Eric Wolf Lectures
Zu Ehren des in Wien geborenen und in der NS-Zeit vertriebenen Eric Wolf veranstaltet, einem der bedeutensten
Vertreter der Sozialanthropologie des 20. Jahrhunderts. In
Zusammenarbeit mit dem Universitätsinstitut für Kultur- und
Sozialanthropologie und dem Internationalen Forschungszentrum Kulturwissenschaften (IFK) werden jährlich oder zweijährlich prominente Vertreter/innen des Faches eingeladen,
relevante sozialanthropologische Themen einer breiteren
Öffentlichkeit zu präsentieren.

the Nazi regime, one of the most distinguished anthropologists of the 20th century. In cooperation with the Department
of Social and Cultural Antrhopology (University Vienna) and
