Kurzbiographie
Dr. Ueli Grunder absolvierte das zahnmedizinische Studium an der Universität von Zürich bis 1982.
Nach 2-jähriger Tätigkeit in der Privatpraxis folgte eine 3-jährige Nachdiplomausbildung in Kronenund Brückentechnik, Teilprothetik und Materialkunde bei Prof. Dr. P. Schärer an der Universität Zürich,
wo er seit 1987 noch als Instruktor für Implantologie tätig ist.
Dr. Ueli Grunder ist Spezialist für rekonstruktive Zahnmedizin (SSRD). Seit 1989 führt er zusammen mit
Dr. Gaberthüel eine Praxis in Zollikon-Zürich.
Sein Tätigkeitsgebiet ist festsitzende Kronen-Brücken Arbeiten und vor allem Implatologie. In seiner
internationalen Vortragstätigkeit und diversen Publikationen befasst er sich mit den chirurgischen und
prothetischen Aspekten der Implantologie.
Dr. Ueli Grunder ist Past-Präsident der Schweizerischen Gesellschaft für Implantologie (SGI) und PastPräsident der European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).

Short biography
Ueli Grunder studied medicine at the University of Zürich, graduating in 1982.
After two years in private practice, he underwent a three-year course of post-diplomate studies
in crown and bridge technology, partial prosthetics and materials science with Professor Schärer,
University of Zürich; lecturer for oral implantology at that University since 1987.
Grunder specializes in reconstructive dentistry (SSRD). Since 1989, he has been operating a private
practice in Zollikon/Zürich together Thomas Gaberthüel.
This professional focus is on fixed crown and bridge restorations and, especially, oral implantology.
His presentations, held before large international audiences, and his publications have addressed
surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry.
Grunder is Past President of the Swiss Society of Oral Implantology (SSOI) and Past President of the
European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).

Le Dr. Ueli Grunder a terminé ses études de médecine dentaire à l’université de Zürich en 1982.
Après avoir exercé en cabinet privé pendant deux ans, il a suivi pendant trois ans une formation
en prothèse fixée, en prothèse partielle et en science des matériaux chez le Prof. Dr. P. Schärer à
l’université de Zürich; université où, depuis 1987, il est formateur en implantologie.
Le Dr. Ueli Grunder est spécialisé en odontologie reconstructrice (SSRD). Il exerce depuis 1989 en
association avec le Dr. Gaberthüel en cabinet privé à Zollikon-Zürich.
Son domaine d’activité est la prothèse fixée et en particulier l’implantologie ; il se consacre principalement aux aspects chirurgicaux et prothétiques de l’implantologie dans ses conférences internationales
et ses diverses publications.
Dr. Ueli Grunder est ancien président de la société suisse d’implantologie (SGI) et de l’académie
européenne de dentisterie esthétique (EAED).
