The organ is unwanted and immediately available.
This is a fine instrument, the early work of a notable west country organ builder. It warrants
preservation and relocation.
It was initially built for Wesley Street Methodist Church, Jersey, and moved by the original builder,
Oldknow, to the Methodist Church at St Aubin c.1890.

The organ had a major overhaul in 1978, when the steel trackers were replaced with phosphor
bronze, and a central balanced mechanical swell pedal installed.
It is playable and has an attractive sound, though the bellows need repair.

The organ has been well maintained throughout its life, at various times by Walker, Willis, Norman
& Beard and, more recently, by Reg Lane (Tel. 01787 474 640) and Andrew Stevens (Tel. 01440
730 085) of Pipe Organ Builders.
The church is very anxious to install a replacement instrument as soon as possible and would
therefore like to hear at once from any party having even mild interest –without obligation. A
nominal sum only, is asked, and the buyer would be responsible for costs and arrangements in
dismantling and removal.
