Foreword for the football and volleyball tournament in St. Tropez from May 27th
until May 29th, 2011
DEAR SOCCER AND VOLLEYBALL FANS
After having had the chance to welcome France as our partner country at the
Hanover Fair, we now would like to be impressed by the French culture and hospitality on site. It`s a great pleasure for me that the 17th International football
tournament and our 12th International volleyball tournament take place at the
wonderful city St. Tropez and Grimaud and that Lapp-employees from all over the
world demonstrate their sport skills and team spirit here.
I would like to welcome you cordially at the marvellous Côte d’Azur and wish you
two unforgettable days. Make use of the tournament to meet again or to get to
know employees from all over the world and become friends. I am sure that also
in this year, the tournament will become again a great success and I am looking
forward to numerous interesting meetings and conversations with you.
I would like to give my sincere thanks to the organization teams in Germany and
France, who again in this year built up an extraordinary sports event.
Thank you very much for your commitment for the customers of the Lapp Group,
have a good time with exciting games and an unforgettable time in St. Tropez and

LIEBE FUSSBALL UND VOLLEYBALLFREUNDE
Nachdem wir Frankreich als Partnerland auf der diesjährigen HMI begrüßen durften, lassen wir uns nun von der französischen Kultur und Gastfreundschaft vor
Ort beeindrucken. Ich freue mich sehr, dass das 17. Internationale Fußballturnier
und unser 12. Internationales Volleyballturnier im wunderschönen St. Tropez und
Grimaud stattfinden und hier Lapp-Mitarbeiterinnen und –Mitarbeiter aus aller
Welt ihre sportlichen Fähigkeiten und Teamgeist unter Beweis stellen.
Ganz herzlich möchte ich Sie an der herrlichen Côte d’Azur begrüßen und Ihnen
zwei unvergessliche Tage wünschen. Nutzen Sie die Gelegenheit des Turniers,
Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter aus aller Welt wieder zu treffen oder kennen zu
lernen und Freundschaften zu schließen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass das Turnier auch
in diesem Jahr wieder ein voller Erfolg werden wird und freue mich auf zahlreiche
interessante Begegnungen sowie Gespräche mit Ihnen.

It gives me an immense pleasure and privilege as an initiator of the event to welcome all of you for the 17th International Football Tournament and 12th International Volleyball Tournament at Saint-Tropez and Grimaud.
It would be appropriate to begin by recognising the impressive personal and professional commitment that has driven so many of you to criss-cross the world to
participate for another successful sportive event, I thank you all for this effort.
The objective to organise such an event is to bring you all on a common platform
to interact and exchange ideas and opinion about each other with another view.
I thank the Lapp Group to have placed confidence in Lapp Muller to organise this
important event.
We have put in all efforts to give you the best event and wish you all the best and
request you to play safely and enjoy the game to the fullest.

ABOUT THE REGIONS SAINT TROPEZ
Saint-Tropez is a town dedicated to

The village remains the unavoidable
destination for famous people, lovers

with word famous events running all
year round, contribute to building the
town’s legend. However, besides these
festive moments, Saint-Tropez remains
a small fishing village, true ta its
image, with multiple facets and infinite
charms. Many atributes which SaintTropez’s guides will help you to appreciate. Follow them along the colourful
alleys, the Provençal market where you
will find ail the local products which
have made the reputation of the village,
the XVIth Century Citadel and the famous Annonciade Museum. The coastal
path, visiting the wine domains of the
penninsula and the hill-top villages of
Ramatuelle and Gassin are also original
ideas for trips .
COTE D’AZUR - THE BLUE COAST
Provincio galia transalpina was founded towards the end of the Second Century
BC by the Romans who criss-crossed the commercial region of the Mediterranean
arc between Italy and Spain with a network of roads, including the Via Aurelia
and the Via Domitia. The region still bears the traces of numerous civilizations
and today, at the start of the Third Millennium, many different cultures can still be
found rubbing shoulders in Provence.
Vines and olive trees are spread throughout the sun-drenched landscape, each
symbolic of the region and playing an important role in its economy. But this does
not mean that it is a land without contrast: there are geographical contrasts - fertile plains , mountain chains and nearly 800 km (500 miles) of coastline -, and
contrasts of climate - exceptional levels of sunshine but also of rainfall, with a wind
to ‘tear the tail off a donkey’ - the Mistral.
Nowadays, ‘horno-touristicus’ has replaced the conquerors of old, exploring a land
that over millennia has acquired a history rich in culture and human achievement
as weil as conflict. Visitors contribute significantly to the region’s economy.
However, the lure of Provence brings its own human and ecological risks.
Each of the 40 photographs in this book gives a 360-degree view, placing the observer in the centre of each panorama . Together they offer a most unusual view of
some of the splendours of Provence and the Côte d’Azur.
GRIMAUD
A medieval village next to the seaside,
With a modern lake dwelling village
«at its feet, this is how one could «
sum up «Grimaud». Sometimes this
proximity brings people to confuse the
medieval seaside village with the both
of them deserve attention. The village
of Grimaud has a long history, beginning with the Gallo-Roman age. In the
11th century the steep summit drew
attention Of the strategist, due to the
fact that it was situated on a high hill
peak, dominating the Gulf of Saint Tropez and controlling the access from the
North and from the Maures mountains.
Until the 17th century the Castle of Grimaud and the whole Gulf, by the way,
and at that time until the end of the
19th century the Gulf was called «Gulf
of Grimaud feet, this is how one could»
sum up «Grimaud».

All the games will be played according to guidelines
and rules of the International Football League, with
some adjustments.

Zeitstrafe von fünf Minuten zur Folge. Erhält ein
Spieler im selben Spiel zweimal die gelbe Karte,
bekommt er die rote Karte und wird vom laufenden
Spiel ausgeschlossen.

After the preliminary rounds the two best teams of
each group reach the finals. If two teams have same
scores, the following decision criteria will be valid
in mentioned order: 1.) Goal difference 2.) Direct
comparison 3.) Penalty shoot-out, five penalty shots
per team.

besten zwei Mannschaften in die Finalrunden. Bei

If a player receives a yellow card, he will be given
a five minute penalty. Should a player receive a second yellow card in the same game, he will be given
a red card and excluded from the rest of the game.
If there is a draw in the quarterfinals, semi finals or
game for the 3rd place, the decision will be made
in a series of penalty shots (5 players per team).If
there is a draw in the final when the game time is
over, there will be an extension for 5 minutes and
then a series of penalty shots will follow (5 players
per team).

If the team doesn’t show up at the appointed time or
cannot play, it has automatically lost 3:0.

turn in a complete list of players to the tournament
Organizers.

Lapp Muller cannot be held responsible for loss,
theft or damage of personal belongings.

Bei Gleichstand im Viertelfinale, Halbfinale und
Spiel um Platz 3 wird die Entscheidung durch Elfmeterschießen herbeigeführt (5 Spieler pro Mannschaft). Im Finale gibt es bei Gleichstand 5 Minuten
Verlängerung, danach wird die Entscheidung durch
Elfmeterschießen herbeigeführt (5 Spieler pro
Mannschaft).
