Children up to six years are free of charge. Young persons under the age
of 16 receive a concession of 30 %.

The cure gallery is open all year round. Please refer to the office for exceptions on bank holidays and closures due to security-technical works.

The healing effect
We experience the effects of the salt cure gallery again
and again and this is why the cure gallery is open all year
round, Sundays included. A large number of ailments,
especially psychosomatic ones, are eased through the
stay in the cure gallery. From the experience accounts of
our visitors there are to be named the following, for
example:

nasosinusitis or paranasal sinusitis

· pollenosis (hay fever)

Experience has shown that a cure of three weeks with a
daily stay of two hours in the cure gallery shows the best
and most lasting successes especially with chronic diseases. Practically all the visitors agree that the visit in the
salt cure gallery leads to a deep relaxation of body and
mind, which also leads to a deep relaxation and a release
of stress symptoms with healthy visitors. Because of this
we have introduced special entries that are exclusively for
relaxation.

In order to secure you a pleasant stay, we provide sleeping bags or blankets. The temperature in the salt cure
gallery is constantly at 12 degrees Celsius, whether in
summer or winter.
Each visitor receives a wooden lounger that can be
adjusted at the foot or head. There are never more than
50 visitors in the gallery per entry, to secure well-being
and silence.

Monday to Friday from 08:30 am bis 4:30 pm and
Saturday, Sunday and on holidays 30 minutes before each entry.

During the visit two professionals accompany you.
Medical care outside the cure gallery can be provided by
the health centre Salus Gesundheitszentrum in Bad
Reichenhall upon request. You can have a look at the
evaluation of the experience accounts of our visitors on
our web site. Should you be interested in a medical
assessment of these accounts please contact the Salus
Clinic under 0800-0540320.
To conclude each visit we offer you a glass of water
enriched with Bad Reichenhall source brine to intensify
the effect of the salt cure gallery.
The visit takes about two hours, including the 650-meter
long entry with the electrical narrow-gauge railway.
Our team in Berchtesgaden
meeting point
Berchtesgaden is 18 km from Salzburg and 180 km from
Munich. There is a large parking space at the salt mine
Berchtesgaden, which is signposted and located directly
at the entry. Meeting point for the entry into the mine is
in the street Bergwerkstraße number 85a. The cash desk
and the office are located directly behind the mountain
restaurant.
