Beiden Marken standen hierfür die Außen- und Innenseiten des schlanken Regaldisplays zur Verfügung. 2009 wurde für die Marke „Gillette Gamer“ ein neuartiger Typus eines asymmetrisch aufgebauten Regaldisplays entwickelt, das Trays auf vier Ebenen bereithielt, die mit entsprechenden Einsätzen zum Einstecken der Packungen ausgestattet waren. Das oben aufgesteckte Markenschild wies auf einen 25%igen Preisnachlass im Rahmen einer Couponing-Aktion hin. Seitlich war als Werbepartner ein Porträt des französischen Fußballstars Thierry Henry integriert. „Gillette bietet weltweit innovative Produkte für ein optimales Rasurergebnis. Diesen Premiumanspruch wollen wir auch am Point of Sale transportieren. An die Stelle der Warenschütte traten jedoch auch hier komplexe, Ordnung stiftende Steck-Systeme mit individuell auf die Packungsgestaltung zugeschnittenen Einsätzen. Das werbliche Markenschild wurde in Abstimmung auf die TV-Werbung gestaltet, die 2009 die Promotion-Aktion flankierte. Dort traten animierte „Avatare“ der Sportstars Thierry Henry, Roger Federer und Tiger Woods in Erscheinung. Am Point of Sale wurden nun die im Profil gezeigten Stars (in der Markensprache als „Gillette- Franz-Olaf Kallerhoff Champions“ bezeichnet) mit dem (Ab-)Bild der ihnen gleichenden Avatare konfrontiert. Darunter war die Aufforderung zu lesen: „Probieren Sie nun selbst!“ Was um 1914 mit den Vorschlägen eines King Camp Gillette zur markenkonformen Schaufensterdekoration begann, ist heute zu einer der wesentlichsten und ausdrucksstärksten Sprachformen der Marke „Gillette“ geworden. Längst begegnet diese ihrer Kundschaft nicht mehr nur noch im Werbefernsehen. Attraktives und mehrdimensionales Sales Marketing auf Top-Niveau ist für diesen Markenpionier von einst heute zur marktprägenden Selbstverständlichkeit geworden. “Gillette offers around the world innovative products for an ultimate shaving experience.
