One of the decisive factors in the professional
design and planning of shops is a knowledge
of the special characteristics of the different
sectors and product ranges. It is a question
above all of achieving a positive effect for the
“right” product presentation. What is required
is fitness in subjects like optimal route guidance and customer orientation; presentation
according to criteria governed by merchandising and revenues; product pressure that is in
line with the type of store; and the high school
of visual merchandising. Expert knowledge is
called for even in apparently trivial questions,
such as the need to observe maximum load
limits, as well as with regard to complex tasks
or appropriate lighting.

In der Ladenbau-Produktentwicklung ist die
kreative Handschrift innovativer Designer
ebenso gefragt wie die akribische Arbeit
von Ingenieuren in Bezug auf Funktionalität,
Material- bzw. Oberflächentechnik und Statik.
Gerade, wenn es um die Kreation von Warenträgern geht, ist eine intensive Beschäftigung
mit den zu präsentierenden Sortimenten und
Artikeln notwendig. Und selbstverständlich
sind die Umdasch-Produktentwickler auch
mit allen Spielregeln des Visual Merchandising
vertraut.
Unter dem Motto „Individuelle Gestaltung
mit System“ entwickelt UMDASCH Shopfitting
im Baukastenprinzip sowohl Standardsysteme
als auch kunden- bzw. markenspezifische
Lösungen. Die Systeme setzen sich aus intelligent konstruierten Universalkomponenten
zusammen, die in hohen Stückzahlen und
damit kostengünstig hergestellt werden
können. Wandsysteme ermöglichen Warenpräsentation in vertikalen oder horizontalen
Profilstrukturen sowie über punktuell gesetzte
Buchsen. Freistehende Ständer und Möbelsysteme sind für den Einsatz im Mittelraum

Immer wieder setzt UMDASCH Shopfitting

GreenShelf und dem SmartShelf. Das GreenShelf hat mit seinen Materialvarianten bei

Under the motto “Individual design with
system” UMDASCH Shopfitting develops both
standard systems and customer or brandspecific solutions according to a modular
principle. The systems consist of intelligently
constructed universal components which can
be produced in large numbers and therefore
at a reasonable price. Wall systems permit
the presentation of products in vertical or
horizontal profile structures as well as by
means of connectors positioned at intervals.
Free-standing units and furniture systems are
designed for use in the centre space.
Time and again, UMDASCH Shopfitting sets
pioneering trends in product development –
for example with the GreenShelf and the
SmartShelf. With its shelves made of various
materials – from wood to bamboo to banana
stalks or reeds – the GreenShelf caused a stir

Dekor-Oberflächen
Im Standard-Dekorsortiment werden die
Uni-Farben Weiß, Signalweiß, Schwarz,
Anthrazit, Beige und Dunkelgrau, für die
Holzoptik die Oberflächen Wenge, Nuss,
Birke, Asteiche, Buche und Kirsche geführt.
Laminat-Oberflächen
Als Standard-Dekore sind hochwertige

Pulver-Oberflächen

Bei den Kunststoff-Oberflächen handelt
es sich in den meisten Fällen um Kantenausführungen passend zu den UMDASCH
Shopfitting Melamin-Dekor-Oberflächen. Es
werden auch Kunststoffe in Plattenmaterial
(Compactplatten) angeboten. Des Weiteren
sind auch Acrylglas-Teilungssysteme sowie
Preisauszeichnungen in den verschiedensten
Oberflächen, passend für diverse Fachböden,
verfügbar.

Shopfitting konzipiertes Pulver.)
Zusätzlich zu den Standard-Pulver-Oberflächen können natürlich auch alle weiteren
RAL-Farben verarbeitet werden. NCS- und
Pantone-Farben finden auf Anfrage ebenfalls
Berücksichtigung.
Bei der Pulverbeschichtung mit transparenten
Pulverlacken ist das optische Erscheinungsbild
des Endproduktes stark von der Beschaffenheit des rohen Grundmaterials abhängig.
Pulverbeschichtungen bieten einen hervorragenden Korrosionsschutz sowie eine hohe
Kratz- und Schlagfestigkeit. Unsere Pulver-Beschichtungsanlage arbeitet umweltfreundlich
auf dem aktuellen Stand der Technik.
RAL-Nasslackierung
Zu den Standard-Pulver-Oberflächen sind
auch im Holzbereich die dazu passenden RALoder NCS-Farbtöne erhältlich. Das Trägermaterial ist bei dieser Verwendung vorzugsweise
Spanplatte mit Grundierfolie. Die pigmentierte
Oberfläche wird im Standard mit einem Glanzgrad G50 ausgeführt. Ebenso stehen dafür bei
Bedarf matte oder hochglänzende Oberflächen je nach Kundenwunsch zur Verfügung.
Textil, Folie, Sperrholz
Im Sortiment sind auch Teile mit Textil-Oberflächen erhältlich. Selbiges gilt ebenso für den
Folienbereich. Für Sonderkonstruktionen
wie Sicht-Oberflächen oder aus statischen
Gründen wird auch Sperrholz eingesetzt.

