According to designer OLIVER KOENIGS, MOON is a new interpretation of the classic ceiling
light. Available in both round volume-emitting and diffused area lighting, it brings an elegant
contemporary influence feel to an architectural lighting scheme. In each style, MOON is
formally reduced to the most universal of all shapes: the plain and perfect circle.
One of the most outstanding features of MOON is its low profile, due to the use of LED bulbs.
Its surface-mounted design creates a completely smooth and elegant appearance. The
recessed version, with its minimal height, facilitates many options even when there is little
space available.
MOON uses an innovative modular technology concept with an interchangeable lighting
engine at its core. Thus, a large variety of product configurations are available to customize
the illumination to a variety of lighting situations.
Gemäss dem Designer OLIVER KÖNIGS ist MOON gleichzeitig Neuinterpretation der
klassischen Deckenleuchte und zeitgemässe Umsetzung der eleganten architektonischen
Lichtfläche. Denn sie ist sowohl als räumlich strahlendes Volumen als auch als diffus
leuchtende Lichtfläche erhältlich. In beiden Fällen ist die MOON formal reduziert auf die
universellste aller Formen, den schlichten, perfekten Kreis.

Formal herausstechend ist dabei die durch LED ermöglichte, geringe Höhe der MOON. In den
Aufbauversionen erhält die Leuchte dadurch eine besonders elegante und schlanke
Erscheinung. Und in den Einbauversionen eröffnen sich durch die reduzierte Höhe ganz neue
Möglichkeiten auch bei schwierigen Platzverhältnissen.
Technisch zeichnet sich die MOON durch ein innovatives Baukastenprinzip aus, in dessen
Zentrum die austauschbare Lichteinheit installiert wird. Dem Kunden steht dadurch eine
Vielzahl an unterschiedlichen Konfigurationen der Leuchte zur Verfügung, so dass sie sich in
den unterschiedlichsten Situationen einsetzen lässt.
