novus wurde 1999 unter dem Namen Sport- und Industriegarderoben (SIG) gegründet. Der Name stand
einst für unser erstes Produkt, einem Schranksystem

novus was founded in 1999 under the name Sport- und
Industriegarderoben (SIG, sport and industrial lockers)
The name was formerly related to our first product, a
locker system with integrated ventilation, drying, odour
reduction and heat recovery. In the following years, we
have become a full service provider for air and dust
filtration with innovative solutions well beyond ventilated locker systems. Research and development with
a clear customer focus is our goal. With our own production at the company‘s headquarters and a network
of universities and institutes, we develop „sustainable
air technology”. With a team of process engineers, product designers and experienced marketing specialists, we

for manufacturing plants such as:

with and can evaluate the requirements and particular
difficulties of the installed process technology. In the area
of ventilation and climate technology novus has developed specialised cleanable intake filter systems particularly for applications in the tobacco, food and pharmaceutical
industry, which safely prevent any dust contamination in
the extraction ducts. Especially with the extraction of organic types of dust in combination with heat and humidity
the interior walls of the extraction dust system provide ideal breeding grounds for biological contamination (bacteria,
insects, etc.) thereby jeopardizing product quality and hygiene at the workplace.

Neue Faserwerkstoffe bestimmen rasant die Entwicklung sowohl neuer Textilwerkstoffe für Industrie und Bekleidung, als auch neuer Materialien für
Maschinenbau, Automobilindustrie, alternativer
Energieerzeugung, Gebäudetechnik etc.
Die im Prozess der Herstellung und Verarbeitung
anfallenden Faserstäube müssen effektiv erfasst,
abgeschieden und oftmals als Wertstoff dem Primärprozess zur Kostenreduzierung wieder zugeführt werden.
Die Entstaubung von Faserstäuben ist mit bekannten Entstaubungstechnologien schwierig zu lösen,
da hier eine pneumatische Abreinigung der textilen Filterelemente in der Regel versagt.
In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Institut für Luft- und
Kältetechnik Dresden haben wir einen neuen Faserabscheider entwickelt, der eine problemlose
Entstaubung von Faserstäuben mit hoher Filterbelastung ermöglicht.

New fibre materials are taking the industry by storm, for
example with the development of new textile materials
for industrial use, clothing manufacturers, new materials for machine building & automotive industry, alternative energy production, construction technology, etc.
The fibre dust generated during production and processing must be captured and separated effectively and often
be returned to the primary processing in order to reduce
costs.
The removal of fibre type dust is extremely difficult with
conventional dust extraction and filtration technologies
because pneumatic cleaning of the fabric filter elements
usually fails.
In cooperation with the Institute of Air Handling and
Refrigeration (ILK) in Dresden we developed a new fibre separator that enables an unproblematic removal of
fibre type dust with high load.
By using a mobile testing equipment we can flexibly determine necessary technological process parameters in
close cooperation with the customer.
