Renovada recentemente com o pretexto de celebrar os seus
45 anos, a Boutique Penelope, na Cidade do Quebec, recebe
os visitantes com uma atmosfera requintada, onde predominam grandes volumes de cor antagónicos.
Com assinatura da Hatem+D Architecture, o novo ambiente
nasce da fusão harmoniosa de três ambientes distintos
e bem definidos. Ao fundo da boutique, um espaço quase
inteiramente negro assinala a secção dedicada aos relógios,
contrastando com área de joalharia, no centro, que ilumina
o espaço com branco total e expositores em vidro. A secção
lateral, em tons de champagne e com traços que lembram
os cortes dos diamantes, garante o equilíbrio entre os três
ambientes da loja.
Recently renovated with the pretext of celebrating its 45th
anniversary, the Boutique Penelope, in Quebec City, welcomes visitors with a stylish atmosphere, in which large
volumes of opposing colours predominate.
With design from Hatem+D Architecture, the new environment develops from the harmonious fusion of three different
and well defined environments. At the back of the boutique,
an almost entirely black space marks the section dedicated
to watches, contrasting with the jewellery area, in the centre,
which lights up the space with the total white of the glass
display cabinets. The side section, in champagne hues and
with a design reminiscent of a cut diamond, ensures the
balance between the store’s three environments.

Charging your mobile phone wirelessly may
seem quite appealing at a time in which
batteries no longer last a week, as they used
to before the mass appearance of smartphones. This new solution lets you charge
your phone or tablet, by simply placing it on
a table or counter equipped with a hidden
transmitter, which wirelessly transfers energy to the receiver within or attached to your
phone or tablet, thus avoiding the use of any
cables. This charging by induction technology can be incorporated in furniture leaving
the factory, and is set to become a mass
solution in the near future.