Here you can normally choose between
float glass and safety glass. These options
can be finished in clear glass, satinised,
satin-effect or in accordance with the
customer’s requirements.
Plastic surfaces
In most cases it is a question of edging
finished to match our melamine decorative
surfaces. Plastics are also available as sheet
materials (compact laminates). We also offer
acrylic glass dividing systems and price labels
in a variety of surfaces to match various
shelves.
– ALL 9995: Anodised silver smooth
satin gloss (ALL 9995 is a powder created for UMDASCH Shopfitting.)
In addition to the standard powder surfaces,
of course all other RAL colours can also be
processed. NCS and Pantone colours can
also be incorporated upon request.
In the case of powder coating with colourless/transparent powder lacquer, the optical
appearance of the end product depends
very much on the texture of the raw basic
material. Powder coating provides excellent protection against corrosion and a high
resistance to scratches and impact. Our
powder-coating plant uses the latest technology and is environmentally friendly.
RAL wet painting
The corresponding RAL and NCS colours
are available to match the standard powder surfaces, also in the wood area. The
preferred shelving material for this application is chipboard with a priming film. The
coloured surface is produced with a gloss
grade of G50 as standard. If required, matt
or high-gloss surfaces are also available to
meet customer requirements.
Fabric, film, plywood
The range also includes components backed
with fabric surfaces. The same also applies to
films. For special constructions or for reasons
of statics, plywood may also be used.

Basixx besticht durch den modularen Aufbau:
Stahlrohr-Steher in verschiedenen Höhen und
Distanzzargen in drei Achsbreiten bilden die
Grundstruktur von Basixx. Zusätzliche Ausleger ermöglichen den freistehenden Einsatz
an der Wand und im Mittelraum.
Auf die Steher-Konstruktion werden Rückwände aufgesetzt und in die Steher-Schlitze
werden die Warenträger eingehängt. Die
Rückwände sind frei gestaltbar.
Das umfangreiche Warenträger-Programm
ermöglicht ein Merchandising für jedes
Waren-Sortiment.
Basixx convinces by virtue of its modular
structure: steel tubing uprights in various
heights and with spacer frames in three axis
widths form the basic structure of Basixx.
Additional side arms permit its use as a freestanding element against the wall and in the
middle of the space.
Back panels are mounted onto the upright
construction and the shelves are slotted into
the slits in the uprights. The back panels can
be designed as required.
The wide range of shelves available permits
the merchandising of every product range.
BAUSTRUKTUR
Die Basis bildet ein Doppelschlitz-Metallsteher
in 90x30 mm (BasixxA25) bzw. 60x30 mm
in der Light-Version (BasixxA25light). In
die Steher-Schlitze können zwei Konsolen
nebeneinander eingehängt werden. So lassen
sich durchgehende Ebenen von Fachböden
sowie Abhänge- und Konfektionsstangen
bilden. Typisch für Basixx sind gesteckte
anstatt geschweißter Verbindungen: Auch
der Fußausleger wird in den Systemsteher
gesteckt und ist somit wieder demontierbar.
ASSEMBLY STRUCTURE
The basis is formed by a metal upright
with a double slit measuring 90x30 mm for
BasixxA25 and 60x30 mm for the BasixxA25Light version. Two shelves can be inserted
side by side into the upright to create continuous shelves, hanging brackets and clothing
rails. Basixx connections are inserted rather
than welded: even the foot extension is simply
inserted into the system upright and thus can
be dismantled again.

Konsolen
Bei Konsolen der Type HV50 (Höhenverstellung im Raster von 50 mm) ist auch eine
Schrägstellung mit 15° möglich. Konsolen
der Type HV25 bieten über eine spezielle
Konsolenzahn-Technik die Möglichkeit der
Höhenverstellung von 25 mm (siehe Abbildung). Somit können Warenträger-Abstände
an das jeweilige Produkt angepasst und
höhenoptimiert werden.

In the case of the HV50 unit (height adjustment at intervals of 50 mm) angles of 15° can
also be incorporated. Units of the type HV25
provide the option of a height adjustment
at intervals of 25 mm thanks to the special
shelving notch technology (see illustration).
This allows the distance between the shelves
to be adjusted to suit the product concerned
together with an optimisation of the height.

Je nach Bedarf kann eine stehermittige Rückwand (Blech, Gitter, Holz) mit vertieften Fachböden (Blech, Gitter) oder eine vorgesetzte
Rückwand mit herkömmlichen Warenträgern
eingesetzt werden. Die mittige Rückwand
maximiert die Ausnützung der Stellfläche
mit einer Vergrößerung um rund 10 Prozent
bei gleicher Regaltiefe. Im Vergleich zu einer
vorgesetzten Rückwand wird der Warendruck
erhöht und das benötigte Lager verkleinert.
ASSEMBLY STRUCTURE
Depending on requirements, a back panel between the uprights (metal sheeting, wire mesh,
wood) with deeper shelves (metal sheeting,
wire mesh) or a prefixed back panel with normal
shelves can be used. The centrally positioned
back panel maximises the use of the storage
space with an increase of about 10 % for the
same depth of shelf. Compared with a prefixed
back panel the product pressure is increased
and the storage space required is reduced.

The appearance of Basixx can be varied
to a high degree: wire mesh, wood, acrylic
and sheet metal can be freely combined as
required. This means that inexpensive standard components permit highly individual and
customer-specific design possibilities.
The A25Light version provides a lighter
appearance with narrower uprights and less
robust shelves which are ideal for use in the
fashion sector.

Basixx shelves and brackets are inserted by
means of a click system. They are not welded
and can therefore be dismantled and are
easy to store and transport. In the case of
Basixx A25Light, wire shelves with delicate

narrow metal edge are available.
