegler mit Mitseglern an
Bord zu Abendfahrten ins nahe Seegebiet und auf der
Warnow aus. Es werden ab 22.40 Uhr Höhenfeuerwerke
in Warnemünde/Ostmole und in Rostock/Stadthafen gezeigt. Die Kapitäne werden gebeten, bei der Planung der
Fahrt die Feuerwerke in Warnemünde und im Stadthafen
zu berücksichtigen, um die Verkehrssicherheit zu gewährleisten.
(2) Night trips on August 8th
Commonly, traditional sailing ships leave the port with
guests on board in the evening to sail on the Warnow and
off Warnemünde. High altitude fireworks will be shown in
Warnemünde/east mole and in Rostock/City harbour from
10.40 p.m. The captains are asked to include fireworks in
their planning of the trip in order to improve the security
in Warnemünde and in the City harbour.
(3) Bordstempel
Das „Hanse Sail Magazin 2015“ und der „SAIL KOMPASS
2015“ enthalten Freiflächen für Bordstempel-Sammleraufdrucke. Das Büro Hanse Sail bittet die Kapitäne der Segelschulschiffe/Traditionssegler um Gefälligkeitsabstempelungen aller bisher geführten Bordstempel.

Eingehende Post für Besatzungen der Segelschulschiffe und
Traditionssegler wird über das Büro Hanse Sail /Zentrales
Betreuungsbüro den Schiffen täglich bis 14.00 Uhr zugeführt.

Alle anderen Nebenleistungen (z.B. Trinkwasser, Landanschluss) gehen zu Lasten des Eigners/Reeders. Das
Büro Hanse Sail informiert über Service-Angebote für
Reparatur, Bebunkerung und spezielle Entsorgung.

The “Hanse Sail Magazine 2015“ and the “SAIL KOMPASS
2015“ contains blank pages for collecting official ship stamps.
The Bureau Hanse Sail asks the captains for courtesy samples
of all official ship stamps they have used so far.
(4) Incoming mail
Incoming mail for you and your crew will be sorted at
the letter center 18 and will be delivered to the ship daily
via the Bureau Hanse Sail / Central service office when you
are in port.

The Bureau Hanse Sail will cover the following costs
for the period from August 3rd to 11th, 2015:
– berth dues

All other services (e.g. drinking water, shore connection)
are on account of the ship. The Bureau Hanse Sail will

mit fünf Spielern und einem Torwart stellt, schaukeln sich
Spannung und Spaß hoch. Der 13. Rostocker Pilsener HanseSail-Cup, organisiert von Peter Prochnow, steht 2015 an und
wird zur Hanse Sail am Freitag, dem 7. August, ausgetragen.
Der Ball rollt ab 18.30 Uhr in der Sporthalle Marienehe über
den Hallenboden. Für Essen und Trinken wird gesorgt.

goalkeeper, excitement and fun get high. In 2015 the 13th
Rostocker Pilsener Hanse-Sail-Cup is organized by Peter Prochnow
